According to archaeological reports, a long lost Kingdom, believed to date back to the Dark Ages has been recently rediscovered in Scotland. Archaeologists firmly believe they have discovered the site of the lost kingdom of Rheged, one of the most elusive of all the sixth-century kingdoms of Dark Age Britain.

Even though great Kingdoms quickly rose and were destroyed in the Dark Ages, and their glorious structure lost to time, the very core of ONE of these long lost kingdoms may have recently been discovered, reports LiveScience.

According to reports, the mysterious Kingdom—known as the Kingdom of Rheged— is believed to have been one of the most elusive of ALL sixth-century kingdoms of Dark Agre Britain.

The Kingdom mostly occupied the territory of northern Britain in the sixth century and fell into obscurity after being deliberately destroyed at the beginning of the following century.

Interestingly, the kingdom of Rheged is said to have been ruled by King Urien, who appears in Arthurian legends. It is said that King Urien married King Arthur’s sister Morgan le Fay. As their marriage was not a happy one, Morgan desires to take Excalibur kill Urien and Arthur and place herself and her lover Accolon on the throne.

Previously, experts though the kingdom’s remains were located in Cumbria. The truth is that the exact location has remained unknown since medieval times, apparently until now.

In a book titled The Lost Dark Age Kingdom of Rheged by Dr. Bowles and fellow archaeologist, Ronan Toolis they write:

“Trusty’s Hill was likely the royal seat of Rheged, a kingdom that had Galloway as its heartland,” said Dr. Bowles, a Scottish Borders Council archaeologist.

“This was a place of religious, cultural and political innovation whose contribution to culture in Scotland has perhaps not been given due recognition. Yet the influence of Rheged, with Trusty’s Hill at its secular heart … and Urien its most famous king has nevertheless rippled through the history and literature of Scotland and beyond.”

On-site excavations discovered that Trusty’s Hill was in fact a complex type of fort, which dates back to around 600AD. Furthermore, experts concluded that the layout of the settlement is consistent with that of a high-status settlement during that period of history.

The authors added:

“The people living at Trusty’s Hill were not engaged in agriculture themselves”

“Instead, this household’s wealth relied on their control of farming, animal husbandry and the management of local natural resources – minerals and timber – from an estate probably spanning the wider landscape of the Fleet valley and estuary.

“Control was maintained by bonding the people of this land and the districts beyond to the royal household, by gifts, promises of protection and the bounties of raiding and warfare.”

The Fascinating Power Of Dolmens & Menhirs, Ancient Megalithic Wonders

Monoliths, also referred to as menhirs, dolmens or obelisks are upright stones that have been used to create impressively  -mysterious— structures all around the world.

These massive, fascinating ancient monuments can appear on their own, or as part of a group.

In the long sections of Mankind’s lost history, we must look at the time when ancient cultures managed to erect –somehow—huge megalithic construction using blocks of stone weighing from 1 to up to 100’s of tons.

Ancient mankind raised different kinds of megalithic blocks of stone arranging them as well as they could, taking advantage of certain peculiarities that some stones offered.

The ‘primitive’ techniques –sarcasm— allowed ancient cultures to move, place and position different rocks arranging them in specifics orders which, according to mainstream scholars, were consistent wth the thoughts, beliefs, and convictions of ancient man.

But what if ancient mankind knew something more about Dolmens and Menhirs that what we know nothing of today?

Is it possible that some of these megalithic structures were individually placed on our planet in order to take advantage of Earth’s natural energies? Is it possible that ancient cultures were aware of the existence of not only Earth’s energies, but of powers that originate deep inside the universe?

In the distant past, throughout centuries, ancient cultures raised some monuments that today receive a number of different denominations ranging from “Stonehenge’, ‘dolmens’,’ barrows’ and ‘menhirs’.

Many people will agree that most of these megalithic buildings have a magical and metaphysical sense.

Each monument was erected in a particular order and had a meaning that today mainstream scholars are unable to decipher.

These fascinating megalithic construction works are notable for two main things.

First of all, their size was beyond fascinating and secondly they were built thousands of years ago.

Today, researchers estimate that many of the megalithic monuments around the globe are the product of an ancient civilization that had the ability to erect such monuments as far as 8,000 B.C.

Gobekli Tepe, for example, is one of the most fascinating ancient structures ever raised by ancient man.

Located on a remote hilltop in southern Turkey is one of the oldest (if not oldest) ancient megalithic temples on our planet.

