With admiration, many have been observing Iceland’s handling of the banking crisis that jolted the entire world in recent years. Now experiencing a unique economic recovery, the Icelandic public became aware in 2008 that the nation’s private banks had borrowed some $120 billion dollars, ten times the size of Iceland’s economy, creating an economic bubble which forced housing prices to double, and saddled the nation’s people with debt.

While other Western nations initiated bank bailouts in 2008, a popular uprising in Iceland led to a peaceful revolution against corrupt government and banks, and has since become the example for the global movement for liberation from central banking and unaccountable government.

Following the resignation of Icleand’s former prime minister, Sigmundur Davíð Gunnlaugsson, who quit after being implicated in fraud by the release of the Panama Papers in April of 2016, the public has again grown impatient with the political class. While another US presidential election enters the severe mud-slinging phase, this time between a career politician with an alleged lengthy criminal past, and an arrogant celebrity businessman, Iceland has just demonstrated that a true political outsider and common person can be elected to the office of president.

Guðni Jóhannesson, a professor of history, has just been elected president of Iceland, ousting the 20 year incumbent, Ólafur Ragnar Grímsson, with 39% of the popular vote. The political newcomer also beat chief opponent, businesswoman Halla Tómasdóttir, meaning that the office of president will not be held by a career politician or businessperson.

It stinks worse than a surfeit of skunks crashing a Texas Fourth of July picnic. Look at even the superficial facts of the so-called “Panama Papers.”

A Munich Germany mainstream pro-NATO newspaper editor we are told gets an anonymous gift of alleged files of thousands of high net worth tax dodgers from around the world. To read the front pages of major mainstream western newspapers or BBC and CNN these past days one would be convinced that some hacker had uncovered smoking gun proof that Russia’s Vladimir Putin along with China President Xi Jinping and other “enemies” of the Washington Agenda had stashed billions in secret accounts managed by a Panama law firm called Mossack Fonseca.

With no explanation how or from whom, the Süddeutsche Zeitung says it came into possession of 11.5 million confidential documents sent them by someone they never met who went by the anonymous name “John Doe,” a typical American moniker. The “Panama Papers” handover was done a year ago, with, we are told, detailed information about more than 214,000 offshore companies listed by the Panama law firm, Mossack Fonseca. The file cache contained the identities of shareholders and directors of the offshore companies.

Immediately Süddeutsche Zeitung’s editors say they contacted a highly select cabal or group of journalists and a year later, with precise timing, western mainstream corporate-owned media have now begun coordinated, orchestrated selective leaks of alleged contents.

Now it gets quite interesting.

The Süddeutsche Zeitung was perhaps unwittingly helpful for genuine investigative journalists in detailing the methodology the mainstream media journalists holding the huge file cache used to find certain offshore tax dodgers. They simply did a data search for any names associated with sanction-breaking dealings of UN sanctioned regimes. That naturally targeted regimes pursuing policies inimical to the USA which pushes almost all economic sanctions these days. So, abracadabra, names from North Korea, Russia, Syria and Zimbabwe feature in the “exposes.” The Panama Papers is being promoted as “the largest leak journalists have ever worked with.”

ICIJ?

Süddeutsche Zeitung editors also stated proudly on their website that they immediately decided to go to an organization called the International Consortium of Investigative Journalism (ICIJ) to help them decide how to deal with the huge store of stolen data files they had come into.

We might ask what exactly is this International Consortium of Investigative Journalists or ICIJ? If we do a little investigating of the consortium for “investigative journalists” or ICIJ, it turns out ICIJ is a “global network of more than 190 investigative journalists in more than 65 countries who collaborate on in-depth investigative stories.” Founded in 1997, “ICIJ was launched as a project of the Center for Public Integrity to extend the Center’s style of watchdog journalism, focusing on issues that do not stop at national frontiers: cross-border crime, corruption, and the accountability of power.”

Gosh, this really sounds like a noble, selfless organization of heroic journalists seeking “truth, justice and the American way of life,” as Clark Kent used to say in the Superman TV series. Only thing is, it isn’t.

Panama Papers, the Movie: Anti-Privacy Propaganda Grinds On

The Panama Papers are going to be made into a movie as Western anti-privacy propaganda grinds on.

The Panama Papers comprise 11.5 million emails hacked from the computers of Mossack Fonseca, a provider of corporations, trusts, shell companies and other legal structures that enhance privacy and anonymity.

While those whose names appear in the 11.5 million emails have come under suspicion of criminality, there is nothing criminal of itself in seeking to keep one’s financial affairs private.

People do have the right to privacy. They have a right to organize their affairs as they wish, so long as they do it in a non-criminal way.

But that’s not stopping governments from using them sensationally to give the impression that users of offshore tax havens are guilty until proven innocent. And that users should be impugned simply for trying to keep their names and affairs secret.

Unfortunately, these anti-privacy attacks are continuing and will become more emphatic and corrosive.

People who want to organize their affairs privately in the 21^st century should take note of what’s occurring. It might be advisable to move quickly to reorganize affairs in ways that recognize and anticipate the latest official attacks.

