When Mr. S.D. sent the following article to me this week I knew I would be blogging about it, and accordingly, it went straight to my “final seven” folder right away, which is a rare occurrence. Normally, I sort email articles as I receive them into a “semi-finals” and “finals” folder, and at the end of the week, comb through both and pull articles for blogging which go into the “final seven”. Not this one; it went directly to the final seven. I think you’ll see why once we get to my high octane speculation of the day. But first, the article:

Isis Makes Up to $100 Million a Year Smuggling Ancient Artifacts From Iraq and Syria

What makes this article so delicious, from a certain point of view, is that it comes from a lamestream corporate controlled media “source” like Newsweek; it’s not a conspiracy theory coming from an “alt media” site.   So here’s what I want to concentrate on:

The Islamic State militant group (ISIS) makes as much as $100 million annually by trafficking looted antiquities out of Iraq and Syria and selling them on the black market.

The Wall Street Journal reported that while it was not possible to put a precise figure on the amount of revenue generated for ISIS by the trade of the artifacts, an unnamed French security official believed it to be around $100 million. Estimates from other sources ranged from the low tens of millions upward.

One could hardly expect an “outlet” like Newsweek to pass up the opportunity to tar Hobby Lobby, an American retail chain whose owners are evangelicals, en passant with the implication that they might have been wittingly or unwittingly dealing with ISIS. The real story here however is the allegation that antiquities trafficking forms a large income source to the terrorist group.

And this is where my high octane speculation of the day comes in, for as most readers here probably know, the internet is rife with suspicion, some of it very well argued, that the real backing of ISIS comes from a variety of western or allied intelligence agencies; people have argued cases for Israeli intelligence, Saudi intelligence, British intelligence, and various American intelligence agencies being connected to, and supplying, and helping even to train, the group..

That, of course, now puts a very different spin on this story, for if one combines these two ideas, then one is left with the implication that these intelligence agencies are in the antiquities smuggling business, and that means by further implication, that the antiquities allegedly being smuggled are also being vetted by these agencies prior to being sold on the black antiquities market, as Mr. S.D. observed in his accompanying comments to the article. I could not agree more, for I have argued, since the appearance of my book Babylon’s Banksters some years ago, that the recovery of antiquities and any potential information that might be gleaned therefrom was a hidden objective of the latest American-British invasion of Iraq, and that it may form one of the hidden reasons for their ongoing attempts to topple the regime of Mr. Assad in Syria, and that this same motivation may ultimately lie behind those advocating a military intervention in Iran as well. Such a scheme would indeed “fit the pattern” of designing operations to fulfill several objectives, in this case, to create yet another funding mechanism for covert operations and projects, while at the same time, using that mechanism to search for knowledge and or technology, and “pull” it from public view.

In short, I am viewing this odd story as a little bit of confirmation of my high octane speculation that antiquities are at the top of a very covert agenda in the Middle East.

See you on the flip side…

Hobby Lobby Fined For Importing Stolen Artifacts

This week has been such an unusually fruitful week for articles being shared that, today, Saturday, I am still combing through them to decide on what to schedule for blogs this coming week! So I want to thank everyone once again for sharing so many good finds, making the choice of what to blog about more difficult and, in a way, more fun. Some of these articles I have in fact archived for next week, as I may yet blog about them.

But this story had to be at the top of the list. Indeed, when I saw it, there was no doubt in my mind that it was at the top of the “final cuts” folder. So many people found various versions of it that I knew there was something in the aether and that this story would require some attention. So I present some of those various versions that people found for your consideration, before I get to my high octane speculation about the story, with a thank you to all of you who shared these articles and who are following the story:

Hobby Lobby to pay $3 million fine, forfeit smuggled ancient artifacts

Hobby Lobby will pay $3 million, forfeit ancient items smuggled from Iraq

Justice Department sues Hobby Lobby over thousands of looted Iraqi artifacts it bought

Let’s begin with the last of these articles, which indicates that Israel and the United Arab Emirates were involved in the deal. What is unclear, of course, is whether the individuals and organizations that functioned as components of the deal were simply located in these countries, or whether they were actually members of their governments. For reasons I’ll get to in the high octane speculation, I suspect the latter.

Turning to the second article, we see a picture of a cuneiform tablet from the New York Times, with the caption “Pictured is a cuneiform tablet, one of several artifacts smuggled from Iraq by owners of Hobby Lobby.” Then we read:

Prosecutors said in the complaint that Hobby Lobby, whose evangelical Christian owners have long maintained an interest in the biblical Middle East, began in 2009 to assemble a collection of cultural artifacts from the Fertile Crescent. The company went so far as to send its president and an antiquities consultant to the United Arab Emirates to inspect a large number of rare cuneiform tablets — traditional clay slabs with wedge-shaped writing that originated in Mesopotamia thousands of years ago.

In 2010, as a deal for the tablets was being struck, an expert on cultural property law who had been hired by Hobby Lobby warned company executives that the artifacts might have been looted from historical sites in Iraq and that a failing to determine their heritage could break the law.