There, intricate massive stone pillars arranged into a set of rings stand tall and proud telling a millennia-old story when different civilizations ruled the over the planet.

The massive stones were believed to have been carved by Neolithic hunter-gatherers some 12,000 years ago, even though recent evidence points towards the fact that Göbekli Tepe was in fact built by a far more advanced society than researchers are willing to accept.

While Göbekli Tepe and Stonehenge are just some of the examples of megalithic buildings, the megalithic conception spread out to Asia, Europe, and Even the Americas.

In some regions, the megaliths gained greater significance than others, as is the case of Wales, Scotland, and England.

In Ireland and Scotland, hundreds of these monuments still stand tall, and many of these are hidden beneath the surface, waiting to be found and admired by modern society.

Looking at Nordic countries, we will see that many similar structures are found in Sweden, Norway, Denmark and even in Germany but if we venture out south, we will find similar structures in Portugal and Spain.

Interestingly, in France alone there are over five thousand dolmens and a large number of menhirs spread across the country.

The sheer number of these structures gives uns an idea about the importance of these ancient structures and the important role they placed in early society.

The standing stone of Er-Grah is one of the most fascinating yet unsung wonders of the ancient world. It is considered by mans as the largest megalith ever erected in history and was raised in France (Brittany) sometime around 4,700 B.C.

This fascinating ancient megalith weighed 280 tons, meaning that even modern machinery would find it challenging to move and erect.

It is believed that Er-Grah stood for 700 years before breaking into four pieces at around 4000 BCE.

It is as if megalithic structures were a global phenomenon before ancient cultures started erecting giant pyramids around the globe.

Many people firmly believe that menhirs had a magical and metaphysical connotation, like dolmens or tumuli, even though their meaning differed, since menhirs acted as a catalyst for telluric and cosmic energies since part of their structure was buried into the ground in order to capture the energy and connect it with that of the cosmos.

But also, these massive standing structures were also believed to harness cosmic energies and connect them with that of Earth.

Simply put, they acted as HUGE antennas connecting our planet with the universe and vice-versa.

Ancient cultures around the globe placed these megalithic structures in particular geographical areas, were through cosmic or astral ‘messages’, or direct knowledge, they discovered the existence of groundwater, magnetic rocks with a high concentration of radioactivity or other telluric energies as also a cosmic energy from outer space. This is believed to be one of the main reasons why ancient cultures raised massive menhirs around the globe, in order to harness these potent energies for their own benefit, to improve the life of their tribes, families or place where they lived.

All of this is considered to have been part of a now-lost ancient knowledge that improved the living conditions of ancient cultures around the globe.

Massive, 12,000-Year-Old Underground Tunnels Stretch From Scotland To Turkey

There are countless, extremely ancient underground tunnels and chambers that stretch across the European Continent. These massive, 12-000-year-old underground tunnels are the product of ancient man which was far more advanced and knowledgeable than what mainstream scholars are willing to accept. Are these tunnels the ultimate evidence of a lost culture inhabiting Europe?

Over 12,000 year ago, ancient people from Europe started building massive underground tunnels across the entire continent. No one knows why or how these tunnels were made, but they are among the most incredible features attributed to man thousands of years ago. In fact, over 10,000 years ago, ancient man was capable of erecting some of the most fascinating ancient structures known to man. Evidence of that is Göbekli Tepe.

Archaeologists have discovered in modern-day Germany thousands of underground tunnels that date back to the Stone Age. These tunnels spread throughout Europe, from Scotland to Turkey, leaving researchers puzzled about their original function.

What was the purpose of these enigmatic tunnels? Were they used as tombs? Where they giant chambers used for religious rituals? Or were these tunnels intricate hideouts meant to offer protection against predators? Or is it possible that 12,000 years ago, ancient man created these tunnels as a protection for a global cataclysm?

Throughout Europe, archaeologists have begun exploring the numerous tunnels.

Many researchers, among them German archaeologist Dr. Heinrich Kush, believe that these megalithic tunnels were used as modern-day highways, allowing the transition of people and connecting them to distant places across Europe. In the book Secrets Of The Underground Door To An Ancient World (German title: Tore zur Unterwelt), Dr. Kush states that evidence of massive underground tunnels has been found under dozens of Neolithic settlements all over the European continent. These tremendous tunnels are often referred to as ancient highways.

Interestingly, many of these large tunnels still exist today across Europe, and researchers are just beginning to locate and unearth them.

Dr. Kusch states that ‘Across Europe, there were thousands of these tunnels – from the north in Scotland down to the Mediterranean. They are interspersed with nooks, at some places, it’s larger, and there is seating, or storage chambers and rooms. They do not all link up but taken together it is a massive underground network.’

In his book, Dr. Henry Kush professor at the Karl-Franzen University in Graz, along with his wife Ingrid analyzes the intricate network of tunnels located in the region of Styria, in Austria, whose purpose remains a profound mystery.

Tunnels across Europe

So far, there aren’t any explanations about the tunnels function which satisfy researchers. However, there are radiocarbon tests performed on organic material found in the tunnels that date back thousands of years.

Many of the so-called chambers are connected to places of interest or ancient settlements. Tunnel entrances are sometimes found near old farm houses, near antique churches, and cemeteries, or in the middle of forests. These tunnels were built by people who knew exactly what they were doing. The builders of the tunnels were extremely knowledgeable and created the tunnels in such a way, that these gigantic subterranean highways survived tens of thousands of o years.

In fact, the ancient builders created a zig-zag building method which allowed the tunnels to support extreme weight.

Similar tunnels to those found in Austria and Germany have been discovered all around Europe. In fact, there are traces of subterranean tunnels in Spain, Hungary, Turkey, England and even Bosnia. However, no one has been able to explain how or why these ancient tunnels were built.

Some experts firmly believe that the extensive network of tunnels was a way devised by the ancient to protect themselves from the dangers of the outside world. Many researchers believe the tunnels were used as modern highways, allowing people to move freely across the continent in times of war or epidemics.

However, there are some researchers who believe that the network of tunnels in Europe is only a small discovery that will eventually lead towards a vast underground world waiting to be discovered.

However, it is surprising to understand –at least from a mainstream point of view—that people created these giant, intricate tunnels tens of thousands of years ago. While mainstream archaeologists firmly promote the belief that 10,000 years ago, ancient man was extremely primitive, incredible discoveries, like Göbekli Tepe, which is believed to be over 12,000 years old, the Pyramids of Giza and Stonehenge demonstrate that our ancestors possessed extremely advanced techniques, technologies and means that ultimately allowed them to erect some of the most important and unbelievable structures around the globe.

The discovery of the vast network of underground tunnels clearly indicates that ancient man did not spend his days hunting animals and gathering fruits thousands of years ago, but was dedicated to engineering works that required enormous intellectual resources and design.

However, these tunnels aren’t only exclusive to Europe. In fact, there are numerous ancient cultures around the globe which mention the existence of similar tunnels, leading to the underworld.

According to the Macuxi Indians of the Amazon, a vast network of tunnels connects our world to mysterious chambers located under the surface.

The Macuxi Indians are indigenous people who live in the Amazon, in countries such as Brazil, Guyana, and Venezuela. According to their legends, they are the descendants of the Sun’s children, the creator of Fire and disease and the protectors of the “inner Earth.”

Their oral legends speak of an entrance into Earth. Until the year 1907, the Macuxies would enter some sort of cavern, and travel from 13 to 15 days until they reached the interior. It is there, “at the other side of the world, in the inner Earth” is where the Giants live, creatures that have around 3-4 meters in height.

Next week, “Organic Ambitions: An Action Plan for organic food and farming in Scotland 2016-2020” will be unveiled in Scotland. The plan for organic food production is designed to help build a more sustainable farming future and stimulate the rural economy.

The January 27 launch will coincide with the first day of the Organic Research Center’s annual conference, being held in Bristol.

Organic Ambitions is a reboot of Organic Futures, an organic action plan produced in 2011 and revised in 2013, which was intended to strengthen Scotland’s organic food sector.

It is the work of the Scottish Organic Forum (SOF), which includes Soil Association Scotland, Scottish Organic Producers Association, Organic Growers Alliance, Caledonian Organics, Scottish Organic Milk Producers, Scottish Agricultural Organisation Society, Scotland’s Rural College, SAC Consulting, and The Scottish Government. [1]

The SOF says its goals include:

“Knowledge – Understanding the benefits that organic produce can bring to everyone and to our environment

Strength – Building a stronger Scottish organic supply chain to increase the availability of organic produce for everyone

Skills – Ensuring that everyone interested in learning about innovative organic production will have access to advice and training

Resilience – Strengthening the ability of organic farming to conserve and enhance Scotland’s biodiversity and natural resources, and in turn to build more resilient farms.” [2]

Wendy Seel, chairman of the SOF, explains:

“Organic Ambitions will aim to build knowledge about organics, strength in the organic supply chain and skills across the organic sector.”
