Why Did Pope Benedict XVI Resign?

That question has been hovering in the background of European geopolitics ever since he did it, and one Italian geopolitician and strategist, Germano Dottori, thinks he has an answer, according to this article shared this week by Mr. G.P.:

https://onepeterfive.com/italian-geo-strategist-fuels-debate-over-pope-benedicts-resignation/

The essence of Signor Dottori’s argument is this:

The conflicts between the Church and the United States did not become less, even with the passing of John Paul II. They instead continued during the pontificate of Pope Ratzinger, in the course of which, what exacerbated them was not only the [policy and strategic] investment made by Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton in the political Islam of the Muslim Brotherhood during the so-called Arab Spring, but also the firm desire of Benedict XVI to achieve an historic reconciliation with the Patriarchate of Moscow [under Patriarch Kirill], the true and proper religious coronation of a geopolitical project of Euro-Russian integration, which were in his intentions strongly supported by Germany and also by Silvio Berlusconi’s Italy – but not by that more American-friendly one [Italy], which is to be recognized in Giorgio Napolitano [Italian President, 2006-2015].

How it has come to an end is well-known to everyone. The Italian and papal governments were simultaneously hit by a scandalous, coordinated, and unusually violent and unprecedented campaign, even involving more or less opaque maneuvers in the financial field, with the final effect coming to a head in November 2011 with Berlusconi’s departure from the Palazzo Chigi and, on February 10 [sic – 11], 2013, the abdication of Ratzinger. At the height of the crisis, Italy progressively saw its access to international financial markets closed, while the Institute for Religious Works (IOR) [the Vatican Bank] was temporarily cut out of the Swift 4 circuit.

Note the implied claims:

(1) the Vatican, with Germany’s blessing (Ratzinger was, after all, the first German pope in about six hundred years), was pursuing a closer relationship with Eastern Orthodoxy, principally through Patriarch Kiril III;

(2) This was apparently being done in conjunction to create a “Eurasian integration”, which apparently was emphasizing the cultural basis of that integration in a common Catholic heritage;

(3) the Vatican and Italy were both hit by “a scandalous, coordinated, and unusually violent and unprecedented campaign,” which we may assume is “code” for the pedophilia scandals rocking Ratzinger’s pontificate. Dottori is clearly suggesting this emanated from the circles of western power. (At this juncture, one has to pause, and mention another possibility: with the pedophilia scandals erupting around western leaders, and the arrests in this country and others associated with it, that possibility emerges from the fact that, a few years ago, when one said “pedophilia rings” one thought of the Vatican, and, to a lesser extent, other churches. Now, however, there has been an interesting shift of perception, for when one says “pedophilia rings” one thinks of corrupt, and largely secular, western politicians. This may indicate a covert counter-operation emanating from the Vatican.)

(4) This campaign was also coordinated with a campaign to strip the Vatican of its access to international financial markets.

We can recall much corroboration of these suggestions, in that shortly after the beginning of his pontificate, Jorge Cardinal Bergolio (Francis I) began to attempt to clean up (yet again) the operations of the Vatican Bank, even going so far as to appoint the same auditor for it as for the Bank of International Settlements and, reportedly, Lloyd’s of London. In short, Bergolio’s efforts appear to cave to the pressures being exerted by the West and the USA.

It’s that first point, however, that seems to have been much more important than meets the eye:

Here an Italian expert in geo-strategic studies thus claims that both the Italian government under Berlusconi and the papacy of Benedict XVI were toppled due to financial maneuvers that put both states in jeopardy. Alessandro Rico published, on 17 May, an article entitled “Ratzinger costretto ad abdicare dal ricatto di Obama” (“Ratzinger Forced to Abdicate Due to Obama’s Blackmail”) in the Italian newspaper La Verità – a publication which has no inclination toward traditional Catholicism at all, but, rather, sharply rebukes traditional and conservative Catholics in that same 17 May issue (as Giuseppe Nardi points out). Rico himself puts the Dottori statement in context with the 20 January 2017 Open Letter to President Trump, published by the traditional Catholic newspaper The Remnant, which called for an investigation into a possible U.S. intervention against Pope Benedict XVI. As Rico points out, Pope Benedict at the time stood in opposition to President Obama’s collaboration with the Muslim Brotherhood, especially with the pope’s Regensburg address in which he criticized Islamist fundamentalism. The U.S., as Rico along with Dottori explains, was not in favor of a papal rapprochement with the Patriarch of Moscow which could further support a European rapprochement with Russia. A partial basis for this desired rapprochement could also be a rejection of the moral relativism of the West.

When speaking about the financial pressure that was, in 2013, put on the Vatican by excluding the Papal State from the SWIFT system – which interrupted the credit card payments in the Vatican City, and thus in the Vatican museums – Rico also recalls: “Strangely, this [SWIFT] function was re-established immediately after the resignation of Benedict XVI.” (Bold-italics emphasis added)

In other words, American policy was deliberately attempting to forestall the formation of what can only be called a “Christian bloc.” If this seems farfetched, one should recall that Russia, prior to the Soviet era, played precisely this role in European and world geopolitics, as the protector of Orthodox Christians. The Vatican exercised this role through proxy states, most recently through Austria-Hungary, Italy, and various other Catholic regional powers.

“OK, so what?” one might think. “Where’s the high octane speculation?”

Well, brace yourselves, because it’s a whopper: note that the actions taken against the Vatican were (1) a pedophilia scandal and (2) a severing of access to international financial clearing in response to Ratzinger’s statements about fundamentalist Islam. (And at this juncture, please recall that Francis I has indicated that Christians do have the right of self-defense against Islamic terrorism, a point often lost in the shuffle). This suggests, as the Russians were similarly affected by threats of exclusion from SWIFT, to the point of developing their own domestic, and ultimately parallel system of international financial clearing, that the Vatican may have been attempting to do an end run around the Western Financial blackmail (denial of service, effectively, to SWIFT), and to gain access to the system(s) being built out by and in Russia. In short, this means the Vatican was attempting to gain access also to the space assets that make international clearing possible.

