Remember the mysterious death of of Dr. Molly McAuley recently?

“SPACE ECONOMIST” MOLLY MACAULEY MURDERED

Well, Ms. M.W. found this article, and I have the suspicion that it might shed some light on that sad event:

So what is going on here? I suspect, as most readers here possibly do as well, that one has to read between the lines a bit to see what is really going on. Ponder these revelations:

CIA training artificial intelligence to spy on Earth from SPACE using ‘computer vision’

A CIA-linked firm has joined forces with Amazon in a bid to use “computer vision” to snoop on the Earth in unprecedented detail.

CosmiQ Works, a firm closely associated with the US intelligence agency, is working with the online retail giant and the satellite mapping firm DigitalGlobe to train algorithms to work out what’s happening on the surface of our planet.

Satellites can already capture astonishingly detailed images from up in space, but the CIA-linked project wants to go one step further and use artificial intelligence to analyse these pictures.

The real question is why the CIA would team up with Amazon in an effort to build-out a computer algorithm in conjunction with satellite imaging. And in my high octane speculation of the day, I suspect the real answer lies less in teaching computers to recognize anomalies in pictures and then to “flag” them for human analysis. The article would have us believe that that “objects” and “things” and even weather anomalies and being able to respond more quickly to “disasters” is the real goal here, in the usual method of introducing something by claiming it is “beneficial.”

I suspect the real goal is something completely different, and hence one has Amazon’s involvement with the project, for I suspect the real goal is to map in real time the flow of human populations, traffic, commodities, crops, and shipping, in order to form accurate real time pictures of financial and social flows, and to project from them strategic trends and movements. Couple such a computer-aided capability to spy satellite capabilities which would include radar tomography (sub-surface imaging) and one would also have a clear picture of hidden foreign infrastructures and with them, of hidden flows of goods, services, and finance.

This, of course, is a handy capability to have around if you’ve been running your own system of hidden finance for decades, and building enormous underground complexes for research, covert physical movement of goods and labor, and so on. Indeed, such a capability might imply…

Secret Space Program Conference [2015] – Catherine Austin Fitts – The Space Based Economy HD

July 7, 2016

Being one of the headliners of the SSP Conference, former Assistant Secretary of Housing and Urban Development, Catherine Austin Fitts [Solari.com], went next to last on the final day of the conference.

Being the monetary guru of the conference, her presentation is thus named “The Space-Based Economy.”

Fitts’ presentation begins with a rough outline of what the presentation will cover:

– Looking for the Money
– Mapping the Economics
– Building out The Low-Earth Orbit Infrastructure
– Unanswered Questions: Closed vs. Open Economy
– Practical Implications To You

From the outset Fitts’ commences by explaining how she got entangled into this abstruse subject.  At the nascent point of her quest, she began simply by looking for $4 Trillion dollars that went missing from the US Government.

She proceeds to take a cursory glance at the amount of money spent in space by the most powerful economies.   Thereafter, she hones in on a more disturbing machination, which regards how much money the military has ‘lost track of’.  This outrageous incident, which isn’t the only one, adds up to the tune of $2.3 Trillion dollars.

There in Fitts’ tackles this monumental issue by delineating the fact that a whopping $40 Trillion dollars is what she estimates the black-budget brigade has siphoned from private households as well as the US Govt. and other places.  The obvious question she poses:  “Where did it go?”

She alludes that that enormous amount of money would be sufficient to run a global government behind the scenes, it could have gone into space, or a few other places such as the black budget and such.

With a bit of humor, she picks on Lockheed Martin with a few of caricature jokes  for obvious reasons, given their stature as contractor and highly probable tentacles within off-world ventures.

Fitts’ proceeds to show a chart which shows a comparison between the NASDAQ, the SP500, & Lockheed Martin’s stock, as well as pointing out a few notable points regarding these three charts.

After that she speaks of a waver that the National Security Advisor can give that will allow him to delegate to companies the ability to wave the compliance of SSC Transparency Rules.  This is quite intense, because with that any company can undertake black budget projects and many other dealings.

