Most health enthusiasts watch what they eat in a major way, not realizing that they may not be vigilant enough in some key areas. Are you struggling to shed those last 10 pounds? Can’t seem to get enough energy for a good workout at the gym? Too tired before and after work to do much at all? Maybe the secret lies in the need for healthy food across the board, not just when considering the main courses you consume and the beverages of which you partake.
Those little “extras” are greatly underestimated in their power to bring you down, slow you down and actually minimize your potential. That’s right: the “man” sneaks poisons into just about anything he can, so when you overlook condiments and don’t “sweat the small stuff,” it just may be what’s sweating you. Maybe your mustard and fermented soy sauce are okay, but there’s a swath of toxic toppings you probably think don’t make up enough of what you consume to make a difference. Except … they do.
Do you ever watch videos where the speakers are raw foodists, or health “fanatics,” or just nutritional experts, and they seem to have a relentless supply of energy, a positive outlook, enthusiasm and passion for life and what they’re teaching? It’s not because they consume canola oil and soybean oil all day, and it’s certainly not because they drink water from the tap and put animal byproducts that contain hormones, antibiotics and harmful bacteria in their bodies. They’re not putting products in their bodies that have been processed, iodized, irradiated, brewed with chemicals, genetically modified or imported from China. Every little bit adds up, and you may want to evaluate everything you’re eating and drinking, including these top seven condiments that destroy health faster than most people would ever even consider.
#1. Most coffee creamers, whether liquid or powder: Liquid creamers often contain soy and carageenan, while the powders contain GMO soy, among other polluted ingredients.
#2. Artificial sweeteners: These sweet devils cause feelings of anxiety, nervousness, depression and for many others, irritable bowel syndrome.
#3. Most mayonnaise: Nearly every mayo on the shelves, including the organic options, contains pesticide-laden soybean and canola oils. It’s hard to find mayonnaise made with non-GMO sunflower oil or vegenaise. Your best bet is to follow a recipe and make your own organic mayonnaise with organic eggs, lemon juice, apple cider vinegar and Dijon mustard.
#4. Most salad dressings, including organic, contain soy and canola oils: They’re flooding the shelves lately, and they’ll absolutely ruin your healthy salad. Don’t let it happen to you. Even organic soy is bad for humans. If soy is not fermented, don’t buy it. And canola oil comes from rapeseed, which is toxic to all animals. Let it go!
#5. Sour cream (loaded with hormones and antibiotics from CAFO cows): Sour cream is dairy based, and if the cows aren’t grass fed and living outside, eating normal organic food, then they’re living in confined animal feeding operations, getting jacked up with artificial growth hormones, shot up with antibiotics and crowded together, walking around in their own feces, with infected udders that produce pus-laden milk. Talk about a condiment that will bring you down and lead to inflammation and excess mucus. Avoid non-organic sour cream at all costs.
#6. Honey: Much of the “honey” sold in America is just HFCS (high fructose corn syrup) that’s genetically modified and/or imported and processed imitation honey from China. (Look for REAL honey from local, trusted sources.)
#7. Iodized salt (irradiated and raises blood pressure): You know how you always hear, “Too much sodium causes high blood pressure?” Well, they’re talking about iodized, irradiated salt, not sea salt, which contains lots of nutritious minerals. Avoid the white salt that’s in just about every shaker at every restaurant in America. Bring your own Himalayan sea salt with you when you go out to eat, and pop your own organic popcorn (with sea salt) and bag it for the movies!
A condiment is any sauce or spice that’s added to food in order to impart a certain flavor, or to enhance existing flavor. In some cultures, condiments complement the dish. The term originally described preserved or pickled foods, but the meaning has shifted over the years. Nearly every condiment at a restaurant, convenience store, work office break room, fast food joint or coffee shop contains ingredients that are processed, genetically modified to contain pesticides and detrimental to your health.
Any medical doctor will tell you that you worry too much, but any nutritional expert will tell you that it all adds up, and that there’s a reason every third person in America gets cancer in their lifetime, while half of the rest suffer from Alzheimer’s, heart disease, strokes, arthritis, osteoporosis, diabetes and other totally preventable health issues.
