You gotta love it when arrogant science devotees defiantly claim they alone have a monopoly on the “settled facts” of our reality. Throughout much of the 20th century, it turns out, these same sort of arrogant scientists claimed smoking was awesome for your health, too.

“More doctors smoke Camels than any other cigarette” was the headline of a full-page ad carried by the Journal of the American Medical Association. Doctors were paid by Big Tobacco to tout the amazing health benefits of smoking cigarettes, and any doctor who dared point out that smoking might be linked to cancer was subjected to the same industry blackballing, scientific censorship and verbal abuse that’s leveled today against honest researchers questioning the safety of GMOs or mercury in vaccines.

The real truth is that science never has a monopoly on facts, and science makes enormous mistakes (such as condoning smoking cigarettes) on a regular basis. Science is also for sale and easy corrupted by corporate interests.

Peer-reviewed science journals, too, are often little more than a collection of corporate-funded make-believe science tabloids. “It is simply no longer possible to believe much of the clinical research that is published, or to rely on the judgment of trusted physicians or authoritative medical guidelines,” writes the former editor of The New England Journal of Medicine, Marcia Angell.

“I take no pleasure in this conclusion, which I reached slowly and reluctantly over my two decades as an editor of The New England Journal of Medicine,” she says in Drug Companies & Doctors: A Story of Corruption.

With that in mind, take a look at the similarities between Big Tobacco science lies and vaccine industry science lies:

All prostate cancer treatments negatively impact the quality of life in male patients, a recent study showed. As part of the study, researchers pooled data from the Expanded Prostate Cancer Index Composite and examined nearly 6,000 prostate cancer patients. The research team found that that sexual function was the most affected area in men’s health following prostate cancer treatment. The researchers also noted the biggest declines in the patients’ sexual function following surgery.

The study also found that open surgery resulted in the greatest decline in sexual function among various prostate cancer surgeries. However, the study also showed that robot-assisted laparoscopic surgery fared better than open surgery in returning sexual function in patients. The research team also found that patients who had robot-assisted laparoscopic surgery exhibited sexual function returns comparable with those who had other treatments such as brachytherapy and radiation at 24 months following surgery.

The study also showed that urinary incontinence was worse for patients who had open surgery than those who had robot-assisted surgery. The experts also noted that bowel scores were lowest in patients who underwent radiation therapy, while urinary irritative symptoms were lowest in those who had brachytherapy.

“We hope our patient-reported outcomes and the comprehensive data collection in this cancer registry study will not only shed light on better patient counseling and care, but also better tracking of outcomes measurements in today’s healthcare climate,” said lead author Dr. Gary Chien, as published in UPI.com.

The findings were published in the BJU International.

Prostate cancer treatments worsen life quality in other studies

A large number of studies have previously found a correlation between prostate cancer treatments and worse quality of life in men. For instance, a 2013 study found that radical prostatectomy led to a significant deterioration in the patients’ sexual function compared with external beam radiotherapy and brachytherapy. Likewise, radical prostatectomy was associated with worse urinary summary scores and greater deterioration in urinary function than external beam radiotherapy and brachytherapy. However, patients who underwent brachytherapy showed worse irritative/obstructive urinary scale than the other two treatments. The results were published in the British Journal of Cancer. Another study published in Oncology Nursing Forum showed that prostate cancer patients who underwent surgery exhibited worse urinary and sexual function than those who underwent radiation therapy. However, surgery patients displayed better bowel function compared with radiation patients.

In addition, a study revealed that prostate cancer treatments have a lasting impact on the patients’ sexual function and overall perception of sexuality. As part of research, health experts examined 48 patients with early-stage prostate cancer and assessed the effects of treatment in four domains related to sexuality. The research team found that prostate cancer treatment had a negative impact on the patients’ intimate and non-intimate lives. The treatment was also found to affect how the patients see themselves as sexual beings. The results published in the Journal of General Internal Medicine demonstrate the early-stage prostate cancer treatment poses extensive effects on the patients’ quality of life, the researchers wrote.