Fitts’ splits up the economy into two regions, the Low-Earth Orbit, which manages the flows related to resources primarily on Earth.  This is where 90% of the economic action is.  The other area is space exploration, and she says its profoundly different economics between L.E.O. and space exploration.

One interesting aspect is her take on exploration.  She mentions how exploration has always usually been a risky venture historically, and can be quite detrimental to a society.  This would only be more exacerbated in space.  Due to that she proceeds to touch lightly upon the fact that the establishment needs to figure out how to handle the political/economic risks of these ventures.

As an example, she talks about how Scottland undertook ‘The Darien Project’, which wound up being a bust, and wiped out 20-25% of the capital of the country.  This is a small, but incisive reminder into the risks of explorations that a country needs to heed.

Knowing the incoming Space Race that is coming, the establishment is pushing heavily into reigniting the interest of space.  Because of this, space ports are popping up everywhere.  Fitts covers a few aspect of this new corporate space race.

Subsequent to that Fitts covers the crucial need to minimizing cost of delivering payloads into space.  In the past, control of the sea lanes was linked to the economy, but now, coupled with that the satellite lines are the ones that are in need of policing.  Due to that, there is an incoming traffic jam in space of countries that are realizing the need of putting satellites into orbit and the advantages that can have due to the Snowden revelations.

The competitive aspect of manufacturing is then addressed quite well by Fitts.  She talks about “..building a domestic manufacturing infrastructure not just here but in other countries around the world where they can break through, break free, a huge amount of industrial capacity so they can support the cost of going not space.”  Japan’s tech giants are mentioned as one of the ones carrying this out.

One of the most notable points follows:  “The goal of what is going on in that space is…about the control and concentrations of flows on planet Earth including cashflow.”  This is because the control and concentration of cashflow are arguably the two largest factors to focus upon regarding the space-based economy.

The amount of total satellite launched in space is covered thereafter, with Russia, China, and USA focused on.  Satellite Industry Revenues is also mentioned.  The focus should be on the digital information going through the satellite.

A thorough Chronology of the Building Out Of GPS is there in shown.  Coupled with that she seeps into the supporting digital systems and the “smart grids” that support the satellites.  The main point behind all those tools is “Who can get the data from here to there the fastest”.   This is the foundation for space-based operations in the Low-Orbit sector.   One highly notable bullet point was the one covering Weaponry, which included: Surveillance, Intelligence, Coordination And Unmanned Forces [Drones, Robots]; Entrainment and Electronic Harassment; Offensive and Defensive Weaponry.   This is in order to be able to use force with unmanned capabilities from a distance, if the need to go to a defensive posture arises.   Soft weapons are also mentioned as a cause for concern given their increasing use.  If am not mistaken, Fitts’ had an interview with Charles Hugh Smith covering some aspects of Soft-Weaponry on her Solari Website.  All this centers upon mind control of the individual.

Another profound quote by Fitts is shared in regards to power, and money:

“If you look at the competition for resources globally, the shift of investment eastward means that the military must enforce.  Nobody puts money where they can’t enforce.  That means, as the money moves globally, so must the military.  It’s simply the nature of the investment model.”
– The Solari Report

This is all leading to a rebalancing of power that is currently taking place globally.

Sinking her teeth into an abstruse aspect of this global move, Fitts focuses thereafter on the rise of internet uses globally.  As she mentions, in its nascent stages in 1995, less than 1% of the Global Population was on the internet.  However, in 2005, there were 1 Billion internet uses.  This had tripled by 2014, and increased slightly more thereafter.  All of this has come due to the lower cost of smartphones nowadays, which has aided greatly in this user expansion.

“Why is this important?  One of the most important drivers  of economic in space and in the low-earth Orbit is what?  Fiat currency.”  All of this is headed towards a global digital currency of some effect.

The debt-based fiat game is then talked about quite incisively as to how that plays out in the global scheme, and how that interludes into global control and military capacity.

The One-Way Mirror is the addressed by Fitts’.  This regards the surveillance platform that is being implemented that is so intrusive, so  far-reaching, and so breathtaking that is beyond astonishing.  Due to that, she focuses on the importance of knowing about entrainment, subliminal programming, financial manipulation, soft weapons, and aspects of the CIA/NSA/Google [Nafeez Ahmed] and more.