If this reading of the covert warfare taking place against the Vatican by Mr. Globaloney (and vice versa, if my reading of the pedophilia scandal having moved from the Vatican to western politicians is true), then what one is witnessing is a long-term strategy and goal of the Vatican, which, for the moment may be summarized in the following high octane speculation:

(1) Intermediate goal: Gain access to other systems of financial clearing that are independent of that of the West. For the moment, this means the systems being put into place by Russia and China and, to a lesser extent, existing Japanese capabilities in the Pacific (and for a historical note, do not forget that connection between Japan and the Vatican, via Emperor Hirohito who deposited some of the Golden Lily loot in the Vatican bank, according to Peggy and Sterling Seagraves in Gold Warriors);

(2) Longer term goal: use contacts thus gained to utilize (and perhaps finance) their space launch capacity to launch Vatican-owned communications satellites;

(3) Ultimate goal: build out an independent system of financial clearing by and for the Vatican and any allied churches.

If that high octane speculation is correct, then the USA and the Vatican are engaged in a covert war, just as are the USA and China and the rest of the BRICSA bloc, for those independent financial clearing systems, more than anything else, are a direct challenge to the US dollar reserve currency status.

(And as for the religious “rapprochement”, Orthodoxy’s position has always been clear, because conceptual/doctrinal content defines Orthodoxy, not institutional boundaries or adherence to supreme authorities claiming infallibility: if there is to be such an arrangement beyond mere ecumenical cooperation, then there must be a full return of Roman Catholicism to that conceptual content, and a jettisoning of all those doctrines added to Orthodoxy on the basis of papal authority alone. While this is not the place to elaborate on this, it is to be noted that the recent statements of Francis I and Kiril III focused, not on doctrinal differences and the departure of the Papacy from that tradition, but rather on areas of common cultural concern. This would seem to indicate that both churches perceive a very serious existential threat, perhaps exhibited by Benedict XVI’s remarks about Islamic fundamentalism which led, according to Dottori, to his resignation.)

There’s one more implication here: if indeed Ratzinger was forced to resign, i.e., resigned under duress, then a case might be made that the resignation is null and void… and that, of course, would be a scenario that would throw the papal church into a position it has not been in since the middle ages, and it may thus be the “high trump card” the plotters of the coup are holding over Bergolio.

Whatever one makes of these high octane speculations, this is definitely one to watch, because we have not heard the last of this story.

See you on the flip side…

Did The US Government Pressure Pope Benedict XIV To Resign?

Source: GizaDeathStar.com
Dr. Joseph P. Farrell Ph.D.
March 20, 2017

Watching the pontificate of Francis I (Jorge Cardinal Bergolio) is a little like watching an updated version of the Borgias; “Borgia 2.0” or “Borgias for the 21st century” or a television sit-com: “The Holy Father Knows Best” or a replay of “Ozzie and Harriet” only in this case, “Bennie and Frannie,” sans the occasional tune from Rickie Nelson. One has to wonder if, indeed, this Pope is even remotely Roman Catholic, and it’s not just me wondering, apparently a few cardinals and archbishops are as well.

And, if the following article which appeared on Breitbart is any indicator, they’ve taken steps to have the Trump Administration look into it (our thanks to Ms. K.B. and Mr. V.T. for sharing this story):

An Italian archbishop close to Pope Benedict XVI has claimed that the Obama administration may have been complicit in the “tremendous pressures” that led the former pope to resign in 2013.

As one might imagine, this has my high octane speculation gears working in overdrive, and there are two factors I think lurking in the background here that are essential to what may be going on. The first is the ongoing pedophilia scandal that appears to be representative of a world-wide phenomenon and network of human trafficking, pedophilia, and perhaps even human sacrifice. Allegations of such – pedophilia and sacrifice – certainly surrounded the Franklin scandal of the late 1980s and early 1990s, and were the central feature to the late Fr. Malachi Martin’s last novel, Windswept House, in which, like his earlier novel Vatican, presented some uncomfortable details in the form of fiction. Martin made no attempts to circumvent or soft-peddle the central issue that preoccupied all of his books – both fiction and non-fiction – namely, that there was a “rogue group” loose within the Roman Catholic Church involved in such activities. During the Pontificate of Benedict XVI, these rumors swirled in the air at the time of his resignation and many believed they formed a component of the pressure forcing him to resign. This article from Breitbart appears to corroborate at least some aspect of those speculations which were being discussed back then:

It is “no coincidence” that some Catholic groups “have asked President Trump to open a commission of inquiry to investigate whether the administration of Barack Obama exerted pressure on Benedict,” said Archbishop Luigi Negri in an interview Monday, citing other revelations by Wikileaks regarding efforts by the Democratic Party to sway the direction of the Catholic Church in the United States.

“It remains shrouded in mystery for now,” he said to news outlet Rimini 2.0, “but I am sure that those responsible will be found out.”

The archbishop was making reference to a letter written by a group of American Catholics to President Trump last January requesting that the administration conduct an investigation into a possible Soros-Obama-Clinton conspiracy behind the resignation of Pope Benedict.

The letter stated specifically that “we have reason to believe that a Vatican ‘regime change’ was engineered by the Obama administration.”
(Emphasis added)

Of course, “regime change” is not a new phenomenon for the Vatican, for it has both orchestrated, and been the victim of, such events in its long history. The question here is why, and the article provides a disturbing potential connection:

Approximately a year after an e-mail conversation released by Wikileaks, the authors contended, “we find that Pope Benedict XVI abdicated under highly unusual circumstances and was replaced by a pope whose apparent mission is to provide a spiritual component to the radical ideological agenda of the international left.”

In startling revelations last October, Clinton campaign chief John Podesta was found to have created phony “Catholic” organizations in order to use Church leaders to push a liberal agenda in congress and to promote the agenda of the Democratic Party.

In the midst of the hundreds of John Podesta’s emails released by Wikileaks, one contained a report by Catholics in Alliance for the Common Good, a faux Catholic association founded by Podesta to provoke a revolution in the Catholic Church.

All this raises a high octane speculation and question: Was it necessary to get rid of Benedict XVI (Joseph Cardinal Ratzinger) because that Pope was known as the “conservatives’ conservative”, particularly in matters such as the Roman Church’s steadfast opposition to abortion, a “right” with which the Democratic Party and the left in general has become identified? Or was it because, in dealing with the Church’s own internal problems with the pedophilia problem, that Pope Benedict was gaining a clear picture of the way the networks – both within and without the Church – operated? Or was it some combination of both?