Despite these words of caution, the prosecutors said, Hobby Lobby bought more than 5,500 artifacts — the tablets and clay talismans and so-called cylinder seals — from an unnamed dealer for $1.6 million in December 2010.

Now, this really captured my attention, not for what it is saying, but rather, for what it seems to be carefully avoiding saying, namely, that these cuneiform tablets and cylinder seals might be some of the missing loot from the Baghdad Museum Looting, about which I have written in my books and blogged about. I have always been suspicious of the whole events for several reasons, and it’s worth recalling those reasons: (1) People dressed in American uniforms were seen by others going into the museum and removing things. Whether they were actually American soldiers or merely people dressed in American uniforms is a moot point. I have suspected the latter, and that the looting was a false flag, because (2) the story of the looting and people dressed in American uniforms was broken – as far as I am aware – by Germany’s Der Spiegel magazine, a point which puts a rather funny light on the whole event, for as I have pointed out numerous times, the French and Germans had several archaeological teams in Iraq at the behest of Saddam Hussein’s government, digging up the Iraqi desert. These teams would have kept field catalogues of their discoveries, including brief notes about the contents of any cuneiform tablets they unearthed. Of course, when the US and UK and its “allies” went into Iraq during operation Desert Storm, the French and Germans were advised to remove their archaeological teams. The unwritten part of this story is that the German intelligence, the BND (Bundesnachrichtendienst) maintained a presence in the country, and hence, in my speculations previously advanced, would have been capable of mounting a looting of the Museum with personnel in American uniforms. (3) When the Museum looting was studied, experts came to the conclusion that it was an “inside job” since the looters apparently were interested in specific things and knew exactly where to go to get them, in spite of the fact that many items had not, apparently, been entered into the Museum catalogue.

(4) Then came the U.S.-led recovery operation led by Marine Colonel Bagdonovich, which, in terms of the art works recovered, was quite successful. But as I mentioned at the time, something disturbed me, and this was the fact that the missing cuneiform tablets had seemed to drop completely out of the story, while the world’s newspapers concentrated on supplying us with pictures of dazzling and beautiful ancient Mesopotamian art works that had been recovered. Faced with golden crowns and jewelry, thousands of dusty brown clay tablets really weren’t very sensational, and I suspected then, and still do now, that that was the whole point: the really important loot was the tablets, not the art works.

The tablets, in other words, had dropped right off the radar, until a few years later, several thousands apparently turned up in Spain, causing a rumpus between Madrid and Baghdad, because Madrid did not want to return them. I say apparently turned up in Spain, because, like so often in these stories, we are never presented with the chain of evidence concerning these tablets to document the claim that they were, indeed, recently looted.  And so it is here: we’re supposed to believe that Hobby Lobby was the final step in a chain of custody from Iraq, to Israel and the Emirates, to the USA. But in order to establish this, it would seem to me that one would have to have an itemized inventory of what was on the tablets, or a photo record of each one, and then establish that the specific tablets in question were in the possession of each of the alleged participants.   So the question remains open: were these tablets part of the original Baghdad Museum Looting haul (or any associated looting activity at that time?) and what is on said tablets that would make Hobby Lobby want to buy them (and then, sell some of them)?

All this brings me to my high octane speculation of the day, for in the first article we read that this may not have been a “simple mistake” on Hobby Lobby’s part:

Ancient cuneiform tablets and clay bullae from modern-day Iraq were smuggled into the United States through the United Arab Emirates and Israel, JOD officials said. With Hobby Lobby’s consent they were falsely labeled as “ceramics” and “samples” and illegally shipped to Hobby Lobby stores and two corporate offices, according to the DOJ.

Cuneiform is an ancient system of writing on clay tablets that was used in Mesopotamia, according to the DOJ, and clay bullae are balls of clay on which seals have been imprinted.

“In 2009, Hobby Lobby began acquiring a variety of historical Bibles and other artifacts. Developing a collection of historically and religiously important books and artifacts about the Bible is consistent with the company’s mission and passion for the Bible,” said a Hobby Lobby statement. (Emphasis added)

We are told that the haul was not simply cuneiform tablets, but cylinder seals and so on, and that all this interest was because of Hobby Lobby’s interest in the bible. Cylinder seals were used in Mesopotamia as a way of sealing documents; they would be equivalent to today’s corporate seals, or monarchial or hierarchical seals of a king, nobleman, or bishop, and thus they are rather important from a legal point of view. They could, potentially, be seals that once belonged to Mesopotamian dynasties (and I’ll let the reader run wild with speculation on that possibility… I don’t think I need to say any more). What interests me rather is the allegation that these items were intentionally mislabeled, and therefore that the intention was to smuggle them into this country. That implies, to my speculative mind, a further intention to possibly remove more “intriguing” or perhaps even “offending” tablets from public view and scrutiny, while benefiting a narrow circle of insiders studying the contents of these objects. And what better way to do it than through corporate cutouts. I’ve even entertained the notion that the real reason Saddam Hussein was hung was that he may already have been briefed on the possible “sensational contents” of some of the things being dug up in his country’s deserts, and that he simply had to be permanently silenced. After all, it was he who invited those archaeological teams to Iraq in the first place.