Declining sexual function was also associated with the onset of depressive symptoms in prostate cancer patients, a study found. To carry out the study, researchers examined more than 300 prostate cancer patients. In general, the patients scored a low two on a scale of one to five when asked about their ability to maintain an erection. The researchers found that erectile dysfunction was linked to the onset of depression in patients. Other factors such as marital status, social support, and anxiety scores also appeared to drive depression in patients, the experts noted. Data from a multivariate analysis found that erectile dysfunction remained a primary risk factor for depression in patients. The findings were published in the Journal of Sexual Medicine.

Frankincense Oil Kills Cancer Cells While Boosting The Immune System, Studies Show

Frankincense

Frankincense is a powerful medicinal oil that can not only boost the immune system but also kill cancer cells, a number of studies have shown.

One of the most significant recent studies was conducted by researchers from the University of Leicester, England, in 2013. The researchers found that the naturally occurring frankincense compound acetyl-11-keto-beta-boswellic acid (AKBA) targeted and destroyed ovarian cancer cells. The findings were particularly significant because they showed that AKBA had this effect even in late-stage ovarian cancer patients, not just in laboratory trials performed on isolated cells.

“Frankincense is taken by many people with no known side effects,” lead researcher Kamla Al-Salmani said. This finding has enormous potential to be taken to a clinical trial in the future and developed into an additional treatment for ovarian cancer.”

Kills cancer and reduces radiation side effects

The Leicester findings build on a large and still growing body of evidence that frankincense and its compounds have powerful immune-boosting and cancer-fighting benefits.

A study published in BMC Complementary and Alternative Medicine in 2009, for example, found that the herbal form of frankincense triggered death in bladder cancer cells by activating several different cellular pathways. Another study, conducted by researchers from Nihon University in Tokyo and published in Biological and Pharmaceutical Bulletin, showed that several chemical components of frankincense were able to kill three separate human neuroblastoma cell lines. The same study also found that frankincense inhibited the growth of Epstein-Barr virus.

Neuroblastoma is a type of cancer that forms in nerve cells and primarily affects young children. Other studies have shown that frankincense and its components can kill cancers of the brain, breast, colon, pancreas, prostate and stomach.

Frankincense may also help mitigate the often-debilitating side effects of cancer treatment. One study, published in the journal Cancer in 2011, was performed on brain cancer patients experiencing cerebral edema (swelling) as a side effect of radiation therapy. The researchers found that 60 percent of participants given frankincense experienced a 75 percent reduction in cerebral swelling, a potent enough result for the authors to recommend frankincense as a potential alternative to steroids, the current favored treatment. Side effects of steroids can include headaches, blurred vision and migraines.

All-around immune booster

Frankincense’s cancer-fighting benefits seem to come, in part, from its potent effects on the immune system. One study, conducted by researchers from Baylor University Medical Center, found that acts upon the expression of genes that help regulate the immune system, leading to cancer cell death. Another study, published in Phytotherapy Research, found that mice given frankincense exhibited increases in several key markers of immune function, primarily levels of white blood cells (lymphocytes) and anti-inflammatory activity.

Numerous studies have confirmed frankincense as a powerful anti-inflammatory. This, along with its other immune-boosting properties, may in part explain its usefulness in fighting infection and in treating autoimmune conditions such as asthma, rheumatoid arthritis and inflammatory bowel disease (IBD).

Frankincense can also be used to heal skin, including from acne and scarring, and can reduce anxiety levels.

If you wish to incorporate frankincense as a regular natural hBealth booster, it can be taken as an undiluted essential oil on the skin or as a few drops under the tongue. It can also be diffused and breathed in for respiratory conditions. Frankincense can also be purchased and consumed in powdered capsule form.

There are numerous species of frankincense, including Boswellia carteri, B. serrata and B. sacra. All three of these species have shown powerful anti-cancer effects in scientific tests.

B. carteri, native to east Africa, has been the species most heavily studied. B. sacra, also known as “sacred frankincense,” was until recently restricted to use by the Saudi royal household, and could only be purchased in Oman. Recently, however, a distillery opened up in Oman to produce essential oil of B. sacra for public sale.

April 29, 2016

We’re often told that early detection is a key in beating cancer. But is that really the case? Dr. Phranq Tamburri discusses some big issues that arise when talking about early detection. He deals with prostate cancer, but it may apply to many other cancers. What he says will make you really think about early cancer detection.

STUDY: Long Term Use Of Xanax, Valium, Klonopin & Other Psychoactives May Lead o Cancer

Psych meds

Benzodiazepines (BZDs), the group of central nervous system depressants known to create feelings of calm, sleep and drowsiness, are under fire for findings that suggest they may lead to cancer. This means that the likes of Valium, Xanax, Klonopin, and a host of other psychoactives, are playing a role in chipping away at people’s health, putting them at risk for one of the most life-threatening diseases around.

The finding comes from experts who engaged in a longitudinal population-based case-control study in which information was assessed from the Taiwan National Health Insurance database. The goal was to determine any association between use of BZDs and cancer risk in people who were 20 years of age or older.

Unsurprisingly, but still terribly saddening, they found that the answer was a very likely “yes.”

The psych med-cancer link

According to the published study entitled, Is Long-term Use of Benzodiazepine a Risk for Cancer?, there’s a correlation between BZDs and specific cancers. The study notes that it was observed “… that benzodiazepines exposure increased the overall cancer risk up to 21%, specifically for brain 98%, colorectal 25%, lung 10%, esophagus 59%, prostate 36%, bladder 39%, liver 18%, pancreas 41% and other cancers 27%.”

While they suggest that, “therapeutic effectiveness of BZDs should be monitored closely for long-term users” in order to fully understand the scope of the implications, the experts don’t shy away from the likelihood that the use of such drugs poses cancer-causing threats. They write that “… we assume that risk of cancers could be associated with individual BZD, which might have some relationship only with particular cancers etiology need to be identified.”

The mind-altering drugs most of us don’t need, but are prescribed anyway

Unfortunately, many of us are walking around with a variety of psychoactives in our systems, popping pills like it’s going out of style. In fact, it’s all part of a vicious cycle in which doctors prescribe psych meds to people who – in many cases – don’t even need them. At the same time, such medical experts enjoy the perks that come with Big Pharma bribes, in the form of cash, decadent meals and fancy vacations.

So, while your health is put in jeopardy, some doctors literally laugh all the way to the bank. It’s of grave concern that this behavior continues; doctors who do this are playing a role in the approximately 5 million deaths that have occurred in the West just in the past decade alone – and it’s all due to unnecessarily prescribing psych medications to people who don’t really need them in the first place.

Not only are such drugs linked to certain cancers, as the aforementioned study shows, but they’re also associated with suicides and other worrisome issues.

In addition to cancer, psych meds linked to suicides, mass shootings

The British Medical Journal found that antidepressant drugs increase the risk of suicide and aggressive behavior; although this was especially so in people under the age of 18, the finding involved all age groups. A total of 70 trials were assessed to examine the safety and effectiveness of the most common antidepressants available to consumers, and it was found that such medications put the under-18 age group at double the risk of suicide.

Use of BZDs is even linked to the surge in mass shootings that seem to be occurring just about every other day. Surely, it’s not just a coincidence that the amount of prescriptions tripled between 1996 and 2013, while the number of overdoses quadrupled – quadrupled! – during that same time. What else has been happening though the years? You guessed it – a ridiculous number of mass shootings and acts of violence, in which it’s often discovered that the person or people involved were taking mind-altering psych meds.