This brings us to the second factor that might be operative: the Vatican bank, the problems with which first surfaced in a major way under Benedict’s (Ratzinger’s) mentor, Pope John-Paul II. It will be recalled that John-Paul II (Karol Cardinal Wojtyla) took over from the short-lived Pope John-Paul I(Albino Cardinal Luciani, former Patriarch Archbishop of Venice). Luciani, in his turn, had been strongly rumored to be investigating the corruption at the Vatican Bank, and the inroads of Masonry into the Roman Curia by elements of the notorious Loge Propaganda Due, led by Italian Freemason and political wheeler-dealer and definitely Fascist-leaning Licio Gelli. Notably, when the Italian government shut down P-2, Gelli fled to (you guessed it) Argentina. John-Paul II became Pope, and his personal security chief, American Archbishop Paul Marcinkus took over the Vatican bank, and for all intentions and purposes, the bank returned to its “normal operations” which, as Vatican bank-watchers have often alleged, included money laundering and acting as a clearing house for all manner of transactions many wished to keep quiet. Francis enters the picture here because as I noted some time ago, he determined to clean out the bank and make it “compliant” with international banking standards (and we all know how high those are!) by appointing an accounting firm as auditor which is the same auditor of record for the Bank of International Settlements and Lloyd’s of London, among others.

Throw in the Obama-Soros-Clinton ne’er-do-wells, and one has a very murky list indeed, one which, somehow, touches upon or includes:

1) pedophilia and human trafficking rings;

2) an attempt at a radicalization of the Roman Church via Marxist economic “thinking” in its “Catholic” manifestation (liberation theology, a hallmark of many in the Jesuit order, incidentally);

3) A Jesuit Pope from Argentina (which is the country Licio Gelli fled to), who replaced

4) A German Pope who was the “brain trust” of the previous Pope, and who was embroiled in the pedophilia scandal;

5) The Vatican Bank, over which an auditor has been appointed which was also auditor for the Bank of International Settlements with its own dirty past of dealings with – you guessed it – Nazis;

6) allegations of “regime change” being leveled at the Obama-Clinton-Soros networks; and last but not least,

7) suspicions about the current Pope’s actual commitments to Roman Catholic orthodoxy.

So where’s the high octane speculation in all this? I cannot help but think that the late Fr. Martin may have been correct about the existence of a rogue group within the Vatican, for the “factional infighting” between this group and those more committed to Roman Catholic orthodoxy appears to have been  going on at least since John-Paul I, who was apparently trying to do something about the mess when he was found dead in his bedchamber under circumstances…

One of the big headwinds for Trump is the bond market and rising interest rates. Financial advisor Catherine Austin Fitts contends, “The long term bull market in bonds is at an end, and rates are going to rise and continue to rise as they should. Savers, pension funds and insurance companies are not getting a return on their capital. To me, this is a welcome. If you are holding a big bond portfolio, they are going to be down, but interest rates are going to rise and the party is over. We have a President who understands the cost of capital and is screaming that it is no longer zero. To a certain extent, you are watching all of Washington blame Trump for the end of the debt birth model. It’s not his fault. He’s just trying to get the culture to switch to reflect something to where the future is going.”

Fitts, who has managed hundreds of billions of dollars of assets as Assistant Secretary of Housing in the Bush Administration (41), says the stock market could blow up to a “Dow of 30,000 or crash down to 10,000.” Fitts tells all her clients to hedge for any scenario and “hold a core position in gold.”

Brexit, Britain, & A Renewed Commonwealth: Yes, But What’s The…

Source: GizaDeathStar.com
Dr. Joseph P. Farrell Ph.D.
March 5, 2017

I received two articles this week having to do with Great Britain and the Commonwealth that caught my attention. The first from Ms. K.M., and the second from Mr. S.D. Before we get to those, however, I want to remind people of a bit of high octane speculation that I began to advance shortly before the BREXIT referendum in the United Kingdom. During the campaign prior to that referendum, I observed a number of things that convinced me that there was a certain segment of the British oligarchy that was profoundly unhappy with two things: (1) the growing bureaucratic tyranny of the Brussels-Berlin E.U., and its corollary, discontent in certain segments of the British population – that part of the population with a shred of sanity left – over the growing Islamicization of their country; and, (2) the growing dissatisfaction with the “unipolar world” of Mr. Globaloney. There were, I argued, several signals that indicated “something was afoot” behind the scenes in the British deep state or oligarchy, and chief among these things were three indicators – at least to me and a few others – that the polls prior to BREXIT, which showed the “remain” forces leading – might have been deliberately concocted. By my hack-from-South Dakota lights, there were three signals that spoke very loudly:

(1) The state visit of Mr. Xi Jinping to that nation;

(2) Great Britain’s entry as a board member to the Chinese Asia Infrastructure Development Bank, a move not joined by only two nations, the USA and Japan; and,

(3) The dinner at the Palace with Queen Elizabeth II and then Prime Minister David Cameron’s Vice Premier, during which, according to the British tabloids, the Queen expressed the Royal Displeasure at the way things were proceeding with the European Union.  Of course, interpreting stories coming from the Crown is always hazardous, since British monarchs have, in the last two centuries, exercised their very real and considerable power very quietly. The Crown speaks its own special variety of the “dialect of power” that Vatican watches know as “romanita“.  In this case, the Queen expressed that Royal Displeasure in the form of asking the Vice Premier (so the story went) to name three benefits Britain accrued from membership in the E.U.  It could therefore be argued that Her Majesty was simply asking questions, not expressing “the Royal Displeasure.” But in the context of the other two events named above,  it seemed likely to me at the time. In terms of the logic of the situation, one can perhaps understand why, for from the royal point of view, the income of the civil list might conceivably be a target for the Brussels bureaucrats, M. Jean-Claude Juncker, faithful minion and lackey to Mad Madam Merkel.

The BREXIT happened, and I argued that the next step for Great Britain – a logical and natural one – would be to revive the soft-power culture card of the British Commonwealth. That, indeed, appears to be happening, for as readers of this website are aware, Britain has extended the idea of making the United States an associate member, and the Trump Administration appears to be listening.

From the geopolitical point of view, the move makes sense, for India, a principal member of the BRICSA bloc (Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa), would be a crack in the emerging Eurasian dike, and with British membership in China’s Asia Infrastructure Bank, Britain has carefully positioned itself as a go-between between the West and that bloc, and that during a time when Brazil’s participation has been severely diminished due to the overthrow of Dilma Rouseff as that nation’s president.