Women are thence focused upon Fitts, and it’s quite fascinating, as the establishment has made an enormous effort to play the woman card.  What is meant by this is that women in every aspect o the world are being promoted.  This is because the global female population has a GNP that’s bigger than China.  Essentially, women control an enormous economic arm of the globe.  This is something that is going to play itself out from here on out.

Fitts continues: “Control is not control of countries and municipalities or government leaders.  Control is control of every one of you and I using racial based technology, artificial intelligence and a lot of these different technologies.”

The global fight for the internet is then addressed by Fitts.

Subsequently, she covers the Peace Of Westphalia.

The Peace Of Westphalia [1648] was the political agreement which was the end of the medieval period, because it came up with a philosophy of sovereignty that gave a monopoly of force on a the sovereign government.  Before that a lot of nation states and mercenaries were able to field power.

Soon thereafter, Fitts moves from there to Unanswered Questions: Is Earth An Open Or A Closed Economy?

– Who Owns The Debt?
– What Is The Gold Inventory?
– Who Is behind The One Way Mirror?
– Who Controls The “Smart Grid?”
– Black Budgets, Dark Pools, Hidden Systems Of Finance: Is There Such A Thing As Markets?
– Digital Currencies: Who Controls?
– What Are The Economic Costs Of Disinformation?

The above questions are delved into by Fitts’ in a poignant manner.  She makes some interesting, and yet, quite provocative statements regarding the above points/questions.

Catherine Austin Fitts finalizes her presentation with all the things the individual can do.  This is my most favorite aspect of her presentation because she is always hammering on the importance of what people can do at the individual, local level of their community.   Not from a fear point of view, not from a doom-and-gloom, but in a way that is realistic, practical and energetic way.

Jon Rappoport also hones in on this quite regularly in his website NoMoreFakeNews.com and on JonRappoport.wordpress.com.

If you wish to learn more about Fitts’ work, you can go to Solari.com, which is her website, or you can goggle Youtube to watch many of her interviews.

Catherine Austin Fitts’ work is highly respected here, and with great reason.  Her approach is always reasonable, methodical, fearless and extremely educational in many ways.

If you have time please check out her work.  You will not be disappointed.

The Black Knight Satellite Finally Under Surveillance? The Military Launches Top-Secret Satellite Into Orbit

June 23, 2016

The mysterious satellite was sent into orbit on Saturday, carried by a Delta IV Heavy Rocket. The secret payload belongs to the National Reconnaissance Office, which picked a rather unusual mission emblem: A Black Knight.

Interestingly, as the world’s largest rocket launched from Cape Canaveral carrying the secret payload, the live feed from the launch was cut after six minutes in order to maintain the payloads secrecy.

Its real mission remains a profound mystery, and we can only guess what it will be doing in space. However, many have started speculating that the enigmatic logo chosen by the National Reconnaissance Office is a tell-tale sign that gives off the satellite’s true purpose in space: the study of the Black Knight Satellite.

The mystery satellite has been spotted by amateur astronomers over the trail of Malacca. According to sources, the secret payload belonging to the National Reconnaissance Office is, in fact, a ‘Mentor’ Satellite; wich will be used to pick u electronic signals.

According to the United Launch Alliance, the mission was ‘in support of national defense’.

Amateur astronomers detailed the discovery of the satellite on the blog belonging to Marco Langbroek, a satellite tracker who helped guide Paul Camilleri toward the discovery, along with fellow sky gazer Ted Molczan.

According to their calculation, the satellite was discovered somewhere near latitude 104E. Just over the Strait of Malacca. According to astronomers, the satellite appears to be drifting westward.

‘My guess (and no more than that) is that it will eventually stop drifting near either 80 E (south of Sri Lanka) or perhaps 10 E (over central Africa),’ Langbroek writes in his blog.

‘The reason for the initial placement near 104 E is likely that in this position it is initially well placed for the Pine Gap Joint Defense Facility ground station in central Australia (one of two facilities dedicated to NRO SIGINT payloads) during the initial check-out phase.’