Start “sweating” the small stuff. Examine all the condiments you’ve been using regularly, and switch them out for some healthy ones. You’ll notice a difference in the way you feel – guaranteed!

From cradle to grave, Americans suffer from “mysterious” health problems that medical doctors just can’t seem to solve, not with medications, surgery or chemotherapy. Where oh where could all of these problems come from – ones that other countries barely have, or don’t have at all?
Think about it: Why would anyone’s body completely freak out just because you open a jar of peanut butter on the other side of the room? Why would a baby get a headache so severe that it causes brain damage? How did the statistics of autism go from 1 in 10,000 boys to 1 in 68, just since the late 1990s, and could it have anything to do with injecting the most toxic non-radioactive chemical on planet earth – an acute neurotoxin called mercury – into the muscle tissue of children over, and over, and over, and up to 30 times before they reach the age of three?
People worry so much about infectious diseases, but since the advent of decent plumbing and hospital hygiene in the mid-1900s, that hasn’t been a problem. Maybe everybody should be much more concerned about preventing preventable diseases, that shouldn’t be labeled diseases at all, since they’re not really contagious, in the literal sense of the word. The epidemic-style “diseases” of modern America are more or less disorders – disorders of the cells, malfunctions of cleansing organs, chronic inflammation, unnatural, conjured-up immune reactions, severely disrupted endocrine systems, infected lymphatic fluids, and profoundly disturbed central nervous systems. These malfunctions are not normal. The majority of these are not inherited from parents. These are health crises that develop after birth, and often worsen within a handful of years to the extent that they become permanent issues, requiring extensive, expensive, long-term care.
Since WWII, American food, medicine and personal care products have become heavily contaminated with toxins, and not by accident. “Big Food” and “Big Pharma” have grown to monopolize the industries that make Americans sick and dysfunctional, and they target the children, knowing that the parents will do anything (including spending every dime they have) to try to fix the problems and give their kids a normal life, or at least as close to normal as their money will provide. And there are only two types of medical doctors in the USA: There are the ones who know nothing about toxins in food and medicine, and who prescribe chemical quack medicines that address only the symptoms of preventable disorders, and then there are the medical doctors who know about toxins in food, medicine and personal care products, but prescribe chemical quack medicines anyway.
So, it’s not conspiracy theory when you eat a food product loaded with monosodium glutamate (MSG) and get a migraine headache within an hour that lasts for hours, leaving you completely non-functional, now is it? So then realize this, it’s also not guess work to figure out that most hyperactive, “ADHD” children eat toxic food dyes and can’t sit still at school afterwards. It’s also not some wild “hypothesis” that vaccines are made with peanut oil, which is not listed as an ingredient, because the so-called “trace amounts” aren’t enough to “count” according to the CDC. So now, friends, it’s time to closely examine the top 10 toxins in food and medicine that cause the majority of U.S. allergies, diseases and disorders.
#1. Mercury in vaccines causes autism.
#2. Peanut oil used to brew vaccines causes severe peanut allergies in developing children.
#3. Aspartame in food, beverages, gum, candy and medicine causes anxiety, seizures and depression – it’s a hidden schedule II narcotic!
#4. Mono sodium glutamate (MSG) in food and vaccines causes migraine headaches and brain damage in infants.
#5. Consuming unfermented soy regularly, whether organic or not (often found in baby formula), causes severe fluctuations in estrogen levels, leading to cancer tumors.
#6. Aluminum in antacids and vaccines causes Alzheimer’s and dementia.
#7. Sodium fluoride in tap water causes lowered IQ, cancer and brittle bones.
#8. High fructose corn syrup (HFCS) is the leading cause of diabetes worldwide.
#9. Consuming canola regularly, whether organic or not, destroys the protective coating surrounding your nerves, and leads to the degeneration of the heart, kidneys, thyroid gland and adrenals.
#10. Nearly all conventional food dyes are synthetic, petroleum-based and cause allergies, hyperactivity in children, and eventually, cancer.