Now there’s this confirmation in the article shared by Ms. K.M.:

A Future of the English-Speaking People

Notably the article appeared in the US magazine Foreign Affairs, the darling of the Council on Foreign Relations, long known to be the “official organ” of the Rockefailure interests, as the Economist is to that of the Rottenchilds. This article, notably, stresses the very same soft power card:

Legal systems of Common Law, a relentless defense of democratic principles, English as first language, common business practices, and traditional support for free trade are the glue that holds together countries that are geographically so distant. Cultural ties lower transaction costs between countries and foster trust. No wonder that, in making foreign direct investments, the United States shows a strong preference for Anglo-Saxon countries, with about 23 percent of total American foreign direct investment going to Australia, Canada, New Zealand, and the United Kingdom.

In finance, technology, science, and trade, the Anglosphere already plays a dominant role, albeit in an informal way. But there are also formal means of cooperation, including the Five Eyes intelligence-sharing group; the Air and Space Interoperability Council, which aims to make members’ defense systems interoperable; and the Rhodes Scholarship, which brings students from around the world to study at Oxford University. More recently, New Zealand has offered to send London its top trade negotiators to augment the British civil service as it prepares to renegotiate hundreds of trade agreements with the rest of the world. And a recent poll found overwhelming support within Australia, Canada, New Zealand, and the United Kingdom for granting nationals reciprocal rights to live and work freely among the four countries.

And notably, the CFR article also views the Commonwealth-Anglo-Sphere “revival” in terms very different from the top-down centralizing and federalizing experiment of the E.U. as a model for a multi-polar world, and it does so without nary a peep of protest, indicating that at least certain factions within Mr. Globaloney’s house realize that a different tack is needed from the vowel-impaired unipolar American empire visions of Mr. Zbgnw Brzznsk:

To be sure, the Anglosphere would never be a European Union among English-speaking nations. After all, it would be the by-product of a time when states seek to regain full sovereignty, cooperating when interests coincide but competing when they diverge. The institutions of the Anglosphere would be open and not exclusive, allowing each nation to pursue its regional goals independently. So, for instance, Australia would be free to work on trade relationships with its Asian partners after Trump has dismissed the Trans Pacific Partnership. London, meanwhile, would be free to entertain post-exit relations with Europe.

The article goes on to say that the UK and US will retain NATO as their preferred alliance structure. The unspoken factor here is not Russia; it’s Germany, for NATO serves – to borrow the observations of Mr. Brzznsk – as much as a check on potential German re-militarization as it does on ostensible Russian ambitions. My prediction? Germany will be forced to remilitarize rather heavily, regardless of what NATO does or does not do, and there will thus be pressure on NATO’s structure to be “revised.”

But any revival of the Commonwealth, in the form I and now the CFR article has suggested, will require a “project” sufficiently large to bring together the Commonwealth. And for that, we’ll have to wait until tomorrow.

Dr. Joseph P. Farrell: …And Yet ANOTHER Dead Russian Ambassador…

Source: GizaDeathStar.com
Dr. Joseph P. Farrell
January 18, 2017

Today’s blog is, unusually, about a short article, almost totally bereft of any information to blog about, that was shared by Mr. V.T.  Right off the bat, I have to mention a caveat here: I don’t know of any attention to this story elsewhere except the source of the article, the U.K.’s Daily Mail. Usually on a story like this, especially when I have blogged previously on the assassination of the Russian Ambassador to Turkey, Mr. Andrei Karlov, and its occurrence in a context of other suspicious activity including Mr. Obama’s “retaliation” remarks about Russia, the death of the NATO auditor general, M. Yves Chandellon, I would receive several versions of this story from readers.

And there’s one other caveat that I must mention, but that I must mention after linking the article, for it forms part of my high octane speculation:

Top Russian diplomat is found dead in his apartment in Athens weeks after ambassador was shot dead in Turkey

Now, if you read this article closely, I suspect a few glaring contradictions became immediately apparent:

1) The article states that initial examination of Mr. Malanin’s body and apartment showed no signs of foul play or forced entry. In other words,  he died of as yet unknown “natural causes.”

2) Yet, earlier in the article we’re told that police homicide investigators were investigating.

But wait a minute… the article also notes that Mr. Malanin’s apartment was located in a building owned by the Russian embassy. Now, this may not exactly make it sovereign Russian territory, but it does raise the prospect that Russia under normal circumstances might not be too keen on allowing the Greek police homicide investigators access to the apartment, much less allow Greek coroners access to their diplomat’s body.  This isn’t exactly a “contradiction”, but it’s at the very least a curiosity.

The contradiction of course is in the statements that there’s no evidence of foul play, and yet that homicide investigators are involved. While I know nothing of Greek law, it may be the case that the death of any foreign official or leader on Greek territory may require such a response, and I wouldn’t be at all surprised that it did. So how is this a contradiction? Here’s where that “one other caveat” comes in, because a search on RT‘s website turned up no stories, announcements, or even short obituary notice on the death of the consular official, Mr. Andrei Malanin. Nothing. Nadda. Nichts.

One would expect something, even if only a short announcement of Mr. Malanin’s death followed by a bland statement that it is being investigated by Greek officials, perhaps in conjunction with Russian authorities, the usual boilerplate.

So my high octane speculation of the day is…

The Russian Hacking Meme: Trump & A Coming Showdown With The CIA?

Source: GizaDeathStar.com
Dr. Joseph P. Farrell PhD
January 7, 2017

In the last two News and Views from the Nefarium I’ve been concentrating not only on the geopolitical realignments that the coming year(s) portend, but also on the international and domestic realignments that are concomitant with them, including what I have been calling “international mafia wars,” as the neo-con globalist-Atlanticist factions within various great powers attempt to hold on to power and chorale and channel their unanticipated opposition into policies acceptable to them. In that  vein, consider the following stories shared by various readers here:

Trump on Alleged Russian Hacking: I know things others don’t

As this RT article citing Sean Spicer points out, the Russian hacking meme has been getting all the attention – no doubt in part in an attempt to de-legitimize the election results – while Chinese hacking has been downplayed, if it is mentioned at all:

Political retribution? Trump press sec questions Russia sanctions, brings up unanswered ‘China hack’

And finally, these articles from our friends at  The Daily Bell about a possible looming battle between the incoming Trump administration and the CIA:

Supposed Russian Hack Further Illustrates the Divide Between CIA and Trump

http://www.thedailybell.com/news-analysis/supposed-russian-hack-further-illustrates-the-divide-between-cia-and-trump/embed/#?secret=5OOGExhWeM

A similar story is being reported by Zero Hedge:

Trump Is Working On A Plan To Restructure, Pare Back The CIA And America’s Top Spy Agency

And finally, this find, by one alert reader of this website:

US Govt Data Shows Russia Used Outdated Ukrainian PHP Malware

https://www.wordfence.com/blog/2016/12/russia-malware-ip-hack/embed/#?secret=irF84cJ0qg

Note the conclusion of the last article:

The IP addresses that DHS provided may have been used for an attack by a state actor like Russia. But they don’t appear to provide any association with Russia. They are probably used by a wide range of other malicious actors, especially the 15% of IP addresses that are Tor exit nodes.