According to Langbroek’s blog, the top-secret satellite is most likely a Mentor Satellite, following the launch of SIX others between 1995 and 2012. Langbroek writes that the massive mentor satellites are in fact SIGINT satellites which are used to ‘listen’ for radio signals.

As millions of people were watching the launch of the secretive ‘NROL-37’ mission for the National Reconnaissance Office (NRO), six minutes after launch, the live feed was cut. According to the CBS, the rocket may have in fact carried one of the most powerful surveillance satellites dubbed ‘Mentor’, which are able to pick up electronic signals from ships.

The NRO has not released any information about the mission or what the rocket was carrying into space.

Ted Molzcan, an amateur satellite analyst, told CBS: ‘If the NRO is the customer and it’s a Delta IV-Heavy out of Florida, then all the precedents have been heavy signals intelligence-type satellites.’

The powerful satellite launched by the National Reconnaissance Office has one of the biggest antennas in space and is able to pick up electronic signals from ships, aircraft, ground stations, and other satellites.

According to the CBS, after the signals are processed by the spy-satellite, the transmission is encrypted and transmitted back to US authorities.

The only thing the NRO explained is the ominous ‘Black Knight logo.’

According to their Facebook page:

‘The knight stands in front of the US flag in a defensive posture as to protect at all cost. The eagle on the chest is a symbol of both freedom and the United States of America. The sword is a message of tenacious, fierce focus with the claws representing extreme reach with global coverage.’

It’s real mission remains a profound mystery, and we can only guess what it will be doing in space. However, many have started speculating that the enigmatic logo chosen by the National Reconnaissance Office is a tell-tale sign that gives off the satellite’s true purpose in space: the study of the Black Knight Satellite.

The Black Knight Satellite has been one of the most controversial ‘artificial satellites’ orbiting our planet. The discovery of the Black Knight Satellite is perhaps one of the most (in)famous space objects to orbit our Planet. This “Artificial Satellite” has caused major media interest since the late 50’s, and it has become one of the most talked about objects in space. First thought to be a Russian spy satellite, the Black Knight has gripped the interest of millions worldwide.

The story of the Black Knight made its media debut in the 1940’s when the St. Louis Dispatch and The San Francisco Examiner wrote about the “Satellite” on May 14th, 1954. The Time Magazine wrote about it on the seventh of March, 1960. Here is what they said about it.

Three weeks ago, headlines announced that the U.S. had detected a mysterious “dark” satellite wheeling overhead on a regular orbit. There was nervous speculation that it might be a surveillance satellite launched by the Russians, and it brought the uneasy sensation that the U.S. did not know what was going on over its own head. But last week the Department of Defense proudly announced that the satellite had been identified. It was a space derelict, the remains of an Air Force Discoverer satellite that had gone astray. Read the complete story by visiting the Time Magazine website.

On August 23, 1954, the technology magazine Aviation Week and Space Technology released a story that angered the Pentagon, who were trying to keep the information secret. The short article stated:

Pentagon scare over the observance of two previously unobserved satellites orbiting the earth has dissipated with the identification of the objects as natural, not artificial satellites. Dr. Lincoln LaPaz, expert on extraterrestrial bodies from the University of New Mexico, headed the identification project. One satellite is orbiting about 400 miles out, while the other track is 600 miles from the earth. Pentagon thought momentarily the Russians had beaten the U.S. to space explorations.

But many other news agencies have written about the strange object believed to be locked in polar orbit around our planet.

Stratfor: How To Avoid Space Wars

STRATFOR: HOW TO AVOID SPACE WARS

May 24, 2016

As you can tell, this week has been a busy week for space news, and we’ve been focussing on it the past few days. Unfortunately, space isn’t the only thing in the news, and my “inbox” and “finals pile” of articles burgeons with articles to blog about, and I wish I could, but there is only so much time in a day and only so much energy in one individual blogger (me). But this one, accompanied by today’s “tidbit” are indicators of just how much thought is being given to space-related matters behind the scenes.

