UC Berkeley riots last night: Globalist dupes on parade

Shutting down free speech at the home of the Free Speech Movement

The speaker canceled: Milo Yiannopoulos: gay, anti-Left

By Jon Rappoport

In the early days of the American Republic, George Washington warned against entangling foreign alliances. Flash forward from 1796 to 2017. Last night, masked thugs emerged from a crowed of protestors, at UC Berkeley, and chanted: “No borders, no nations, fuck deportations.” And there you have it. A perfect summary of the Globalist position.

One planetary nation (under one gentle, all-inclusive, loving, iron fist).

George Soros would be smiling. David Rockefeller would be chortling.

Here’s what happened last night, culled from various news sources:

SF Gate: “A protest at UC Berkeley over a scheduled appearance by right-wing provocateur Milo Yiannopoulos turned fiery and violent Wednesday night, prompting police to cancel the event and hustle the Breitbart News editor off campus.”

Grabien.com: “Student protesters upset over a speech by writer Milo Yiannopoulos are setting fires and destroying property at Berkeley University Wednesday night…Protesters are leaving campus en route for the town of Berkeley, chanting along the way, ‘No borders, no nations! Fuck deportations!’ After a female Trump supporter concludes an interview with a local reporter, anti-Milo protesters pepper spray her.”

CBS SF: “Protesters armed with bricks and fireworks mounted an assault on the building hosting a speech by polarizing Breitbart News editor Milo Yiannopoulos Wednesday night, forcing the event’s cancellation. UC Berkeley officials said the protest was infiltrated by vandals. As the gathered crowd got more agitated, masked ‘black bloc’ activists began hurling projectiles including bricks, lit fireworks and rocks at the building and police. Some used police barriers as battering rams to attack the doors of the venue, breaching at least one of the doors and entering the venue on the first floor. In addition to fireworks being thrown up onto the second-floor balcony, fires were lit outside the venue, including one that engulfed a gas-powered portable floodlight. At about 6:20 p.m., UC campus police announced that the event had been cancelled. Officers ordered the crowd to disperse, calling it an unlawful assembly. By 8 p.m., a large crowd of people had moved off the campus and onto Telegraph Avenue. They smashed ATMs at a Bank of America branch and set several trash fires on Telegraph Avenue. After marching west on Durant Avenue, the group moved north on Shattuck Avenue, smashing windows and vandalizing a Mechanics Bank branch near the corner of Bancroft Way. Chase and Wells Fargo branches were also vandalized. A Starbucks location near campus was vandalized and looted. Police also received reports that banks were set on fire in the area of Center Street and Shattuck Avenue.”

NBC News: “’The violence was instigated by a group of about 150 masked agitators who came onto campus and interrupted an otherwise non-violent protest’, UC Berkeley said in a statement. Some people were attacked and police treated six people for injuries, the university said… Berkeley College Republicans said before the protests that a ‘groupthink phenomenon’ has taken hold at the California university that silences conservative speech, and while it doesn’t agree with everything Yiannopoulos has said or done ‘we saw the chance to host Milo as an opportunity that was too good to pass up. He is somebody who stands up for those who are too afraid or intimidated to speak out on campus, and he voraciously defends speech from all sides of the political spectrum’, the group said in a statement earlier. After the violence, the group said in a statement: ‘The Free Speech Movement is dead. Today, the Berkeley College Republicans’ constitutional right to free speech was silenced by criminals and thugs seeking to cancel Milo Yiannopoulos’ tour’.”

Don’t like what someone has to say? Shut him down. Destroy property.

Here are several Milo Yiannopoulos quotes:

“Hillary Clinton is funded by people who murder homosexuals.”

“Now, some of the most dangerous places for women to be in the world are modern, Western, rich European countries. Why? One reason. Islamic immigration – it’s got to stop.”

“Hillary Clinton has shown no indication whatsoever of stemming the tide of Islamic immigration, or stopping our mollycoddling, and pandering to Islam. These things are direct threats. Not just to culture, but to the lives of gay people in America.”