And, as always, we’re still waiting for these media to report on the contents of these tablets, or at least, direct us to links where we may view each and every one, and to sites where – if any translations have been made – we can read what’s on them. I suspect if that were to happen, we’d be reading a lot of ordinary business transactions, a bit like reading someone’s checkbook register. The “juicy” stuff has probably been carefully removed from public view… and perhaps found its way into a corporate vault somewhere between Baghdad and here.

The sad bottom line is, that the looting of antiquities from Iraq is a story that just keeps on giving.

See you on the flip side…

Book Review: Origins of the Sphinx – Celestial Guardian Of Pre-Pharaonic Civilization by Robert M. Schoch Ph.D. and Robert Bauval | #SmartReads

OriginsOfTheSphinx
TheBreakaway | BreakawayConciousness
Zy Marquiez
May 7, 2017

Written in a cogent, easy to follow, and yet daring manner, the renowned scholars, Shoch and Bauval, are at it again. In Origins of the Sphinx the authors challenge Egyptology at its core: at the Great Sphinx.

Methodically, the authors sift through a wide assortment of data, which seeks to ascertain a more precise dating of the ancient monument.

Split up into two parts, the first half of the book covers seven different topics, which includes an epilogue, while the latter half covers nine different appendixes that finalize the last half of the book.

Each of the initial seven parts is written solely by one of the two authors. At first this choice seemed odd, but it probably was best in order to differentiate who’s bringing about what particular commentary and argument.

Sampling a wide data set, the authors take a cursory glance at the architecture, which includes the Valley and Mortuary Temples, with multi-ton megalithic blocks, as well as more. A gander is also taken at a few of the visitors and researchers that excavated and sampled the sight, such as Colonel William Howard Vyse and Giovanni Battista Caviglia, who had a penchant for the mysticism, the occult, and more. But the authors don’t stop there. Also covered are issues with the fragments of the beard of the Sphinx, geophysical techniques to view below the surface of the Sphinx enclosure, considerations on water erosion on the Sphinx, as well as an in-depth analysis of the Sphinx’s possible construction date.

Regarding the date, Shoch, after some extended analysis in the chapter Sands Of Time, infers:

“…using a linear “conservative” calibration and assuming a date of 4,500 years ago for the western end (which in my assessment is a minimum date; it could be older), then the original core body of the Sphinx is minimally 2.7 times older than 4,500 years ago, giving a date after rounding of circa 10,000 BCE. All in all, I suspect that the proto-Sphinx was in existence prior to the end of the last ice age (that is, prior to 9700 BCE) and was contemporaneous with other structures, such as the oldest portions of Gobekli Tepe in southeastern Turkey. Put simply, the seismic data are compatible with an initial date of circa 10,000 BCE (or even a bit earlier) for the core body of the Sphinx. There is no doubt in my mind that the seismic data alone, independent of any other evidence – such as the surface weather and erosion, which I discuss in chapter 7 – strongly support the hypothesis that the origins of the Great Sphinx predate dynastic times by many millennia.”[pp.78-79]

Such an assertion will undoubtedly send shockwaves through the orthodox Egyptology communities. Then again, such a hypothesis will not surprise many of those exploring other avenues of research in the alternative research community.

Be that as it may, another salient component of this mystery discussed by Bauval is whether Khafre couples with the Sphinx as conventional Egyptology dictates, or whether some other theory might make more sense. Also discussed is what took place with the Dream Stela, the inscription of the Great Limestone Stela of Amenhotep II, the Edfu Temple Texts, and much more.

This book really features a lot more intriguing information than that mentioned. The authors are not only erudite in their research, but make the information accessible for the lay person. That also doesn’t even begin to delve into the nine appendices, which also give a deeper glance that’s a bit technical, but helps shed light onto the situation. Each of the appendices is essentially its own article, and yet couple to the rest of the book rather seamlessly.

If you’re looking for an open-minded foray into the mystery of the Sphinx, that’s meticulously researched while also offering the tools for incisive individuals to come to their own conclusions, hesitate no longer. The approach taken by the authors, although unorthodox, should be considered at length, for if what they say is true, then the history that we’ve been brought up with is drastically different than what we’re being told. Time will ultimately tell, but my bet’s that the authors are pulling on a thread that goes a lot deeper than merely the Sphinx.

Smithsonian & The State Department Team Up

Source: GizaDeathStar.com
Dr. Joseph P. Farrell Ph.D.
April 11, 2017

This interesting article was sent by Ms. K.B. and it’s an indication – at least to me – that one of my favorite “high octane speculations” might be true. But before we get to that, here’s the article:

Smithsonian and U.S. Department of State Partner on Emergency Cultural Heritage Work in Iraq

Ostensibly, the partnership is part of an effort to preserve the remains of the ancient city of Nimrud from further destruction by radical jihadists, which in turn helps to promote “dialogue” and “mutual understanding” between societies “under stress”:

“Nimrud is part and parcel of Iraqi heritage and of our common patrimony,” said Acting Assistant Secretary of State for Educational and Cultural Affairs Mark Taplin. “What ISIS has sought to destroy, we are determined to set right. It is in America’s interest to contribute to a better future for Iraq. Time and time again, we have seen how collaboration in cultural heritage protection and preservation fosters dialogue and understanding within societies under stress. And in supporting this project, we hope to inspire others—in the region and in the international community—to help redress the damage done by ISIS at Nimrud and at countless other cultural-heritage landmarks in Iraq and in Syria.”