In today’s article, shared by a regular reader here, Mr. E.G., there are no movie commercials, no references to little green men from Pentagon generals, but rather a great deal of sobering geopolitical reflection:

Avoiding a War in Space

Note that the article is focused on the usual culprits: (1) the disproportionate reliance of the US military on space-based assets for communications and to act as force multipliers for the global reach of the US military as opposed to (2) the more regional geopolitical interests of such powers as Russia and China, which accordingly makes them less-space reliant, and therefore (3) more willing to entertain “assymetrical” risks and responses to the American space platforms, and to contemplate “soft techniques” of blinding those space assets without escalating to full scale physical destruction of American satellites:

Spain, USA To Share Space Monitoring Data

March 2, 2016

This very intriguing article appeared last month, two days before the “Apollo 10 Moon Music” article which we blogged about yesterday. In other words, this article and the “Moon Music” article appeared within two days of each other, and it is little things like this that cause me to sit up and take notice, and to wonder if one is not perhaps looking at a pattern of deliberate, slow releases of information that, while appearing normal and mundane in their own right, when connected to other stories about the same egenral topic that appear in more or less the same sort of time, might indicate that “something is going on out there, and it has ‘them’ concerned.” Well, in that light, consider this article shared by Mr. T.M.:

US, Spain to Jointly Monitor Outer Space Traffic

There’s a couple of paragraphs here that picqued my high octane speculation faculty, and they are these:

Nine nations have previously signed separate agreements with STRATCOM: the United Kingdom, South Korea, France, Canada, Italy, Japan, Israel, Germany and Australia, the release noted.

In addition, two intergovernmental organizations, the European Space Agency and the European Organization for the Exploitation of Meteorological Satellites, as well as more than 50 commercial satellite providers, are already participating in data-sharing agreements with STRATCOM.

What’s notable here is that the list of nations involved in the space data sharing basically constitute a who’s who of the major economic powers of the West, so Spain’s addition to this list is not that surprising. Nor is it surprising that all of this is being coordinated by STRATCOM (U.S. Strategic Command), for after all, any strategic attack from the west, whether terrestrial in origin or not, is likely to come through space.

What intrigues me more here is the participation of commercial satellite providers. Again, in one sense, this is not surprising, since any attacks on the west are also likely to be coordinated with a blinding of satellite capability of any sort, military or otherwise.

Russia &China Ink Massive Space Industry Cooperation Deals

Source: GizaDeathStar.com
Dr. Joseph P. Farrell
January 4, 2016

One of the things I suspect we can look forward to in 2016 – along with an ever-crazier geopolitical situation, if current trends continue – is the expansion of international space industry, and this pace, I suspect, will only intensify in the coming year. Consider this story from Dec. 21st last year, shared by Mr. J.H.:

RUSSIAN SPACE Russia, China Sign Range of Space Industry Agreements

The sweeping implications here are worth spelling out explicitly. Ponder these revelations;

The sides signed a cooperation agreement on navigation technologies and the use of the Russian satellite navigation system Glonass. Russian state-owned nanotechnology company RUSNANO and the China Aerospace Science and Industry Corporation also signed a strategic partnership agreement.

Among other documents, Russia and China also signed a strategic cooperation agreement on the development of Russian company I-Teco’s cloud computing and data processing center, the other parties to the deal were the China-Eurasia Economic Cooperation Fund and the Huawei company.

Russia, China Develop High-Precision Navigation System Draft for SCO, BRICS

On Monday, Russia’s GLONASS Union said Russia and China would also finalize a deal this month to establish two joint ventures to develop, manufacture and sell new satellite navigation devices that would receive signals from three major navigation systems, BeiDou, GLONASS and US Global Positioning System (GPS).

If one reads a bit between the lines here, there are several implications that bear mentioning. Firstly, while the earth-bound competition between the BRICSA bloc and the West will ratchet up, particularly in space matters as well as geopolitically, the real question is why there is a need for such a muscular presence in space, one that is clearly designed to integrate the Russian and American GPS systems, as well as to crunch enormous amounts of data. I strongly suspect that this is because space-monitoring and communications redundancy is being built into the global space monitoring systems in the guise of this competition between the West and Russia/China. As more and more satellites – and the coming age of microsatellites – turn local Earth-space into a debris cloud, that the ability to monitor all those satellites via open and not military systems had become the major pressing issue. The bottom line here is that redundancy is being built into the system, and this brings us to our second point:
