Things just keep getting worse for Monsanto: Not only has the biotech firm been found guilty of crimes against humanity by the International Monsanto Tribunal, the corporation has also recently been involved in a number of scandals. First, it came to light that the world’s most hated company had been colluding with the EPA, and now they’re being accused of yet another misdeed.

Recently obtained court documents have revealed that Monsanto has been secretly feeding money to “think tanks,” such as the infamous Genetic Literacy Project. From the document obtained by US Right To Know:

Monsanto quietly funnels money to “think tanks” such as the “Genetic Literacy Project” and the “American Council on Science and Health,” organizations intended to shame scientists and highlight information helpful to Monsanto and other chemical producers.

For example, the American Council on Science and Health has recently published articles accusing the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) of ignoring the “science” on glyphosate. The Genetic Literacy Project, led by exposed wife beater and former Forbes.com writer Jon Entine, has also published articles calling for the IARC to possibly be abolished and has even gone so far to accuse the US of “unwittingly funding” conspiracies against Monsanto.

Sources say that these allegations are backed up by a string of emails which were used in court as evidence. Some of these exchanges even involved Monsanto executives instructing their staff to “ghost write” material on their products and then have some phony “independent scientists” sign their names to cut back on costs. One such exchange occurred between Monsanto’s William Heydens and his colleagues:

A less expensive/more palatable approach might be to involve experts only for the areas of contention, epidemiology and possibly MOA (depending on what comes out of the IARC meeting), and we ghost-write the Exposure Tox & Genetox sections. An option would be to add Greim and Kier or Kirkland to have their names on the publication, but we would be keeping the cost down by us doing the writing and they would just edit & sign their names so to speak. Recall that is how we handled Williams Kroes & Munro, 2000.

In addition to the emails and evidence of Monsanto’s collusion with government agencies and “think tank” organizations, there is also reason to believe that Monsanto has been hiring “trolls” to defend the company on the web — and to attack anyone who dares speak out against them.

Evidence presented in the pretrials of Monsanto court cases at the US District Court in San Francisco has revealed that under their ever-so-aptly titled “Let Nothing Go” program, Monsanto reportedly hired individuals who appeared to have no relation to the company for the sole purpose of trolling the internet with positive comments, defend Monsanto, and praise their toxic chemicals and GMO crops.

The goal of the “Let Nothing Go” program is “to leave nothing, not even Facebook comments, unanswered…” and the plaintiffs say that Monsanto has been targeting all forms of social media and other online materials under this initiative. Even comments on social networks that merely mention the potential hazards of things like glyphosate or genetically modified crops have been targeted by Monsanto’s trolls.

Anti-GMO activists like Mike Adams, the Health Ranger, have been particularly susceptible to these attacks. Unsurprisingly, Adams has been a prime target for GMO trolls: The Genetic Literacy Project and other shills have published hit pieces on him and other activists — all with the goal of trying to discredit them and silence journalists who expose Monsanto’s nefarious operations.

The evidence revealed in these court documents certainly leaves Monsanto with a lot of explaining to do. But it seems that they are already losing in the court of public opinion. (RELATED: Learn more about Monsanto at MonsantoMafia.com)

Leaked DNC Emails Confirm Democrats Rigged Primary, Reveal Extensive Media Collusion

Source: ZeroHedge.com
July 23, 2016

There are three key findings to emerge from yesterday’s dump of leaked DNC emails released by Wikileaks:

  • There had been a plot designed to smear Bernie Sanders and to hand the Democratic nomination to Hillary on a silver platter
  • There has been repeated collusion between the DNC and the media
  • There has been questionable fundraising for both Hillary Clinton and the DNC

First, a quick recap for those who missed the original report, yesterday Wikileaks released over 19,000 emails and more than 8,000 attachments from the Democratic National Committee. This is what the whistleblower organization reported:

WikiLeaks releases 19,252 emails and 8,034 attachments from the top of the US Democratic National Committee — part one of our new Hillary Leaks series. The leaks come from the accounts of seven key figures in the DNC: Communications Director Luis Miranda (10770 emails), National Finance Director Jordon Kaplan (3797 emails), Finance Chief of Staff Scott Comer (3095 emails), Finance Director of Data & Strategic Initiatives Daniel Parrish (1472 emails), Finance Director Allen Zachary (1611 emails), Senior Advisor Andrew Wright (938 emails) and Northern California Finance Director Robert (Erik) Stowe (751 emails). The emails cover the period from January last year until 25 May this year.d

Subsequently, the Romanian hacker known as Guccifer 2.0 (who has denied he works with the Russian government), who has already released hundreds of hacked DNC emails previously, told The Hill he leaked the documents to Wikileaks.

An initial read of the thousands of emails in the data dump reveals top officials at the Democratic National Committee privately plotting to undermine Bernie Sanders’s presidential campaign, confirming a long-running allegation by the Sanders campaign who has claimed that the DNC and Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz had tipped the scales in favor of Hillary Clinton during the party’s presidential primary. They also reveal instances of media collusion as well as various questionable instances of fundraising.

Plotting Against Bernie Sanders

In an email from early May, DNC CFO Brad Marshall wrote about a plot to question Sanders’s religion. While not naming the Vermont senator directly, it talks about a man of “Jewish heritage” Marshall believes to be an atheist. It makes reference to voters in Kentucky and West Virginia, two states that were holding upcoming primary elections.

“It might may no difference, but for KY and WVA can we get someone to ask his belief. Does he believe in a God. He had skated on saying he has a Jewish heritage. I think I read he is an atheist. This could make several points difference with my peeps. My Southern Baptist peeps would draw a big difference between a Jew and an atheist,” the email says.

“AMEN,” DNC Chief Executive Officer Amy K. Dacey replied.

Marshall did not respond to a request for comment. But he did tell The Intercept, which first noticed the email, “I do not recall this. I can say it would not have been Sanders. It would probably be about a surrogate.”

* * *

In an email that concerned Sanders out-polling Clinton in Rhode Island, where the state reportedly only had a fraction of voting stations open, one staffer took a contemptuous tone of Sanders’ supporters,  speaking about them more as a nuisance than an arm of the party. “If she outperforms this polling, the Bernie camp will go nuts and allege misconduct,” the staffer writes, “They’ll probably complain regardless, actually.”

* *  *

Another email shows similar ‘us and them’ language being directed at Sanders supporters. “We have the Sanders folks admitting that they lost fair and square, not because we ‘rigged’ anything,” the email said. “Clinton likely to win the state convention with a slim margin and we’ll send a release with final delegate numbers.”

* * *

An email titled ‘Bernie narrative‘ sent by DNC National Press Secretary Mark Paustenbach to Miranda indicates that top officials in the party were trying to find an angle to disparage the Vermont senator in the media.

“Wondering if there’s a good Bernie narrative for a story, which is that Bernie never ever had his act together, that his campaign was a mess,” Paustenbach wrote in the May 21 message. “Specifically, [Debbie Wasserman Schultz] had to call Bernie directly in order to get the campaign to do things because they’d either ignored or forgotten to something critical.”

“It’s not a DNC conspiracy, it’s because they never had their act together,” Paustenbach suggested.

* * *

Wasserman Schultz seemed to have already counted Sanders out of the race in a May 21 email, when there were still nine primaries to go. “This is a silly story,” the chairwoman said. “He isn’t going to be president.”

* * *

In another email, Paustenbach informed her that Sanders campaign manager Jeff Weaver said the candidate should continue to the convention, Wasserman Shultz said: “He is an ASS,” referring to Weaver. The chairwoman made her opinion clear about Sanders in an message concerning the candidate alleging that the party hadn’t been fair to him.

“Spoken like someone who has never been a member of the Democratic Party and has no understanding of what we do,” she said.

Collusion with Clinton and the media

A communication from late May laid out the pros and cons of DNC Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz accepting an invitation to CBS’s ‘Face the Nation’, and indicated that the DNC was plotting its moves based on what would be amenable to Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign.

Clinton campaign is a mess, they’re afraid of their own shadow and didn’t like that we engaged,” DNC communications director Luis Miranda wrote. “But they’ll be unhappy regardless, so better to get out there and do some strong pivots and land good punches on Trump. They can’t tell us NOT to do TV right now, we shouldn’t pull ourselves out until they actually do.”

“It’s clear that Bernie messed up and that we’re on the right side of history,” Miranda wrote in another bullet point, referring to the Nevada convention.

“Let’s take this offline,” Wasserman Schultz said in response. “I basically agree with you.”

Wasserman Schultz and Miranda brainstormed ideas to attack Sanders’ position on the Israel/Palestine conflict with her communications team in one thread, with Wasserman Schultz saying that “the Israel stuff is disturbing” in reference to Sanders’ platform committee appointees attempts to include language denouncing the occupation of Palestinian territory in the Democratic platform.

The chairwoman says that the idea “HFA,” or Hillary For America, originally proposed the idea of using Israel/Palestine as “an ideal issue to marginalize Sanders on,” suggesting that the DNC were exchanging communications about anti-Sanders strategies with the Clinton campaign.

* * *

The DNC also made a secret “agreement” with Kenneth Vogel, an influential report for Politico. An email from late April with the subject line “per agreement… any thoughts appreciated” shows that Vogel sent an advanced copy of a story about Hillary Clinton’s fundraising to the DNC even before his editor even saw it.

“Vogel gave me his story ahead of time/before it goes to his editors as long as I didn’t share it,” DNC press secretary Mark Paustenbach wrote to  Miranda. “Let me know if you see anything that’s missing and I’ll push back.”

The published version of the story did not appear to have any significant edits from and was not favorable to the Clinton campaign, but the sending of a full, advanced copy to the subject of a story is considered to be a violation of journalistic ethics.

A source with familiar with the interaction between Politico and the DNC told RT America that the message was sent to officials to ensure accuracy in the story, and that it would have been difficult to ask for piecemeal clarifications due to its complexity. The “agreement,” in fact, referred to the DNC promising not to pass the story to a more favorable news outlet who might publish before  Politco.

* * *

Another email released in the Friday leak indicates that the DNC was in close contact with news websites on articles related to the Democratic Party. A Real Clear Politics article said that Sanders supporters were causing a lack of unity at the Nevada Democratic Convention.

“This headline needs to be changed,”  Wasserman Schultz wrote to Miranda.

“We need to push back… Patrice, what happened, DNC had nothing to do with this, right?” Miranda replied, referring to DNC Director of Party Affairs Patrice Taylor. Taylor responded saying that the article should be changed the event was run by the state party and the disorder “sounds like internal issues amount [sic] Sanders supporters.”

“Walter, please connect with Stewart and get him to push back,” Miranda wrote. The last email on the thread says: “Done. Article has been updated.”

* * *

Further evidence of the DNC’s extensive “content control” over mass media was revealed when Wasserman Schultz sent an email to NBC anchor Chuck Todd with the subject line “Chuck, this must stop,” and set up a time for the two to talk about MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” co-host Mika Brzezinski calling on Wasserman Schultz to step down.

In another email chain, Miranda said Brzezinski was willing to talk with Wasserman Schultz. “She’s already served as a judge and jury without even bothering to talk to me. Not sure why I should trust having a conversation with her would make any difference. Or that she even matters, to be frank,” Wasserman Schultz wrote back after a brief exchange.

In response to a New York Times story about Sanders’s defiance in the wake May’s unruly Democratic state convention in Nevada, Wasserman Schultz wrote: “Every time they get caught doing something wrong, they use the tactic of blaming me. Not working this time.”

* * *

To be sure, there has been a long trail of instances that confirmed Wasserman Schultz’s clear and repeated bias, as noted most recently in “DNC Head Threatened To Kick Michigan Mayor Out Of Debate For Cheering Bernie Sanders“, however this is the first time primary sourced evidence has justified such allegations.

There seems to be clear bias in the aggregate as well. Searches of the database shows an apparent bias by DNC officials against Sanders just by how closely either campaign was monitored. A search of “Sanders supporters” yields 306 messages, while a search of “Clinton supporters” shows only 65 results. A search of “his campaign” yields 780 messages, while “her campaign” only brings up a paltry 120 results.

Questionable Fundraising

According to the Daily Beast, the DNC blocked Roy Black from hosting a potential Barack Obama fundraising event. Black is the lawyer of billionaire and level-three sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, after reports on Epstein’s trial from The Daily Beast and other outlets. The email states the DNC would still allow Black to donate and attend future events.

In an email thread from May 12th of this year, titled “Host for POTUS in Miami,” DNC finance assistant Karina Marquez originally asked the committee’s vetting team to “vet the following folks for POTUS please.” The list of six possible hosts for the event included Black and his wife Lea, who is a star on Real Housewives of Miami.

Federally Funded Environmental Lab Fabricated Data For 18 Years; Forced To Close After Fraud Became Too Large To Cover Up

J.D. Heyes
June 29, 2016

I am continually amazed – and disappointed – by the fact that far too many Americans continue to rely upon and trust government institutions after repeatedly seeing agency after agency, institution after institution, and bureau after bureau, cheat, lie to them, misrepresent data and rob them of their liberties.

Count a government laboratory that was once operated by the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) as yet another of example of this ongoing deceit.

As reported by The Daily Caller News Foundation, the Energy Geochemistry Laboratory in Lakewood, Colo., was closed recently, after investigators and a lawmaker revealed that, over a period of nearly 20 years and at a cost of $108 million, the laboratory had engaged in “disturbing” data manipulation with “serious and far ranging” effects.

The inorganic section of the USGS lab manipulated data on a range of topics, including many related to the environment, from 1996 to 2014. Worse, the manipulation was discovered in 2008 – the year President Obama was elected – but nevertheless continued for another six years.

Has anyone been held responsible?

“It’s astounding that we spend $108 million on manipulated research and then the far-reaching effects that that would have,” said Rep. Bruce Westerman, R-Ark., said at a House Committee on Natural Resources hearing. “We know how research multiples and affects different parts of our society and our economy and … if you’re working off of flawed data it definitely could be in a bad way.

“The problems were so severe, in fact, that the USGS has already closed the inorganic lab in question permanently,” he added.

The lab was shuttered, finally, in January. No word on whether anyone has been held responsible (financially or otherwise) for the manipulation, or what particular environmental data – no doubt fabricated to support certain environmental objectives and policies that came down from the White House – was changed.

The lawmaker cited a recently released Department of the Interior Inspector General (IG) report that said impacts from the changed data “are not yet known but, nevertheless, they will be serious and far ranging. The affected projects represented about $108 million in taxpayer funding from fiscal year 2008 through 2014.”

In addition, Westerman highlighted an interview that the IG did not include in its report.

“Tell me what you want and I will get it for you. What we do is like magic,” a former USGS official told auditors a former employee linked to the manipulation would say, according to the congressman, who also said that the IG’s interview notes make the context of that quote unclear.

“Given the lab’s history and that problems had already been identified when this interview was being conducted, such a statement seems potentially significant,” Westerman told Deputy IG Mary Kendall, a witness for the hearing.

“Your office explained that you do not know the context or veracity of this statement and that this issue was not part of the audit,” Westerman told Kendall.

Nevertheless, other scientists became aware that data manipulation was taking place and began using other labs.

This is exactly why we need MORE independent labs and scientists

Westerman – who has an engineering background – noted that flawed data can very often lead to flawed legislation and policy making, which have direct impacts on the American people.

“I’m not even sure what the scientific result[s] were used in,” he said. “A lot of the work that people do that’s based on scientific research is so important and if the base research is flawed, then that affects the work that goes out from there.”

This is exactly why citizen scientists and independently-owned and operated research facilities like CWC Labs are so important: They produce agenda-free scientific results.

“Consumer Wellness Center Labs specializes in the analytical testing of foods and dietary supplements with an emphasis on organic products,” notes the lab’s website. Built from the ground up by its director, Mike Adams, the Health Ranger, and author of the new book, Food Forensics, the lab recently received crucial credentialing and is now accepting commercial customers.

As more government institutions fail us (remember when the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention actually had a decent reputation?), Adams and other independent scientists will increasingly be needed to fill the void and provide the world with scientific results that are not tainted by political agendas, financial ties or other ulterior motives.

SKU Podcast #15: Bankers Finally Admit Manipulating Gold and Silver Prices

Today we discuss the recent admission of Deutsche Bank bankers in manipulating gold and silver prices after years of many prominent figures in the gold and silver blogosphere denying this obvious fact that had been supported by mountains of evidence, and we pose the question, “What ulterior motives drove prominent voices to deny that gold and silver prices were manipulated by bankers?”

The above includes a clip from the film “Take Shelter” that is used for educational purposes to illustrate a point as it relates to gold and silver “conspiracy theories” that is entirely different than the point illustrated in the film. IMF warns of emerging market risk to U.S. stock markets  … Major emerging markets, led by China, are increasingly likely to spread fear to financial markets, leading to poor stock performance in the U.S. and other developed countries, the International Monetary Fund said. -MarketWatch

The IMF is back at work spreading fear. That’s not what we are supposed to think of course. We’re supposed to believe that the IMF has our best interests at heart and that its ranks are filled with caring, decent people.

But in this article we want to review important financial facilities along with the banking elite itself to reemphasize that they are not what they seem.

We’ll remind you of why they are not to be trusted and how the current economic system worldwide has been rigged to collapse, and to take you  down with it.

The IMF, the World Bank, the Bank for International Settlements, the larger central banks and top banking elites are all complicit.

In the world of high finance, nothing is as it seems. Each element in engaged in subtle interplay with the others. The goal is always destabilization along with the ruin of the middle classes and the enrichment of just a few, worldwide.

This has been going on since the Great Depression and then again since the end of World War II.

Let’s examine main players.

The IMF is part of a financial tag-team that smashes whole countries on the shoals of sovereign debt. First the World Bank lends to irresponsible government leaders and then the IMF offers additional funds.

But those funds come at a price. The IMF insists on imposing high taxes on already impoverished people. And it often forces countries to sell off valuable national enterprises to Western multinationals.

The IMF and the World Bank deal with political leaders and business tycoons. Central banks have a different role to play and the largest ones are directly involved in fine-tuning the world’s monetary system.

Secret deals are a constant occurrence when it comes to the world’s central-banks. That’s because central banking is a legalized monopoly and central bankers are supposed to conspire together. The Bank for International Settlements acts like a Mafioso Kingpin, supervising the secret arrangements.

The most recent secret deal was negotiated in February at the G20 meeting. Here, top central bank officials agreed to boost the Chinese economy via interest rate manipulation.

It was hoped this would help the doomed Chinese economy while not further damaging Western economies. In fact, the damage from decades of massive credit flows has so injured the world’s economy that no matter what central bankers do, it’s not going to be any good.

Ideally, they would step out of the way. But they won’t. They’ll just make things worse.

Their remedies are laughably simplistic anyway. They either print money or they don’t.