The malware sample is old, widely used and appears to be Ukrainian. It has no apparent relationship with Russian intelligence and it would be an indicator of compromise for any website.

The relationship of the malware sample, originating from the Ukraine, raises unpleasant but necessary questions: since it it widely known that the USA was a main sponsor of the events in the Ukraine that overthrew a legitimate (if corrupt) government with a new (and even more corrupt) government. That question is rather obvious: could the entire hacking meme have been an attempt at a “cyber false flag” originating in the West to embarrass Russia? Possibly, but here our criticism of the hacking meme and a Russian origin for the hacking, works in reverse: if the Russians were unlikely to have used such a clumsy method, perhaps the West would be to. And as the conclusions point out, the mere use of addresses in Russia does not, as any hacker knows, mean that Russia is the one using them. In effect, it proves nothing.  And we must hold out the possibility of non-state actors, and such a possibility would fit well with my “emergent international Mafia wars” hypothesis, as factions of Globaloneyists and the fascist sympathizers in various nations’ deep states close ranks.

In my high octane speculation of the day, it appears that what is looming here is a showdown between Mr. Trump and his deep state supporters, and the neo-con factions within the American intelligence community, represented by the CIA (which, let it be noted, is not a monolithic anti-Trump agency either, if one takes the pre-election revelations of Dr. Steve Pieczenik at face value). The Daily Bell suggests this looking showdown:

It seems obvious at this point that the CIA and Trump have entirely different positions when it comes to Russian maliciousness, which Trump downplays while the CIA works to advertise it.

But the issue is even more serious than that.

The larger issue is one we’ve been talking about for 15 years or more. The CIA is accountable to overseas banking interests in the City of London, not to American intelligence operations. The latter accountability is just a smokescreen.

The split has now become public knowledge and Trump is being directly threatened as a result.

Such statements strongly imply a showdown is looming, and give even more credence to those stories that Mr. Trump has retained his private security for protection, and of course, they give credence to those rumors that perhaps even Russian speznaz units are running security interference for Mr. Trump without his knowledge or involvement. If so, then this means that Mr. Trump is very aware of the power blocs aligned domestically against him, and give strong support to those rumors that he, like Mr. Kennedy, may be planning to reign in the agency. Unlike Mr. Kennedy, it appears that Mr. Trump is not so naive to believe he can do so without his own private and trusted security.

Time of course, will tell, and this is definitely a case of “you tell me.”

See you on the flip side.

A few days ago I blogged about an article from Israel which cited Russian sources that believe the crash of its airliner at Sochi last Christmas was a deliberate take down brought about by some sort of special “radio” means. Before you dismiss that idea entirely, consider this story shared by Mr. J.H.:

Boeing unveils electromagnetic pulse weapon

Granted, this story appeared in 2015, but in the context of my speculations about a new “international Mafia War” hypothesis that I advanced in last year’s Dec 29th News and Views from the Nefarium and this week’s earlier speculations regarding the crash of the Russian Tu-154 outside of Sochi, this is a story worth revisiting here. Consider the implications of the following statements in the article:

The weapon in question: Boeing’s “CHAMP,” short for Counter-electronics High-powered Microwave Advanced Missile Project. It’s essentially the old nuclear electromagnetic pulse weapon that we used to worry so much about — but without the nuclear part. CHAMP carries a small generator that emits microwaves to fry electronics with pinpoint accuracy. It targets not nations or cities but individual buildings, blacking out their electronics rather than blowing up physical targets (or people).

What makes CHAMP even more interesting is that, unlike a nuclear electromagnetic pulse weapon, which fires once, blacking out entire nation-states, CHAMP can fire multiple times, pinpointing and blacking out only essential targets. This would permit, for example, taking down radar defenses in a hostile state while saving the electrical grid that supports the civilian population. In a 2012 test flight in Utah, a single CHAMP was reported to have blacked out seven separate targets in succession, in one single mission.

And then there’s this even more relevant admission:

Even back then, a Boeing representative was able to boast: “We hit every target we wanted to,” predicting further that “in the near future, this technology may be used to render an enemy’s electronic and data systems useless even before the first troops or aircraft arrive.” Four years later, that future has arrived. Air Force Research Laboratory commander Maj. Gen. Tom Masiello says CHAMP is “an operational system already in our tactical air force.”

It takes little imagination to envision that this technology could be mounted on almost anything, from drones, to ships, trucks or vans, and so on, and even in manueuverable space satellites, and that it could be modified to track and target moving targets, such as aircraft.

All of this raises the possibility that those Russian sources speculating that their aircraft was brought down by “radio” means – i.e., something operating in the microwave frequency range of the spectrum – are in all likelihood basing their analysis in part on a knowledge of American electromagnetic weaponry capabilities. In other words, the article raises the possibility of a deliberate downing of the Russian aircraft out of the range of fiction and speculation into a very real world possibility. Similarly, it suggests a similar technological capability on Russia’s part may lie behind the USS Donald Cook incident.

If my ‘International Mafia Wars” scenario be true, then one may also expect that certain “extra-national” players may have a similar capability, and this means that…

Another Look At Supreme Court Justice Scalia’s Death

athink

Jon Rappoport
January 3, 2017

I’m taking another look because I have a new statement about a related case: Melaney Parker, a woman found dead on the railroad tracks in Marfa, Texas, in 2013, after a train hit her.

The same judge who inexplicably decided Scalia needed no autopsy, after he died in Texas, in 2016, came to the same conclusion in the Melaney Parker case.