The project also includes a participating role for the University of Pennsylvania:

The Smithsonian also convened a “Protecting the Cultural Heritage of Religious Minorities” workshop in 2016 and created the training manual “Guide to Mosul Heritage” with the University of Pennsylvania, the U.S. Committee of the Blue Shield and the COCOM Cultural Heritage Action Group.

This is significant since the University of Pennsylvania’s online “sign list” of cuneiograms is widely used by scholars of cuneiform tablets.

So why am I boring you with all of this stuff about a mundane project to preserve Iraq’s cultural heritage, and that there is a collaboration between the Smithsonian Institution and the State Department?  Here’s where one of my long-held and favorite high octane speculations or hypotheses comes in. I have thought, with a few other people, that ever since there was a US military intervention in the Middle East, beginning with the Gulf War, that there was more than an “oil” agenda going on. To be sure, the present conflict in Syria and the confrontation between the US (and behind the scenes, Israel and the [out]house of Saud) on the one hand, and Russia and Iran on the other, is about oil, oil pipelines, and, of course, the old conflict between Suni and Shia Islam. What is that “other agenda”? Antiquities. From Persia to Libya, that region of the world is awash with antiquities, tablets, texts, lore, artwork, temples, ziggurats, pyramids – you name it.

I have maintained that if one accepts that some of those ancient texts – particularly those from Mesopotamia, modern day Iraq – are about ancient “cosmic, interplanetary wars” of “the gods”, and reads them from the standpoint of modern advances in science and technology, some truly astonishing things are said in those ancient texts, and that there are even indications of advanced weapons technologies. On this basis, I have always maintained a suspicion that the invasion of Iraq, at a very deep level, was not just about oil, but about the search for clues to those putative ancient texts, and possibly, the technologies they describe, in other words, antiquities.

In this regard, a collaboration between the Smithsonian and the State department would seem to corroborate – at least, in a very broad, contextual way – my basic hypothesis. Of course, there is nothing unusual about such collaboration between foreign affairs and antiquities departments of governments: many European nations, particular France and Great Britain, have long had such partnerships between their foreign ministries and their national museums and antiquities scholars. So what’s the big deal?

Drilling down a bit deeper, as many readers of this website are probably aware, for many years there have been stories circulating in the alternative research community of the Smithsonian’s role in locating ancient sites, and removing, and even destroying, archaeological evidence that does not fit the standard academic “narrative” of ancient human history and prehistory. In other words, it has been busily engaged in the suppression of evidence and, that means, in the acquisition of evidence to begin with, in order to suppress it. While there has never (in my opinion) been any definitive and compelling proof of this activity, there is at least enough information out there (again, in my opinion) to raise significant questions and point to significant indications of the possibility of such activity. Why is that important? Recently a story appeared that an ISIS leader’s apartment was found containing antiquities presumed to be destroyed. Funding terrorist activities through the black market in antiquities is, indeed, one of the funding mechanisms for such groups. And again, we’ve all seen videos of jihadists blowing up this or that ancient wall frieze, or carving, or statue. Some, viewing these videos, have suggested that they were counterfeit “artifacts” specially constructed to “blow up”, so that the real one, for whatever reason, could be removed permanently from the public view and record. Why look for dead Nazis who, supposedly, were executed by Hitler for participation in the bomb plot? Similarly, why look for antiquities which, supposedly, were blown up?

I’m suggesting here in today’s high octane speculation, that if one combines this article with those stories of archaeological “recovery and suppression” by the Smithsonian (stories, which, incidentally, come from the 19th century, see my Genes, Giants, Monsters, and Men), a very different picture emerges of the activities. Indeed, it is important to remember in this regard the USA’s own deep and covert role in the creation of ISIS and other such groups to begin with, the very groups “destroying” certain antiquities.

The bottom line for me? I’m suspicious of the story.

See you on the slip side…

Antarctic Atlantis: Human Settlements Under All That Ice Down There?

Antarctica, Surfer Magazine | Antartica
Source: GizaDeathStar.com
Dr. Joseph P. Farrell Ph.D.
March 19, 2017

Just when you thought that Antarctica could not possibly become any stranger, reality comes along and upsets things. And it certainly has been strange. For one thing, temperatures in the southern polar continent have been on average about 20 degrees warmer than normal, and I even read a report that certain places in Antarctica reached a balmy 63.5 degrees Fahrenheit, and that indeed was very convenient, because we were told that the strange visits of former Secretary of State John Kerry and Apollo 11 astronaut Buzz Aldrin were all about “climate change.” Well, indulge my high octane speculation for a moment: if one can manipulate weather systems, then boosting the temperature in Antarctica a bit to “help out the narrative” would not be all that farfetched, if one grants the assumption. And personally, I put nothing past these people. “See? it got up to 63.5 degrees Fahrenheit! So Kerry’s visit was about climate change. Nothing to see here, move along.”