There are many foods and superfoods that help the human body detoxify from heavy metal toxin overload, and they include, but are not limited to: chia seeds, cilantro, spirulina and chlorella. There are many foods that build natural immunity to infectious diseases, and they include, but are not limited to: turmeric, aloe, oil of oregano, vitamin D3, vitamin C, garlic, ginger and organic and raw cruciferous vegetables. There are food colorants that come from natural foods, like berries. There are phenomenal water filtration systems for your home, including the Big Berkey. There are healthy oil choices like coconut oil and hemp seed oil, that prevent Alzheimer’s disease and cancer, respectively. There are healthy forms of salt, like actual sea salt, that’s full of the minerals your body wants most.
Remember, just because your government allows 70,000 toxic agents in food, and even more in medicine and personal care products, doesn’t mean you have to be naive and consume them, and then go to an MD for more punishment. Get smart; eat organic. Buy from local farmers, and grow your own healthy food!

Seeds are essential to maintain future food supplies. They are the foundation of life, from fruits and vegetables to grain and livestock feed — without them, we have no food. It’s estimated that upwards of 90 percent of our caloric intake comes from seeds, directly or indirectly.
Seeds represent hope and new beginnings. When you save seeds, you’re joining a lineage of farmers, gardeners and seed enthusiasts that dates back to the Stone Age — our civilization arose, in large part, due to seed saving.
Early humans selected the best wild plants with which to feed themselves, passing those varieties along to others by saving and sharing seeds.
Sadly, age-old heirloom varieties are disappearing at an alarming rate — 90 percent of the crop varieties grown 100 years ago are already gone. The Millennium Seed Bank Partnership estimates that 60,000 to 100,000 plant species are in danger of extinction.1
In response to these snowballing losses, a movement to save seeds is sweeping the nation.
The PBS documentary “Seeds of Change” features seed savers who are pursuing grassroots alternatives to GMOs and to industrialized agricultural practices that threaten our health and the health of the planet.
The Disastrous Consequences of Patenting Life
Traditionally, seeds have been saved and shared between farmers from one season to the next. Farmers rarely ever had to buy new seed. Nature, when left alone, provides you with the means to propagate the next harvest in a never-ending cycle.
Today, valuable heirlooms have been replaced by massive expanses of genetically engineered (GE) crops. According to the USDA, 94 percent of U.S. soy and 88 percent of U.S. corn are now genetically engineered.
It’s estimated that, since 1970, 20,000 seed companies have been swallowed up by mega-corporations. In 2005, Monsanto bought the world’s largest fruit and vegetable seed company, Seminis, for $1.4 billion.
Just four agrichemical companies now own 43 percent of the world’s commercial seed supply, and 10 multinational corporations hold 65 percent of global commercial seed for major crops.2
Farmers don’t buy the seed outright anymore — they essentially buy a license to use the seed for a short period of time — typically one season. It’s more of a lease, or a “technology use agreement.”
For 200 years, the patenting of life was prohibited, especially with respect to foods. But in 1978, all of that changed with the first patent of a living organism, an oil-eating microbe, which opened the proverbial floodgates. One of Monsanto’s proxies has a patent claiming 463,173 separate plant genes!
Patenting of life was never approved by Congress or the American public, but as far as the GMO industry is concerned, they own a gene wherever it ends up and however it gets there.
You have undoubtedly heard the argument that GE foods are the only way to feed the world (which is, by the way, completely false). What is often not mentioned in that argument, however, is the inequality of the playing fields.
According to the featured documentary, in one three-year period alone, public funding for the development of GE versus organic crops was 70 to one!
Every Day, Your Food Choices Become Increasingly Limited
Over the course of 80 years (between 1903 and 1983), we lost 93 percent of the variety in our food seeds. According to Rural Advancement Foundation International:3
Even the popular heirloom tomato has taken an enormous hit, having lost at least 80 percent of its diversity over the last century. Even more tragic is the fact that many of these precious plants are being replaced by patented GE varieties.
