TRG 2016: All Neem Oil is Not The Same & Garden Hand Pump Sprayers: Azadirachtin is What You Want

Many products say Neem Oil but they are NOT 100% cold pressed Neem Oil. If you buy those products you are buying the hydrophobic extract of Neem Oil which is code for garbage. You might as well just use any oil. You want the chemical Azadirachtin in your Neem oil. It is the Neem Oil component that makes it unique and it is what kills chewing insects. A hand pump sprayer will save you time and effectively spray a fine mist. It is a must for the garden.

MFG 2016: Using Diatomaceous Earth on Seed Starts for Fungus Gnats & A Bottom Watering Trick: Ideas!

Diatomaceous Earth can be used on microscopic worms/insects/larvae in your indoor seed start mixes and transplant mixes. It has sharp edges that damage the pests. This is how my friends use it on microscopic pests like hatched fungus gnats. I also use neem oil and cinnamon and show you how I use a water bottle to create a trick to bottom water my container transplants so the surface is not disturbed. You want the surface to dry out. You don’t need to do all these things but might find an idea that helps you.