Seen from the widest perspective, this Panama Papers provide us with a textbook example of how certain elite Western forces continually grind down freedom, one step at a time.

Inevitably, these episodes result in more globalist governance – or least celebrate the apparatus of globalized law enforcement.

Movies are part of the international propaganda machinery of government globalization.

A high-profile example of how movies are used for these purposes involves the film Zero Dark Thirty.

The film purported to be a narrative of how the CIA tracked down and killed Osama bin Laden.

But after the fact it became apparent that the CIA had not only supported the film but had input into its creation and editing.

Gawker and other online media sites reported that the CIA successfully pressured those making the film to remove parts of the script that portrayed the CIA negatively.

The final result of the script and the movie presented acts of torture as  providing the CIA and military officials with valuable information about bin Laden.

This was a lie.  Torture did not reveal what the movie claimed.

Additionally, there are more fundamental questions. Bin Laden was already reportedly sick in 2001. There are reports that he died in the early 2000s, perhaps as a result of Marfan Syndrome, which attacks the kidneys.

Nonetheless, the film suffered no legal or financial consequences. No doubt it was protected by the same forces that manipulated it initially.

This is simply a fact: High profile movies are part of an arsenal of propaganda that create the narrative that globalist government wishes to provide.

For most people, the reality doesn’t matter as they are not likely to take the time to do even minimal research. Instead, they will accept cinematic fiction as fact.

Not all movies promote globalization or fraudulently celebrate law enforcement. But a percentage do.

Hollywood is a prime disseminator of movies that are watched around the world. And American intel very obviously has connections to studios at the highest levels.

Certain movies lend themselves to elements of mass psychological manipulation. These are the ones, evidently, with which American and British intelligence are most involved.

No doubt the propaganda swirling around the Panama Papers will continue and even increase until anti-privacy goals are achieved.

A few decades ago, it would have been shocking to contemplate an international, public register of offshore corporations in which the names of beneficial owners were revealed. But that is what’s being planned now.

The book and movie will play a big role in sustaining media pressure on legislators and other officials for anti-privacy legislation and enforcement.

Britain and its European allies have announced new rules designed to be a “hammer blow” against tax evasion in direct response to the Panama Papers leak that exposed how the world’s richest and most powerful people hide their wealth from tax authorities. -Guardian

Never in the history of humankind has it been impossible to create an anonymous legal entity.

But now it will be. And this doesn’t seem to be a momentous event to the world’s mainstream media which is reporting on the story as if it has to do with tax evasion.

The larger issue is that a handful of elected and unelected bureaucrats have decided that YOU – a person, a businessman, an investor – have no right to set up a corporation without publicly affixing your name to it.

And just in case you have second thoughts about that, “tax havens” around the world will be pressured to cooperate with “Britain and its allies” who intend to deal a “hammerblow” to tax evasion.

The US must be seen as part of this allied charge as the “U.S. Treasury is Finalizing Rule to Combat Tax Evasion,” according to the LawyerHerald.

U.S. Treasury Secretary announced support on restraining tax evasion during his speech in the International Monetary and Financial Committee (IMFC) press conference at the IMF headquarter on Saturday. Secretary Lew said that the U.S. has planned a rule to combat shell companies.

… Lew also call all countries to exchange financial account information automatically in the wake of Panama Papers leak.

Lew’s statement corresponds to intentions voiced by Europe and Britain – and also by the Group of 20. The G20 issued a release calling on countries around the world and especially tax havens to voluntarily release information on corporate beneficial owners.

Previously, International Monetary Fund and World Bank officials had issued similar statements.

As well, the IMF seemed to indicate that it might take the lead on creating an international register of private companies that would reveal beneficial ownership.

In other words, countries would not allow the creation of anonymous companies.

To ensure that privacy was thoroughly penetrated, beneficial owners of such corporations – trusts, private corporations, shell companies – would be publicly listed in a way that might offer instant access via electronic communications.

The cascade of announcements occurred throughout last week in Washington DC where the IMF and World Bank were meeting with G20 officials.

The speed and gravity of the announcements certainly gives rise to the suspicion that they were pre-planned.

In fact, we are supposed to believe the opposite.

We are supposed to believe that the entire spectrum of international political and financial executives were so incensed with what the Panama Papers revealed that they were able to act in concert within a couple of weeks of the initial hacks.

This is in stark contrast to most international gambits that take months and even years to orchestrate.

And, yes, it is really unbelievable.

The entire Panama Papers leak is unbelievable. The 11.5 million email leak seems carefully calibrated to embarrass US and British “enemies” – especially political opponents such as Vladimir Putin.

And accusations that Russia itself organized the leak are almost laughable given the recent reactions emanating from Washington DC.

More and more it becomes difficult to deny that a sub stratum of organized globalism exists that is orchestrating a global regime of rules and regulations. These will affect seven billion people around the world while exempting a relative handful of families and individuals doing the orchestrating.

The mainstream media is habitually blasé about what’s taking place and the way the global regime is growing – quickly and powerfully.