That Texas judge is Cinderela Guevara.

Heavy.com summarizes the questions surrounding the 2013 death of Melaney Parker and Guevara’s role:

“Liz Parker, Melaney’s mom, questioned how Guevara handled the investigation of her daughter’s death, The Daily Kos reported. Melaney was hit by a Union Pacific Railroad train and, Liz wrote, a Union Pacific representative told her that it appeared that her body had been placed on the tracks while she was unconscious. Liz asked the Justice of the Peace and the Sheriff to open the case as a homicide investigation, but they would not. Guevara, who was a Justice of the Peace at the time, did not order a rape kit or an autopsy, Liz wrote, because a doctor at the scene said the cause of death was obvious.”

“Liz later wrote a letter to the editor, published in Big Bend Now, in which she said that Guevara had asked for God to give her an answer [!] about whether Melaney’s death was suicide. Liz wrote that Guevara told her: ‘Yes, this was a tragedy, but the true tragedy was that she died without accepting Jesus Christ as her savior’.” [!!]

“Big Bend Now also published a story about the controversial investigation. Melaney’s cousin, Aspen Parker, wrote a letter to Fox News in 2013 saying that Guevara’s cause of death ruling mentioned that Melaney had submitted a letter of resignation to her employers before her death. Aspen wrote that he called Melaney’s employers and they said that wasn’t true.”

The death of Melaney Parker sounds like a case begging to be reopened. I now have a new statement on it.

According to someone with knowledge of the investigation (or non-investigation), the crime scene was a mess. The day after the police initially visited it, Melaney Parker’s eyeglasses were still there. They hadn’t been picked up as evidence.

Pieces of Parker’s flesh were there as well. The engineer of the train that hit Parker said Parker had been positioned with one arm above her head, which suggested she might have been killed somewhere else and then dragged to the railroad tracks.

After toxicology tests were completed, Parker’s remains were cremated without her family’s permission.

If all this is true, Judge Guevara’s decision to skip an autopsy and accept the ruling of suicide is even more suspect.

And then three years later, when Justice Scalia dies, Guevara issues the same long-distance ruling, on the phone. No autopsy necessary.

Here is what I originally wrote about Scalia’s death. It’s extensive. Six articles. Some of the information overlaps:

ONE: “’Associate Justice Antonin Scalia was the senior member of the U. S. Supreme Court and one of the 10 most important public servants in the country. For better or worse over the course of his 29 years on the Court, he was arguably the most influential person in America’.” Eric Mink, Huffington Post, 2/17.

We start here—from the NY Post:

“Lethal poisoning could have left Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia’s body in virtually the same condition in which it was found, a top forensic pathologist told The Post on Wednesday.

“’It would look like he’s asleep. It [poisoning] doesn’t show anything on the body,’ said Dr. Michael Baden, who spent 25 years in the city’s chief Medical Examiner’s Office.

“Still, Baden stressed that natural causes was a plausible explanation.”

However, the official pronouncement of natural causes carries a burden with it. The burden of some semblance of proof. In this case, there was none.

And if you think “none” should be SOP in the case of a US Supreme Court Justice, you need to think again.

Judge Cinderela Guevara, miles away from Scalia’s body, sitting on the phone, rendered the judgment of natural causes after talking with marshals, none of whom had forensic training; and after talking with Scalia’s doctor, who was a few thousand miles from the Texas ranch where Scalia died.

Apparently, Scalia’s doctor told Judge Guevara that Scalia had a heart condition. Yes? And? This is proof a US Supreme Court Justice died of a heart attack?

Guevara, like a true bumbling amateur (or was something more ominous going on here?), decided no autopsy of the body was necessary. She decided she was too busy (doing what?) to climb in her car and drive to the ranch, to oversee the situation and talk to people at the scene.

So she said, on the phone, “Natural causes. No autopsy.”

In the case of a US Supreme Court Justice. In the biggest moment of Judge Guevara’s professional life.

And the Department of Justice, the FBI, the President, and all the members of US Congress immediately bought it.

No objections. No questions. No outrage.

Just the silence of the lambs.

In a city where blabbermouths never stop talking, suddenly—silence.

Paralysis.

And thereafter: no chain of custody for bodily evidence.

The body of a US Supreme Court Justice wasn’t put on a plane, from the mile-long airstrip at Cibolo Ranch, under supervision, and flown back immediately to Washington DC for analysis. No.

Instead, it was driven to the Sunset Funeral Home in El Paso, 230 miles from the Ranch. It could have been driven 65 miles to the Alpine Memorial Funeral Home in Alpine, but it wasn’t.

At the Sunset Funeral Home in El Paso, it was promptly embalmed—ruling out the possibility of a conventional autopsy. Even then, forensic pathologist Michael Baden states, toxicology tests could be done by sophisticated analysis. According to Wayne Madsen, reporting for Infowars, no bodily fluids were collected at the funeral home for later analysis.

Roughly 10 hours after the embalming, Scalia’s body was loaded on a plane and flown to Virginia, where Scalia’s family lives.

But “most people think Scalia died of natural causes.” That argument, for impaired minds, carries the day. Nothing more to see, nothing more to know.

“Old man, in ill-health, heart condition. He dies. What else could it possibly be? Natural causes.”

As reported by Eric Mink at the Huffington Post (2/17), in an excellent piece, there were 35-40 guests at the Cibolo Ranch on the weekend Scalia died. Who were they? Was this merely a quail-hunting outing? Or was it another kind of get-together?

No word. Silence. Why haven’t any of those guests spoken to the press? Do they know something that would shed a different light on the official story? Are they afraid? Did someone at the federal level throw a blanket over them?

Judge Cinderela Guevara spoke to a lawyer representing the Scalia family. He said the family didn’t want an autopsy. Who is he? Why hasn’t his name surfaced? Since when is a client’s lawyer’s name a secret?

Scalia traveled to the ranch with a friend. No one is saying who the friend is. That’s also a state secret?

Does the Cibolo Ranch have medical personnel on staff? If so, were any of them called when Scalia was discovered dead in his room?

The official narrative is: old man, long-time public servant, dies peacefully in his sleep of natural causes. This is the thin gloss that prevents any Washington politician with clout from demanding an investigation? This quiets and paralyzes the entire federal establishment, including eight Justices of the Supreme Court?

Cowards and lambs.