“America’s got to take a break from foreign wars, and take a break from immigration.”

“Feminists want to replace old etiquette rules with a new system of politically-driven language policing, controlled by them and predicated on nebulous hurt feelings and speculative ‘harm’.”

“Virtue signaling can best be explained as the devotion of a person’s entire existence to explaining how wonderful they (and their friends) are, and how terribly wrong everyone else is. The point of virtue signaling is to demonstrate superiority, for the purpose of consolidating power…

Mass Resignations At The State Dept., Funding Cut To UN; It’s A Start

Mercedes-Benz Forum - View Single Post - Draining the swamp
Source: NoMoreFakeNews.com | JonRappoport.wordpress.com
Jon Rappoport
January 31, 2017

When people become enmeshed in large complex structures, they believe those systems are absolutely essential; survival itself is at stake.

They are frequently wrong.

For example, the US State Department and the United Nations could vanish tomorrow, and after a few years no one would notice the difference.

Except of course, the hand-wringing Globalist media, who would howl and shriek and predict doom for all humankind.

The Trump administration is talking about making significant cuts to UN funding. And about 15 in-house “experts” who manage the State Dept. bureaucracy have resigned en masse.

It’s too bad. I mean it’s too bad the Trump administration isn’t going to cut all funding to the UN, and it’s too bad the entire State Department hasn’t quit. Then we’d be getting somewhere.

Instead of the UN, we could have one small apartment building in New York where countries might send representatives to live. These people, of course, would pay their own rent. They would chat, play cards, sit in community rooms, and have drinks. They could pass a few scribbled notes back and forth. No sumptuous assembly hall, no voluminous charter, no bad art celebrating “the unity of all peoples.” Instead, ping pong tournaments and air hockey.

If the US government had listened to George Washington, when he urged avoiding entangling foreign alliances, the US would have followed a far different course of development at home; and permanent relations with other governments would have been laughed out of court.

Who knows? With a clearer focus on domestic issues, the US might have remained a Republic, instead of devolving into a democracy, a venal form of corporatism, an Empire, and a universal Welfare State.

Permanent foreign diplomacy, with all its bizarre accoutrements, would never have entered the scene.

A proper global charter would read, “Don’t bother us and we won’t bother you.” End of story.

If the people of various nations didn’t like their governments, they could rebel, revolt. Same here.

The “unity of everyone” is a straight con. The idea would never have gained traction, unless international entanglements, with all their attendant crimes, had come first. As in: “Hey, I’ve got a great idea. Let’s get a few of the boys together, incite a war, fund both sides, make a huge profit, and then, in the aftermath of the smoking ruins, preach togetherness like it came down from heaven, and cobble together new alliances. Then we can start the whole process over again.”

It’s called treason. A capital offense.

By the way, the land where the UN Headquarters in New York sits was originally donated by John D Rockefeller, which should give you some clue about the organization’s agenda. One planet, indivisible, with an absurd pretension of liberty and justice for all. Or to put it another way, endless entangling alliances.

“Let’s wrap everyone on Earth in coils and knots and tendrils up to their eyeballs and call it Love.”

For those who can’t imagine good reasons for dismantling all sorts of titanic bureaucracies, for those who believe these behemoths are indispensable, try a small-scale analogy: one day you wake up and find a dozen strangers occupying spaces in your house. They all claim to be experts, and they all have solutions to problems concerning the home—problems you never knew existed. Their solutions require a council and endless discussions and reports—and this is for “the greater good.” Your relationship with these strangers seems to be imperative, because, well, they are there.

Your ownership of the house is obviously now in question. You’re not in charge. You can participate in the decision-making, but as the days pass, you realize you’re being edged out. You’re not an expert in “home management.” Therefore, your opinions are put on the back-burner.

And everything goes downhill from there.

But don’t worry. The overarching goal of the strangers is “unity,” and unity must be a good thing. It sounds like a good thing.

—Except for the fact that you never needed it until they showed up.

Finally, one day, you wake up with a brilliant idea:

“I’ll kick them out.”

Scientists March To Support Global-Warming Censorship: The New Ridiculous

fakenews

NoMoreFakeNews.com
Jon Rappoport
January 29, 2017

USA Today has the story (1/26): “American scientists worried about climate change and skeptical of President Donald Trump are planning a protest march in Washington, D.C.”

“March organizers, on the event’s website, said it serves as ‘a starting point to take a stand for science in politics’.”

“…The group’s mission statement is set to come out on Monday.”

“‘There are certain things that we accept as facts with no alternatives’, the statement said. ‘The Earth is becoming warmer due to human action…’”

Well, all right, that’s that. No alternatives.

Debate would be subversive.

Official science is the only science.

But oops; all along, there have been dissenters from the manmade warming mantra; they just haven’t been allowed inside government and media portals.

Freeman Dyson, physicist and mathematician, professor emeritus at Princeton’s Institute for Advanced Study, Fellow of the Royal Society, winner of the Lorentz Medal, the Max Planck Medal, the Fermi Award: “What has happened in the past 10 years is that the discrepancies [in climate change models] between what’s observed and what’s predicted have become much stronger. It’s clear now the [climate change] models are wrong, but it wasn’t so clear 10 years ago… I’m 100 per cent Democrat myself, and I like Obama. But he took the wrong side on this [climate change] issue, and the Republicans took the right side…” (The Register, October 11, 2015)

Dr. Ivar Giaever, Nobel-prize winner in Physics (1973), reported by Climate Depot, July 8, 2015: “Global warming is a non-problem…I say this to Obama: Excuse me, Mr. President, but you’re wrong. Dead wrong.”

Green Guru James Lovelock, who once predicted imminent destruction of the planet via global warming: “The computer models just weren’t reliable. In fact, I’m not sure the whole thing isn’t crazy, this climate change.” (The Guardian, September 30, 2016)

And these are but a tiny fraction of the statements made by dissident scientists who reject manmade global warming.

The science is only settled in government/media circles, where leaders have climbed on board the Globalist plan to undermine economies all over the world by grossly lowering energy production, as a way to “reduce warming.”

One of the major warming hustlers is, of course, Al Gore. Every movement needs such men.

Consider facts laid out in an uncritical Washington Post story (October 10, 2012, “Al Gore has thrived as a green-tech investor”):

In 2001, Al was worth less than $2 million. By 2012, it was estimated he’d locked up a nice neat $100 million.

How did he do it? Well, he invested in 14 green companies, who inhaled—via loans, grants and tax relief—somewhere in the neighborhood of $2.5 billion from the federal government to go greener.

Therefore, Gore’s investments paid off, because the federal government was providing massive cash backup to those companies. It’s nice to have friends in high places.

For example, Gore’s investment firm at one point held 4.2 million shares of an outfit called Iberdrola Renovables, which was building 20 wind farms across the United States.

Iberdrola was blessed with $1.5 billion from the Federal government for the work which, by its own admission, saved its corporate financial bacon. Every little bit helps.

Then there was a company called Johnson Controls. It made batteries, including those for electric cars. Gore’s investment company, Generation Investment Management (GIM), doubled its holdings in Johnson Controls in 2008, when shares cost as little $9 a share. GIM and Gore sold when shares cost $21 to $26—before the market for electric-car batteries fell on its head.

For a while, the going was good. To make it go good, Johnson Controls had been bolstered by $299 million dropped at its doorstep by the administration of President Barack Obama.

On the side, Gore had been giving speeches on the end of life as we know it on planet Earth, for as much as $175,000 a pop. (Gore was constantly on the move from conference to conference, spewing jet fumes in his wake.) Those lecture fees can add up.

So Gore, as of 2012, had $100 million.

The man has worked every angle to parlay fear of global-warming catastrophes into a humdinger of a personal fortune. And he didn’t achieve his new status in the free market. The federal government has been helping out with major, major bucks.

This wasn’t an entrepreneur relying exclusively on his own smarts and hard work. Far from it.

—How many scientists and other PhDs have been just saying no to the theory of manmade global warming?

2012: A letter to The Wall Street Journal signed by 16 scientists said no (see here and here). Among the luminaries: William Happer, professor of physics at Princeton University; Richard Lindzen, professor of atmospheric sciences at Massachusetts Institute of Technology; William Kininmonth, former head of climate research at the Australian Bureau of Meteorology.

And then there was the Global Warming Petition Project, or the Oregon Petition, that said no. According to Petitionproject.org, the petition has the signatures of “31,487 American scientists,” of which 9,029 stated they had Ph.Ds.

Global warming is one of the Rockefeller Globalists’ chief issues. Manipulating it entails convincing populations that a massive intervention is necessary to stave off the imminent collapse of life on Earth. Therefore, sovereign nations must be eradicated. Political power and decision-making must flow from above, from “those who are wiser.”

Globalists want all national governments on the planet to commit to lowering energy production by a significant and destructive percentage in the next 15 years—“to save us from a horrible fate.”

Their real agenda is clear: “The only solution to climate change is a global energy-management network. We (the Globalist leaders) are in the best position to manage such a system. We will allocate mandated energy-use levels throughout planet Earth, region by region, nation by nation, and eventually, citizen by citizen.”

This is the long-term goal. This is the Globalists’ Holy Grail.

Slavery imposed through energy.

To learn more about this big con and swindle, I encourage you to read the book “Technocracy Rising: The Trojan Horse of Global Transformation”, by Patrick Wood.

In closing, I’ll leave you with this:

The New York Times, the “paper of record,” published a very interesting piece on January 26, 1989. The headline read: “US Data since 1895 Fail to Show Warming Trend.” (An earlier article of mine on it here.)

Here are a few key paragraphs:

“After examining climate data extending back nearly 100 years, a team of Government scientists has concluded that there has been no significant change in average temperatures or rainfall in the United States over that entire period.”

“While the nation’s weather in…

Darth Soros Again…

Source: GizaDeathStars.com
Dr. Joseph P. Farrell
January 30, 2017

Last Thursday, during my News and Views from the Nefarium (Jan 26, 2017), readers might recall that I outlined my high octane speculation that perhaps Darth Soros and his various non-government foundations might be emerging as the target of first choice in the on going international “populist” revolt against Mr. Globaloney. I based this on a consideration of the emerging anti-Soros movement in Macedonia, and Hungary, and on the Russian bans on his “foundations” in Russia after the Euromaidan coup against the then government of The Ukraine and the installation of a western friendly puppet government.

After that video, many people started to flood my email box with articles about Soros, and it adds some more grist for that mill of high octane speculation and for the scenario I outlined. Consider these two articles, sent by many readers here:

Canada Must Ban George Soros Foundations Now (FREEPOM)

http://philosophyofmetrics.com/canada-must-ban-george-soros-foundations-now-freepom/embed/#?secret=N2ENaz1c7C

Dutch Regulator Accidentally Posts Soros’s Short Positions

Let’s take a few paragraphs from the first article:

It’s of paramount importance that Canada and other nations cut off foreign funding to civil society groups and foundations which operate within their borders. These foundations and organizations represent outside forces which have ulterior motives and agendas which may not always, if ever, be aligned with the needs of the people.

One such foreign “philanthropic” organization is the George Soros funded Open Society Foundation. This foundations sole purpose is the promotion and expansion of the liberal-left international agenda meant to reduce national sovereignty, fund and support massive migration, such as is taking place in Europe, and the promote the mandate of open borders.

Soros and his foundations have provided the majority of funding for liberal-left social justice movements which have eroded national identity, encouraged abortion and divorce, and promote extremist environmentalism and taxation, such as the carbon tax scams which are being implemented in western nations.

Along with giving billions to left-wing socialist organizations Soros also attempts to influence elections, as in the recent American election and other nations.  Even within nations his foundations fund and support groups such as the Dogwood Initiative based in British Columbia.  This group’s stated goal is to influence Canadian elections in federal ridings.

The attempts to remove American sovereignty have been halted by the election of Donald Trump which is why Soros is now funding the protests against the Trump administration.  The control which Soros has over the news media comes from his funding and support for the progressive media watchdog group called Media Matters.  The term “media watchdog” should be interpreted as “ensuring the promotion of liberal-left propaganda”. (Emphasis added)

The article quite rightly raises – albeit in an elliptical and round-about way – the hypocrisy of the corporate controlled media, complaining of “Russian influence” over the recent American elections, while it continued to ignore the question not only of Bundeskanzlerin Angela Merkel’s attempts to influence those same elections via contributions to another such foundation (and we all know which one that is), but of the influence of foundations  with their blatantly globalist agendas which espouse ideologies contrary to the national interests of the countries in which they operate.  While the opposition to Darth Soros in Canada seems confined for the moment to the opposition, I rather suspect that as the consequences of globaloney continue to impact that nation, that such calls will intensify.

What really caught my attention, however, that the first paragraph’s implicit suggestion that foundations as such – not simply those of Soros – are a cause for concern, and this recalled to my mind the efforts of the Reece committee in the 1950s in the United States to investigate the power and influence of foundations. The Reece committee, a successor in the Republican controlled Congress that took office on the coattails of President Dwight Eisenhower, was the successor to a committee that had been appointed by the previous Democratic Congress to investigate foundations, but whose efforts were largely sabotaged both by Republicans and Democrats refusing to fund it sufficiently. (For a more complete review of these committees, see my book, The Third Way.)  What the Reece committee and its predecessor found, however, was highly suggestive, because it concluded, long before any of the Soros NGOs were on the scene, that several famous corporate foundations – Ford, Rockefeller, Carnegie and so on – were engaged in a similar ideological commitment and effort. Indeed, Rene Wormser, chief counsel to the Reece Committee, wrote a book about the results of the Committee, Foundations: Their Power and Influence, in which he described the foundations as modern equivalents to the great mediaeval crusading orders: they were tax exempt, had their own agenda, and were, in effect, extraterritorial sovereignties and “information gatekeepers” designed to create and control the mega-narratives of society.

This suggests my first high octane speculation of the day: perhaps, with the increasing attention on Soros, we are witnessing the old struggle exemplified by the Reece Committee surfacing once again, and trying to finish the job it left unfinished. Of course, the foundations under investigation then were not accused of covertly funding violent activities in the hopes of counteracting elected governments, as is alleged by some to be the case for the Soros interests. If those allegations should be proven to be true or even a strong prima facie case be made that they are true, then those activities have endangered the whole edifice of foundations beyond the Soros interests, and that cannot be something those powerful families behind them will want to see, given the intertwined nature of networks among the super-rich.

Turning to the second article, however, the possibilities…

Nationalism, Globalism, Empire & The Vision Of Self-Sufficiency

Global
Source: NoMoreFakeNews.com
Jon Rappoport
January 24, 2017

Nationalism is not Empire. Nationalism is solving problems at home.

Globalism is the non-partisan effort to immerse nations in a regional and planetary management system; mega-corporations and banks steer the ship.

Freedom includes the ability to choose between Nationalism and Globalism.

Globalism is not an organic grass-roots movement. It is imposed from above. (See my work on the Rockefeller Trilateral Commission to gain a view of “above.”)

Empire here implies the effort by a government (e.g., the US, China) to extend its control over other nations and peoples. It is not an intrinsic part of Nationalism. Dick Cheney was intent on building an American Empire. A factory worker in Ohio isn’t.

Nationalism doesn’t mean the government is running a vast Welfare State. It isn’t running a charity without limits. It isn’t promising a utopia based on “share and care.”

Solving problems at home implies restoring jobs stolen by corporations who left the country and set up shop in foreign lands. They committed this deed under terms of Globalist trade treaties. The corporations weren’t exercising freedom. They were navigating loopholes designed by their friends in high places. The major loophole was:

“You can manufacture your products in a hell hole overseas with slave labor, and then you can export those products back to your former home country and sell them without paying a tariff.”