Except that Kerry isn’t the only one to have shown a sudden interest in Antarctica. Readers of this website and of my books will know that he’s but the most recent famous visitor and world leader to take an interest in the continent, a list which includes Admiral Richard Byrd, King Juan Carlos of Spain, Prince What’s-his-name from Great Britain, Kiril III Patriarch of Moscow, and oh yes, did we mention the Nazi expedition and its sponsors Rudolf Hess – who ended up in Great Britain in May of 1941 for reasons that are still difficult to fathom and then spent the rest of his life in Spandau prison, where his British physician discovered reasons to believe that “Hess” was not Hess, while Frau Hess adamantly maintained he was, &c. – and Hermann Goering. One made add to this list the planned visit of elements of Russia’s Baltic Sea Fleet, which, as I pointed out a few weeks ago, was not known for the success of its half-way-round-the-world junkets (see the Russo-Japanese War, Admiral Rozhdestvenski, Admiral Togo, &c.). A strange mix indeed: Orthodox Patriarchs, US diplomats and astronauts, British and Spanish royalty, the Deputy Fuehrer of Nazi Germany (not as a visitor, but as an “interested party”) and the founder and head of the Luftwaffe (again, not as a visitor but as an “interested party”), and an American admiral and a few U.S. Marines.

Nothing to see here, move along.

In my previous high octane speculations about all this Antarctimania I’ve suggested that there might be four basic reasons for all this interest (1) “they” had need to conduct secret negotiations with “someone” and where better to do it than balmy Antarctica, where access is strictly controlled; or (2) “they” had found something down there, of an extraterrestrial nature, either life or technology or both; or (3) “they” had found something relating to humanity’s distant past and perhaps to the legend of Atlantis (after all, Antarctica is a continent submerged under lots of water in the form of ice); or (4) some combination of elements, or all, of the above.

With that in mind, consider this article shared by Mr. B.H. (and many others), for it looks like options (3) and (4) might now be the main contenders in our list of high octane speculative options:

https://worldnewsdailyreport.com/antarctica-nasa-images-reveal-traces-of-ancient-human-settlement-underneath-2-3-km-of-ice/embed/#?secret=c2WaT4oOJi

Note the opening two paragraphs:

WASHINGTON | Recently released remote sensing photography of NASA’s Operation IceBridge mission in Antarctica led to a fascinating discovery when images revealed what some experts believe could be the existence of a possible ancient human settlement lying beneath an impressive 2.3 kilometers of ice.

The intriguing discovery was made during aircraft tests trials of NASA’s Advanced Topographic Laser Altimeter System (ATLAS) lidar technology set to be launched on the Ice, Cloud and land Elevation Satellite-2 (ICESat-2) in 2017, that aims to monitor changes in polar ice.

I don’t know about you, but assuming that these photos are genuine, the image on the right clearly looks artificial to me, and an Indian archaeologist, Ashoka Tripathi, as noted in the article, concurs:

“These are clearly features of some sort of human-made structure, resembling some sort of pyramidal structure. The patterns clearly show nothing we should expect from natural geomorphological formations found in nature. We clearly have here evidence of human engineering. The only problem is that these photographs were taken in Antarctica under 2 kilometers of ice. That is clearly the puzzling part, we do not have any explanation for this at the moment,” he admits.

The problem, as noted, is that this is buried under two kilometers – that’s about 1.2 miles for those of you still using the more scientific imperial metrology – and that raises the problem of how such a habitation became encrusted with about a mile of ice. Predictably, the explanation runs to the Piri Reis map:

“One of histories most puzzling maps is that of the Turkish admiral Piri Reis in 1513 AD which successfully mapped the coastline of Antarctica over 500 years ago. What is most fascinating about this map is that it shows the coastline of Antarctica without any ice. How is this possible when images of the subglacial coastline of Antarctica were only seen for the first time after the development of ground-penetrating radar in 1958? Is it possible Antarctica has not always been covered under such an ice sheet? This could be evidence that it is a possibility” he acknowledges.

« A slight pole shift or displacement of the axis of rotation of the Earth in historical times is possibly the only rational explanation that comes to mind but we definitely need more research done before we jump to any conclusion.”

What I find so incredible here is that the final two paragraphs are being advanced by Cambridge University cartographer Christopher Adam, who also appears to be accepting of the hypothesis that has been bandied about in alternative research for decades as an explanation for the 16th century Turkish admiral’s map and its highly anomalous depiction of the coastline of Antarctica without ice. The topic of axial rotational shift and even crustal displacement was first advanced by science teacher Charles Hapgood who made an extensive study of the Piri Reis map in his classic study, Maps of the Ancient Sea Kings. Hapgood subsequently wrote a book about his theory of crustal displacement, with a foreword by none other than Dr. Albert Einstein. Let it also be noted, as I pointed out in my book The Financial Vipers of Venice, that in the marginalia of the Piri Reis map, the Turkish admiral also states that Christopher Columbus had mediaeval maps of the new world, and undertook a secret journey to the New World prior to his famous “voyage of discovery” in 1492, but that’s another story.

What’s intriguing of course is to contemplate when such an event might have occurred, and my high octane intuition suggests that this might have been concurrent with some ancient catastrophe, such as blowing up a planet in a war, the shock waves of which might have concussed the Earth, tipping it slightly, and burying an entire continent under lots of water which froze. And let’s remember, in Plato’s accounting of the Atlantis myth, the “lost continent” was known for its warlike ways.

So if this is human habitation, it certainly would be a significant enough discovery to call forth the attentions of US Secretaries of State, Patriarchs of Moscow, Baltic Sea Fleets, and Apollo 11 moon astronauts, for it would be an attestation of the truthfulness – in some degree – of the Atlantis myth. Recall however, that in that myth, it is strongly suggested that Atlantis was possessed of “technologies of war” that would be of interest as well, which might rationalize the attentions of American Admirals, Nazi Party Reichsleiters and the founder of the Luftwaffe. The problem there of course, is whether they knew of such things, and if so, how, since it is buried under lots of ice, and radar tomography from satellites did not develop until after World War Two.

So if it’s a human(or other) habitation, how does one investigate? Well, one way, of course, is to drill down through the ice and carefully excavate a subterranean chamber for conventional archaeological study.

And the other way, of course, is simply to melt the ice, while calling it “climate change.”

See you on the flip side..

“There’s very little margin for error when it comes to individual photons hitting on individual fiber optics, that is why we were so surprised when we noticed these abnormal features on the lidar imagery,” explains Nathan Borrowitz, IceBridge’s project scientist and sea ice researcher with NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, Maryland.

“As of now we can only speculate as to what these features are but the launching of ICESat-2 in 2017 could lead to other major discoveries and a better understanding of Antarctica’s geomorphological features” he adds.
A human settlement buried under 2.3 km of ice

Leading archeologist, Ashoka Tripathi, of the Department of Archaeology at the University of Calcutta believes the images show clear evidence of an ancient human settlement beneath the ice sheet.

“These pictures just reflect a small portion of Antarctica’s total land mass. There are possibly many other additional sites that are covered over with ice. It just shows us how easy it is to underestimate both the size and scale of past human settlements,” says Dr Tripathi.

Remnants of a lost civilization

Historian and cartographer at the University of Cambridge, Christopher Adam, believes there might be a rationnal explanation.

The map of Turkish admiral Piri Reis in 1513 AD shows the “ice less” coastline of Antarctica

ICESat-2 (Ice, Cloud, and land Elevation Satellite 2), part of NASA’s Earth Observing System, is a planned satellite mission for measuring ice sheet mass elevation, sea ice freeboard as well as land topography and vegetation characteristics, and is set to launch in may 2017.

Sensational! Archaeologists recover 47 pieces of Orichalcum—a metal used on Atlantis

Archaeologists have discovered 47 pieces of the legendary Orichalcum Metal which is believed to have been used on Atlantis in a 2,600-year-old shipwreck.

Is this the ultimate proof Atlantis DID exist?

Some 2,600 years ago, a ship sank off the coast of Gela, to the south of modern-day Sicily. What experts found inside the wreckage has shaken the archaeological community: 47 pieces of a precious alloy that according to ancient accounts, was one of the most precious metals used in Atlantis.

According to Plato’s writings the metal—believed to be an alloy of copper, zinc and lead—was extracted and originated from Atlantis, and was used to worship Poseidon among other things.

The curious metal (Orichalcum) was first mentioned in the 7th century BC by Hesiod, and in the Homeric hymn dedicated to Aphrodite, dated to the 630s.

According to experts, the ship—which is believed to date back to the sixth century—was traveling to Gela, coming from either Greece, or somewhere in Asia Minor. The discovery was made by divers some 300 meters below the surface.

According to Sebastiano Tusa, renowned archaeologist and member of the research team, two perfectly preserved Corinthian helmets, remains of amphorae (jars), an anchor and several blisters (containers holding oils) were also found.

Plato said only gold was a more precious substance than orichalcum. Here are two of the recently discovered ingots. (Sebastiano Tusa/ Superintendency of the Sea, Sicily)

“The ship dates to the end the sixth century B.C.” It was likely caught in a sudden storm and sunk just when it was about to enter the port,” added Tusa.

“The presence of helmets and weapons aboard ships is rather common. They were used against pirate incursions,” Tusa told Seeker.com. “Another hypothesis is that they were meant to be an offer to the gods.”

This isn’t the first discovery of the legendary metal. In 2015, researchers diving near the shipwreck recovered 39 ingots of the curious metal.

Orichalcum or aurichalcum is a metal mentioned in several ancient writings, including the story of Atlantis in the Critias of Plato. Within the dialogue, Critias (460 – 403 BC) claims that orichalcum had been considered second only to gold in value and had been found and mined in many parts of Atlantis in ancient times, but that by Critias’ own time orichalcum was known only by name.

Is this the ultimate proof Atlantis DID exist? (Sebastiano Tusa, Soprintendenza del Mare-Regione Sicilia)

Furthermore, ancient texts reveal—Critias written by Plato—that the three outer walls of the Temple to Poseidon and Cleito on Atlantis were clad respectively with brass, tin, and the third outer wall, which encompassed the whole citadel, “flashed with the red light of orichalcum”.

“The waters there are a priceless mine of archaeological finds,” remarked Adriana Fresina, an archaeologist who works with Tusa.

Interestingly, Orichalcum is also mentioned in the Antiquities of the Jews – Book VIII, sect. 88 by Josephus, who stated that the vessels in the Temple of Solomon were made of orichalcum (or a bronze that was like gold in beauty).

Vimanas & The 10 Million Year Old Secret – Michael Cremo

Ancient Vimana UFO Revelations and Artifacts From a Lost Civilization

In this fascinating episode packed with exciting information, Dark Journalist Daniel Liszt interviews the influential author of Forbidden Archaeology Michael Cremo on his controversial research into the dating of human origin, ancient civilizations and the potential widespread impact of Extraterrestrial cultures on human development.

Cremo’s groundbreaking research has been featured on NBC’s Television Special ‘The Mysterious Origins of Man” and on the History Channel’s Ancient Aliens TV Series. His diligent investigation into the subject of Prehistory turned up a series of anomalies that strongly suggest a much older date for the advent of humanity, including finely manufactured spheres uncovered in South Africa that date all the way back to a staggering two billion years!

Scientific Coverup

Cremo strongly disagrees with mainstream scientific and archaeological assertions that human beings got their primitive start as cave dwellers around 200,000 B.C. and have only had relatively high culture for six thousand years. He has catalogued shocking artifacts and physical evidence for over two decades that show not only was there an advanced pre-diluvian culture that existed far before recorded history, but that it was predated by 10 million years by the legacy of a sophisticated human society. He sees a massive cover up in scientific circles as their focus has steadily moved towards a limited scientific materialism in the last two hundred years.

The UFO Enigma and Ancient Sanskrit Accounts of Vimanas

Cremo has pieced together from early Sanskrit accounts the devastating impact of a high tech flying machine that existed in antiquity called a ‘Vimana’ by the ancients. According to the Ramayana and other Sanskrit accounts, vimanas were capable of projecting themselves into multiple places at once, in what today could be described as quantum superpositions. They were thereby impossible to defend against. This fascinating flying marvel was responsible for the devastation of Dwarka, an ancient paradise that resembles Plato’s description of the legendary Atlantis. The striking similarity between modern day UFO Sightings and the detailed ancient descriptions of the Vimana lets us know that whatever the UFO Phenomena represents it has been with humanity for a very long time.

We thought New Zealand was an island nation. Scientists say it’s the tip of a ‘hidden continent.’

It’s a vast, strange land; its canyons and mountain ranges almost entirely unexplored, its creatures like something out of myth.

From what we know, it’s beautiful — stretching more than a thousand miles from Savage Seamount across Three Kings Ridge, past swamp forests and volcanoes to the southern slopes.

Pigeons feed on cabbage trees in Zealandia, whales have beaks, and peanut worms crawl above light-less abysses.

In the last fraction of its long history, a relatively small band of humans has settled Zealandia’s greatest mountain peaks, which they call the islands of New Zealand.

This place exists, though most of the 2 million square miles lie beneath the Pacific Ocean.

That shouldn’t prejudice us against its significance, scientists argue in a paper that calls Zealandia “Earth’s hidden continent.”

“The large and the obvious in natural science can be overlooked,” the researchers said in a newly published study in the Geological Society of America’s journal.

As measured by human landmarks, Zealandia encompasses New Zealand and the island of New Caledonia about 1,500 miles to the north.

It stretches beyond both and is two-thirds the size of Australia.

It would have been immediately recognized as a continent, the researchers argue, if Earth’s peaks and valleys “had first been mapped in the same way as those of Mars and Venus” — with no pesky water to obscure the truth of rocks.

“If we could pull the plug on the oceans it would be clear to everyone we have mountain chains and a big high-standing continent above the ocean crust,” lead author Nick Mortimer, a New Zealand government geologist, told Reuters.

Instead, the researchers say, Zealandia has been written off for decades “as an amalgam of continental fragments and slivers”: the wreckage of an ancient supercontinent, Gondwana, which disintegrated when dinosaurs walked the Earth.

Discoverer of the Bosnian Pyramids: I have found Tesla’s ‘TORSION FIELDS’ at the Bosnian Pyramids

Source: Ancient-Code.com
February 23, 201

Dr. Semir Osmanagić, the discoverer of the Bosnian Pyramids explains he has made another fascinating discovery which not only changes the history of the European Continent, but that of the entire planet. The discovery of Tesla’s standing waves at the top of the Bosnian Pyramid of the Sun—which are believed to travel faster than the speed of light, while not losing strength as they pass through cosmic bodies—prove the existence of something referred to as a cosmic web or cosmic internet which allow for a immediate intergalactic communication throughout the universe, writes Dr. Osmanagić.

Recorded energetic phenomena above the Pyramid of the Sun at Visoko seek a different definition of a pyramid compared to conventional, dogmatic explanations. The pyramids are energy boosters that send and receive information through the sun.

A COSMIC INTERNET?

The discovery of Tesla’s standing waves at the top of the Bosnian Pyramid of the Sun—which are believed to travel faster than the speed of light, while not losing strength as they pass through cosmic bodies—prove the existence of something referred to as a cosmic web or cosmic internet which allow for a immediate intergalactic communication throughout the universe, writes Dr. Osmanagić.

For many other researchers, among which the most prominent is Nikola Tesla, scalar waves, or standing waves, created in torsion field interaction are travelling at faster speeds than the light. It’s estimated to be 10 billion times faster speed than the light’s. Thereby, the torsion fields can move through any other cosmic body (planets, suns) without wasting energy. This means they are able to travel at great velocity, transfer information/energy, and that there’s no loss of the quality and the quantity of the information. (Source)

Ideally is to have at the both ends two producers (generators) of the energy which are mutually communicating through Tesla’s Torsion Fields (Waves). The information transfer is almost instant between two distant parts of the Cosmos, and the information doesn’t lose on its quality during the transfer. (Source)

The pyramid is the most powerful of all geometric shapes in terms of the energies. If located over the potent energy spot the pyramid becomes the energy amplifier. Under the Bosnian Pyramid of the Sun, there are iron plates (generating electromagnetic field), underground water flow (releasing negative ions), and the second one, deeper underground water flow, creates the electricity together with the one from the above. Also, we find the natural magnetism, Orgone energy.

These energy phenomena can be measured with our scientific instruments.

But, how can we measure the energy phenomena for which we haven’t yet developed the scientific instruments?

On the surface of the Bosnian Pyramid of the Sun, during archaeological excavations, we have found plenty of quartz crystals. The crystal is present in the underground tunnels as well, and probably below the pyramid.

It is known that quartz crystal receives and then amplifies energy. Cavities or underground tunnels can enhance energy.

The spiral arrangement of seven levels of tunnels inside the pyramids leads to the acceleration of energy movement and amplifies their intensity. Finnish researcher Mika Virpiranta found that 26 volcanic lines lead towards the Bosnian Pyramid of the Sun.

Furthermore, if the pyramid is located at the line that connects the two volcanoes then the structure lies on a volcanic line.

In the case of the Bosnian pyramids, as many as 15 of the 26 lines have three, four or five volcanoes in positioned in the same line.

This factor again shows the importance of the location of the pyramids in Visoko, because volcanoes are energy sources: lava, iron, crystals, and minerals writes Dr. Osmanagić.

In addition, if we observe the precise positions of the series of pyramids in Visoko (equilateral triangle between the Pyramid of the Sun, Moon, and Dragon, another triangle between Pyramid of Love, Earth and that of the Fojnica structure) and observe elements of sacred geometry (“Flower of Life, Fibonacci formula), we notice that the entire area was designed to create a very powerful energy complex that we refer to as the Bosnian valley of the pyramids.

The original boundaries is something we probably will never know.

Furthermore, the energy flow used to be much more intense, stronger in the past. Our planet was once stronger and healthier, sometime during the end of the last Ice Age, around 12,000 years ago.

“Some fifteen years ago, I wrote about the role of the ancient Maya as “cosmic timekeepers” in books and about civilization whose aim was to harmonize the frequency of our planet with that of the Sun. At that time my hypothesis was taken by the editors of Wikipedia and used as “an argument to discredit me”.—Dr. Osmanagić.

My research and arguments that the Pyramids were built worldwide, and that the oldest pyramids are also the most superior ones, has led to situations where Egyptologists have created a wall of hostility towards me.

My assertion that the Bosnian Pyramid of the Sun is the oldest pyramid in the world brought about a reaction of the most influential Egyptologist on the planet—Zahi Hawass, who has done much in order to restrict access to the world’s leading scientific TV channels.

Our evidence which points that the oldest and concrete of the highest quality on Earth can be found at the Pyramid of the Sun, and the existence of the largest networks of prehistoric tunnels has resulted in written petitions being sent to the European Archaeological Association against our research.

However, time and scientific arguments confirm that we were right and they are wrong, writes Dr. Osmanagić.

But not only are history books wrong, we are being taught wrong, or rather, programmed wrong, in all basic areas of knowledge.

Dr. Osmanagić argues that physicists, astronomers, and geologists insist that the universe was created as a result of the Big Bang and that today the universe is rapidly expanding.

Biologists continue to support Darwinism and say that life arose from inorganic matter, that evolution causes the development of living species and that man is descended from the apes.

They are wrong, indicates Dr. Osmanagić.

Life originated thanks to an intervention on our planet, species on Earth change in the long term through experiments where evolution plays a minor role, and homo sapiens is the result of genetic engineering.

And, of course, we are not the first nor the most advanced civilization in the history of the planet.