Not an ounce of conscience among them.

Neutered.

And/or told to stay silent.

In the wake of this titanic silence, the narrative is quickly and expertly shifted to the question of who will replace Scalia on the bench. That’s the certified subject of chatter. Should Obama appoint a nominee, or should nomination wait for the next President? What is the rule? The Republicans cross swords with the Democrats. Precedents are cited. The man isn’t in his grave, and the hangars-on and petty power players are arguing over his successor. It’s a B movie. Pundits prepare talking points, clean their suits, see their hair stylists, and sidle into their minutes of face time on news shows. The shows deliver filler between commercials.

This is the wet concrete that sets over the death of a US Supreme Court Justice.

The one man who could have swept aside all objections, and ordered an investigation, visits the flag-covered casket in the Great Hall of the Supreme Court, stands before it for 30 seconds, moves to a painted portrait of the deceased Justice, lingers there for one minute, and then goes home, to the Oval Office, to vet nominees, a herculean task that will unfortunately prevent him from attending the funeral.

Omerta.

TWO: Four days before he died, Supreme Court Justice Scalia voted to stall Obama’s plan to force drastic EPA climate-change rules on the American economy. The vote was 5-4.

With Scalia now gone, the vote would be 4-4.

With a new Obama Supreme Court appointee, if Obama could ram his choice through, the vote would be 5-4 in the President’s favor. Ditto, if the next President shares Obama’s position. And the climate-change agenda would roll ahead.

We’re not talking about small climate-change rules. We’re talking about the Big Ones.

And note: such rules could very well dovetail with the Brave New World spelled out in the upcoming TPP (the Trans-Pacific Partnership).

It’s a wedge formation, a squeeze play, a pincer movement featuring new EPA climate-change regulations on one side, and new draconian possibilities embedded in the TPP.

If Scalia was murdered, the above agenda was sufficient reason, because the climate agenda has the force to transform life on the planet.

If Scalia’s murder were a movie, he would have been told, as a warning: “You have no idea how big this thing is; you really don’t understand the forces you’re messing with.”

Of course, most Americans don’t believe a political murder along this line could happen in real life. They can only accept it in a movie, where it makes perfect sense. That tells you something about the schizoid nature of the public mind:

Adrenaline-driven in front of a screen; tranquilized and programmed to be passive and accepting of recognized authority, otherwise.

“Don’t be silly. Scalia, murdered, and murdered for that reason? It couldn’t happen. That’s so…barbaric. We’re civilized.” That opinion and $6 will get you a rainbow smoothie.

Obama’s climate-change plan uses the EPA to act out international agreements signed at the recent Paris summit. But in order to, yes, scam these agreements into force in the US, the EPA has to stretch and bend and distort already-existing US law. And it has done so.

However, a number of states have sued to stop the EPA, which wants to make all states cut CO2 emissions from electrical power production by 32% in the next 15 years. Aimed mainly at coal-burning plants, these regulations would create deep reductions in the overall US energy supply and output—a primary mission of the economy-wrecking Rockefeller Globalists.

The US Supreme Court, four days before Scalia’s death, with his vote, declared a narrow 5-4 halt to the Obama plan, pending a lower-court decision on the issue. The 5-4 vote didn’t knock out the plan, but it stalled it. And if Scalia had stayed alive, his vote going forward on the Obama plan could have remained crucial.

The pending TPP, another Globalist trade treaty, contains a section that allows endless changes and additions in the text as years pass. In other words, the passion for cutting energy production for the US, and the rest of the planet, can easily be folded into the treaty.

The TPP also reveals a cynical attitude toward the “humanitarian goal of saving the planet from CO2 death.” Major corporations that burn coal and employ other ways of releasing CO2 can relocate to far-off lands (e.g., Vietnam) and spew CO2 to their hearts’ content, without messy environmental controls.

In other words, the true underlying Globalist scheme, vis-à-vis climate change has nothing to do with messianic rescue: it has to do with lowering energy production.

The New “Mafia Wars”? Of Missing Greek Ambassadors,…

Source: GizaDeathStar.com
Dr. Joseph P. Farrell
January 2, 2017

Talk about a strange end to 2016, and a bizarre way to begin 2017! What am I talking about? Well, I’m talking about charred Greek ambassadors to Brazil, Russians expelled by President Obama in retaliation for the alleged Russian hacking of American elections, rumors of GRU speznaz running interference to protect Donald Trump (yes, you read that correctly!), and a Vladimir Putin who refused to expel American diplomats in response to the recent American expulsion of Russian diplomats. Here are those stories, shared by many readers here over the past few days:

Body found in charred car in Rio de Janeiro believed to be missing Greek ambassador – report

John McAfee: I can guarantee you it was NOT the Russians

Putin Stunner: “We Will Not Expel Anyone; We Refuse To Sink To ‘Kitchen’ Diplomacy”

Are Russian Spetsnaz GRU Operators Securing Donald Trump From Khazarian Assassins?

Inside the Ultra-Elite Special Forces of the Russian Military (Fantastic Interview)

First, the Greek ambassador to Brazil. According to the RT article, Mr. Kyriakos Amiridis went missing on the Monday prior to this past weekend, that is to say, on Monday, Dec. 26th, in Brazil. The details are rather grizzly:

Brazilian police believe a body found inside a burned-out car in Rio de Janeiro is that of Greek Ambassador Kyriakos Amiridis, according to Globo News. The ambassador went missing on Monday evening.

The car’s license plates match those of Amiridis’ rental vehicle, according to Globo, which showed pictures of the charred car underneath an overpass in the Nova Iguacu neighborhood where Amiridis went missing.

The 59-year-old ambassador was last seen on Monday evening, after leaving the home of his Brazilian wife’s friends in the poor and violent Rio suburb, police said on Thursday.

And this, for now, is being “explained” as a simple crime of violence because the discovery was made near a violent district of Rio de Janeiro:

Rio suffers from a high crime rate, and violent crime is not uncommon. Rio state registered 4,572 homicides through the end of November 2016, representing a 19.7 percent increase from 2015, according to the Public Security Institute.

Possible? Certainly, except in a world where Russian ambassadors are being murdered within a mere three days of US warnings about “retaliations” against Russia for its alleged hacking, I tend to think someone is “cleaning house”, and that “wet works” are the order of the day. Suspiciously, the RT article points out that Mr. Amiridis was also the Greek ambassador to Libya from 2012-2016, which might have given Mr. Amiridis some sort of unique insight or understanding of the tragic incidents around the Benghazi “what-difference-does-it-make?” attacks:

Iguacu assumed his post in Brasilia earlier this year, having previously served as Greece’s consul-general in Rio from 2001 to 2004. He also served as Greece’s ambassador to Libya from 2012 to 2016.

Note the term “Iguacu” here, which may be a misprint in the RT article, since a CBS article reporting on the event states that this is a region in Rio de Janeiro (See: Cops: Greece’s ambassador to Brazil believed killed near Rio; wife a suspect).

Of course in the CBS version, the ambassador’s wife is a suspect because she allegedly was having an affair with a Brazilian police officer, a fact unmentioned in the RT article. However, on the other foot, the CBS article does mention Mr. Amiridis’ appointment to Libya, but unlike the RT article, does not mention when Mr. Amiridis was there.

In short, my suspicion meter is registering in the orange-to-red zone on this one due to that Libya connection and its rather obvious set of implications.

Then we have the strange speculations from the Saker regarding GRU speznaz running interference on potential threats to Mr. Trump. This one grabbed my attention simply because the Saker’s website is, in my estimation, one of the few websites out there that gets what has been going on in Russia vis-a-vis the post-Soviet struggle between the “Atlanticists” in Russia, i.e., the globaloney crowd, and the more “nationalist” pro-Russian culture and sovereignty faction represented by Mr. Putin and his close advisors. This speculation is so strange it’s worth pondering in some detail. According to the speculation in the first speznaz article, we have the following stated in the original interview with the Saker:

Originally the main operational concept of the Special Forces was to execute our missions on the territory of the enemy. Now there are domestic Spetsnaz and all sorts of various Spetsnaz delegations that were not trained for foreign incursions like the original GRU Spetsnaz.

When we were trained all GRU Spetsnaz were educated in one or more several key languages – Farsi, Mandarin, English, Arabic, French. Now they learn a greater variety of languages. For example during the Afghan War our Spetsnaz were fluent in various local dialects and after this experience this practice was expanded.

This leads to the following speculation, based upon an alleged relationship between various private western security firms and the speznaz units:

If these special operators are indeed fluent in English, and can be embedded in any private security companies duly registered in the US, then it wouldn’t be too farfetched indeed if seven security private companies are now reportedly guarding the incoming US president, some if not all of which are compose of 370 elite troops from Russia, among others.

Said Russian Special Forces were flown in through the Monarch Air Group by the privately owned security firm, RSB-Group, in coordination with a Delaware registered company.

The detail of this relationship is then provided:

In March 2012 Russian PMS RSB-Group has signed an exclusive dealer agreement with a large corporation ULTRA ELECTRONICS USSI for an exclusive supplying and realization of special acoustic hailing devices of non-lethal action HyperSpike; according to the agreement we can for a dealer network all over former USSR countries and in Sri Lanka. Company ULTRA ELECTRONICS USSI stands as a largest producer of special equipment supplying the goods to the Ministry of Defense of USA, USA coastal guard’s offices, SWAT special task forces, customs and boarder control offices of USA and Royal fleet of Great Britain, and also to the French army.

So the bottom line is, could Russian special forces possibly be running interference and providing security to the President-elect? Answer, yes. We he know about it? Answer, possibly yes, and possibly no. The “no” answer is more likely, since it would give him that all-important “plausible deniability”. Would the Russians do such a thing? In my high octane speculative opinion, the answer is not only yes, but it is far more likely they would do that, than attempt to hack American elections (which in any case, as the McAfee article points out, they wouldn’t have done in such a clumsy fashion). The reason they would be more likely to do so? Trump, for Russia, represents at worst a question mark, and at best a potential change in policy to Russia from the anti-Russia hysteria and baiting we’ve seen for the past eight years. His nomination of Tillerson to the State Department is a strong suggestion that Mr. Trump wants to move away from these confrontational policies to a more positive and practical working relationship. After all, Mr. Tillerson is rumored to be, if not a close friend of Mr. Putin, then at least friendly toward him.

Then we have the expulsion of Russian diplomats by Mr. Obama, and Mr. Putin’s refusal to do the same. For the record, I have no doubt Russian “diplomats” have been spying. This is par for the course and not unusual. All embassies of everyone everywhere conduct espionage activities. Therefore, in all likelihood the FBI had these people under surveillance for a long time. Mr. Obama simply chose the moment most condign to suit a political agenda, which is to be expected also. What is unusual about all this is Mr. Putin’s response: he’s not expelling anybody, and that’s a signal that that he knows, or at least expects, a rather dramatic change of course in the near future (say, around Jan. 20th this year).

So what does all this add up to? What’s my high octane speculation of the day (and perhaps, for the next few years) here? As I pointed out in my last News and Views from the Nefarium of Dec. 29, 2016, I suspect what we’re seeing are little signs, perhaps, of a full scale international “mafia war” being waged by the globaloney-neo-con factions within each country, and the more “nationalist multi-polar” factions within each. This is a new kind of covert war, in which formerly “safe” targets – such as ambassadors, and ultimately military and intelligence figures – are now fair game. There’s two patterns here, I suspect. One is the pattern of “house-cleaning”, of tying up nasty loose ends from the reign of the globaloney crowd – in this case perhaps represented by…

Catherine Austin Fitts – 2017 Destruction Of The Old Creation Of The New

Investment advisor Catherine Austin Fitts says, “We are so overdue for a 25% correction. . . . I think 2017 is going to be a composting. In the destruction of the old, let there be the creation of the new. We’re going to be creating the new, and we’re going to be destroying the old. It’s going to be quirky. There are going to be all kinds of black swans that could hit us. So, do I think we are going to have a major correction and lots of digestive problems? Yes, I do. Now, if the new administration gets what it wants by getting tax rates down and bringing capital back into the country, then there is going to be a very exciting future and a very exciting pathway for North America.”

On gold and silver, Fitts contends, “I think we are in a long-term bull market for gold, but I don’t think the consolidation is over. I was hoping the consolidation was over given how it was trading in the first three quarters, but given how it is trading now, it looks like the consolidation may not be over. The reality is gold is a number of things. In Asia, it’s real money. I think as long as Asia is converging with per capita income, gold is going to have a floor under it, and silver too.