Solving problems at home implies the robust expansion of independent media, who become a watchdog on government, corporations, and major media.

Solving problems at home implies the eradication of a Surveillance State which, under the cover of protecting the citizenry against terrorism, is actually collecting massive amounts of information on all citizens.

Solving problems at home implies eliminating gangs who are holding millions of citizens in inner cities hostage in their own residences.

Solving problems at home implies securing the nation’s borders against incursion by people intent on committing crimes, collecting free money and services from the government, and subverting freedom.

Solving problems at home implies doing whatever can be done to encourage a culture in which individual freedom and vision and power motivates as many people as possible to invent their own futures, in order to fulfill their most profound desires.

Solving problems at home implies prosecuting, to the fullest extent of the law, companies that pollute and poison the land, sea, and air with their “by-products.” This effort does not require a return to some universal Pagan religion of Nature.

Solving problems at home implies prosecuting, to the fullest extent of the law, companies who manufacture and sell compounds that purport to cure disease, but actually destroy health and life.

Historically, the first time a banker or corporate leader was discovered to have financed an American war on both sides, he should have been tried and convicted of treason. That would have sent a suitable message.

And so forth and so on.

This is all common sense.

It is obscured by waves of mouthy propaganda, featuring high-flying generalities and ideals, which turn into demands and vicious attacks: “Everybody has to love one another right now and share everything for free, and if they don’t, we’ll blast them into the stratosphere.”

These waves are planned, organized, and funded by people like George Soros, and they are meant to disrupt nations and push them into the arms of the Globalist agenda.

The number of unconscious dupes and pawns in this operation is legion.

In his 1796 Farewell Address, President George Washington provided exceptional recommendations about nationalism:

“It is our true policy to steer clear of permanent alliances with any portion of the foreign world…”

“But even our commercial [trade] policy [with foreign nations] should hold an equal and impartial hand…diffusing and diversifying by gentle means the streams of commerce, but forcing nothing…constantly keeping in view that it is folly in one nation to look for disinterested favors from another; that it must pay with a portion of its independence for whatever it may accept under that character…There can be no greater error than to expect or calculate upon real favors from nation to nation. It is an illusion, which experience must cure, which a just pride ought to discard.”

“…Europe has a set of primary interests which to us have none; or a very remote relation. Hence she must be engaged in frequent controversies, the causes of which are essentially foreign to our concerns. Hence, therefore, it must be unwise in us to implicate ourselves by artificial ties in the ordinary vicissitudes of her politics, or the ordinary combinations and collisions of her friendships or enmities.”

“Why quit our own to stand upon foreign ground? Why, by interweaving our destiny with that of any part of Europe, entangle our peace and prosperity in the toils of European ambition, rivalship, interest…?”

“With me a predominant motive has been to endeavor to gain time to our country to settle and mature its yet recent institutions, and to progress without interruption to that degree of strength and consistency which is necessary to give it, humanly speaking, the command of its own fortunes.”

Whenever Washington mentions Europe, he is essentially referring to any foreign country.

Nationalism: stay at home. Strengthen the home country. No Empire. No entangling alliances.

And certainly, no Globalism, which amounts to surrender of the home country to foreign interests.

What is wrong with George Washington’s policy? Nothing.

The policy has been called isolationism, which, via propaganda, has been given a nasty edge. It has no edge. It has concern for America.

Every country could learn from George Washington’s wisdom.

Utopian dreams aside, no country’s history is pure. Its governments and leaders have committed terrible crimes. But that fact doesn’t imply that the country should be destroyed or dismantled, or attached to some deceptive supra-national program of “harmony for all.”

Nationalism, in George Washington’s description of it…

With the stroke of a pen, President Donald Trump has unraveled the Trans-Pacific Partnership, withdrawing the US from the controversial free trade pact. Ed Schultz, host of “News With Ed,” joins Simone Del Rosario to discuss the move. Meanwhile, the future of NAFTA remains uncertain as talks of renegotiating the Clinton-era trade pact buzz around the White House. RT America’s Alex Mihailovich joins to discuss.