Panama Papers reveal London as center of ‘spider’s web’ … As-well as shining a spotlight on the secret financial arrangements of the rich and powerful, the so-called Panama Papers have laid bare London’s role as a vital organ of the world’s tax-haven network.  – JapanTimes

The Panama Papers leak has “revealed” London at the center of a “spider’s web,” according to this article, above. It is further evidence that the release of private information was a botched job.

Further down in this article, we’ll discuss the unraveling political system in the US, which is now clearly revealing that parties choose candidates not primaries. Taken together, these developments show once again the impact that the Internet is having on hitherto private structures and their propaganda.

The Panama Papers revelations have convulsed Britain in a variety of ways. The personal affairs of Prime Minister David Cameron have been exposed in the leaks, and he may yet have to resign.

And in the US, as powerful political forces fight back against popular electoral choices Bernie Sanders and Donald Trump, anger over the entire primary process is growing and may eventually result in significant political change.

It is certainly important to note such developments – and take them into account when making personal and professional decisions on a variety of fronts. As Western mythologies evaporate, civil society itself becomes more tenuous and prone to disintegration.

We warn about this regularly. As verities self-destruct, a vacuum forms. One needs to be aware of this sociopolitical evolution and to realize that it is going to demand increasing “human action.”

This article in the Japan Times reinforces our argument. It is a clinical removal of the studied media pretense surrounding the City.

The Japan Times is a mainstream media outlet. As such, we are surprised to find an article critical of the City. We don’t often read items in the mainstream media that focus on London’s City, certainly not from the standpoint of white-collar criminality.

It provides further evidence – as has been broadly speculated – that the furtive release of the Panama Papers was a botched mission, possibly led by the CIA.

Why botched? Because of the obviousness of the results. Those who had their information released were often those who were in opposition to the West’s current financial structure. People like Vladimir Putin and the Prime Minister of Iceland who had led an effort to put bankers in jail for various financial transgressions.

Meanwhile, individuals like David Cameron, Prime Minister of Britain were caught up in the leaking. This was surely not its intended purpose and further reinforces the idea that the affair was neither smoothly conducted nor efficiently planned.

It certainly was ambitious in scope, a massive leak that encompassed some 11.5 million emails. The intention is ambitious as well, to embarrass enemies of the Anglosphere and further support international regulation shutting down “offshore” entities.

But the blow-back from this operation is exposing the City itself to an examination that was surely not the intended outcome.

It would seem to show that those behind such ventures still have not figured out how to control the free-flow of information on the Internet that accompanies such obvious manipulations.

In the US, the political process picking the next president is imploding and, as it does, it presents a more naked version of reality.

As Donald Trump and Bernie Sanders have both pressed successful campaigns to be nominated as presidential candidates by their respective parties, the push-back has clearly revealed that primary results have little or no impact on the ultimate outcome.

That the political-industrial structure has allowed the veil to be ripped away from mechanism of power politics, thus exposing it, is a shocking development.

One can argue about intentions surrounding this development but one cannot argue with the result: A mythology of democracy has been decimated.

Throughout the US people now grasp the reality of the political process.

The Panama Papers Again: Is It Really A US-Soros-Rockefeller VS…

Almost everyone has a theory now about who or what was behind the Panama Papers story, and admittedly, the story does present much for high octane speculation. As time goes by, more and more theories are coming out. Others seem to have the view that I propounded in last Thursday’s News and Views from the Nefarium that the Panama Papers story represents, at least in part, evidence of “factional infighting” that goes on in the mafia we call “the global financial elite”. Consider for example, this article shared by Mr. T.K., outlining the hypothesis that the papers represent, at their deepest level, a struggle between the “Rockefellers” and the “Rothschilds”:

Here the crux interpretum seems to be the struggle between a global financial system based on the dollar and one based on the rising markets of Asia and gold, with a backdrop of similar exposure of “Rothschild corruption”:

The Investigation into Mossack Fonseca’s activity is a continuation of the anti-offshore campaign that ICIJ began in 2013. Then, unknown persons allegedly handed over 260 gigabytes of data regarding the ownership of secret offshore bank accounts to ICIJ director Gerard Ryle. ICIJ published the Offshore leaks, comprising tens of thousands of offshore bank accounts, in which many prominent international figures were implicated, including Baron Elie de Rothschild, the head of French branch of Rothschild dynasty.

Clans of Rothschild, Sachs, Thyssens and Safra, closely associated with the Rothschild family, were the focus of ICIJ Swiss Leaks in 2013. Then the data of a number of Swiss lawyers and trusts was declassified. “They helped clients all over the world establish offshore firms and trusts to protect their assets from tax collectors or over-zealous heirs”.

The publication of the so-called Luxembourg leaks was also aimed against the ruling family of Luxembourg, also related to the Rothschilds.

Today, one of companies affected is Rothschild Trust, which managed the assets of some key world politicians in offshore locations. For example, it was revealed that Rothschild Trust, a branch of Rothschild Wealth Management & Trust, manages the assets of Ukrainian oligarch President Poroshenko on the British Virgin Islands. Among ten banks that requested the most offshore companies for clients, Rothschild Trust Guernsey is visible. One of the top politicians in the scandal, British Prime-Minister David Cameron, is said to have close relations with British branch of Rothschild family. Very interesting coincidence. Did you get it?