If they print money by creating more credit, then they will contribute to asset bubbles. If they tighten, they will puncture those bubbles prematurely and add trillions in further debt to a world already catastrophically overleveraged.  [Bold Emphasis Added]

Blind Trust – Wikipedia’s Duplicitious Dealings & Scandals

“The deepest sin against the human mind is to believe things without evidence. Science is simply common sense at its best – that is, rigidly accurate in observation, and merciless to fallacy in logic.”
– Thomas Huxley

—————————————————–
By: Zy Marquiez
December 22, 2015

In previous a Breakaway Guide to Mainstream Media Manipulation & Propaganda, we showed how trustworthy downright deceptive the mainstream media can be.

Its rather unfortunate, because the majority of the populace shows blind faith in the media, but thankfully not everyone. A large portion of people have begun to unplug, as media conglomerates such as CNBC keep losing viewers , even though there is a growing number of people capable of watching TV. Quite ironic.

Moving on to another more subtle component of media, but nonetheless important, we will take a cursory look at Wikipedia.

There have been a few instances that took place in the past which made me treat information provided by Wikipedia in an askance way.  Coupled with this is the fact that there is a wide breadth of people that can access the website anonymously and how ‘precise’ those “edits” can be.

These handful of events that took place made me extremely convinced that at worst, Wikipedia is just another mouthpiece for the establishment.

This is just personal opinion based on nefarious dealings witnessed by myself and two other people as it was happening.

However, to be more precise, what am going to show you is that Wikipedia’s reliability isn’t as ironclad as people give it credit for.

The latitude and scope of power that Wikipedia has been able to showcase in its growth is as resounding at it is precise. Such power has the capability to singlehandedly make or break any particular individual/corporation/idea in more ways that people could fathom.

Recently published by the Independent, a veritable cavalcade of folks/corporations were eviscerated by actions undertaken within the catacombs of Wikipedia.

Serious scamming of a colossal magnitude was running rampant behind the scenes in unprecedented ways.

It’s been a long suspicion of a few folks that Blackmail is merely the tip of the iceberg however. That alone though is still quite notable given the reliability deceptiveness that can be carried out on such a widely known/used website.

To elucidate further into what was taking place, please take a note of how scam/s worked as detailed by Jamie Merril & Jonathan Owen:

” The scam worked by targeting firms struggling to get pages about their businesses on Wikipedia. They were often told their articles had been rejected due to concerns of excessive promotional content – although in some cases the scammers themselves may have been the ones causing the articles to be removed.

According to a Wikipedia insider, at this stage the scammers would demand a payment of up to several hundred pounds to successfully “re-post or re-surface” the article, and in some cases demanded an on-going monthly payment to “protect” the articles. The fraudster  usually claimed to be a Wikipedia editor or administrator.”

If that’s not disturbing enough for what has been considered by some as the Encyclopedia Britannica of the interwebz, it gets better.

Furthermore, lets couple the above fact with a statement by Andrew Orlowski which he elucidates in his article at TheRegister:

There are serious questions to be asked, not only of Wikipedia’s community structures – which encourage and protect anonymous editing – but also of the Wikimedia Foundation (WMF) itself. The charity has amassed assets of over $70m and a ready cash pile of millions of dollars, thanks to aggressive fundraising which suggests donors must pay to keep the site online (in reality, only around $3m is required to run the site every year). Yet the Foundation has little power to compel anyone to do anything: the community makes its own mind up. Neither seems able to bear much self-examination. [Bold emphasis added]

If that’s not enough to make someone downright outraged am not sure what is.

Trust is something that is often asked of us as individuals by society/corporations/institutions, but rarely earned by those very institutions that implore you at the outset. Events such as this are the exact reason why many folks are suspicious.

While anonymity can protect privacy, it can also be used as a weapon.

In this case we have seen what happens when one is behind the crosshairs of targeted bribery.

That doesn’t even begin to touch issues that Sharyl Attkisson spoke of in her Ted-Talks presentation about the deception within Wikipedia.

Author Phillip Roth reportedly went to edit information to correct a major fact error that pertained to one of his own characters that was cited on a wikipedia page, but as Attkisson relates:

“No matter how hard he tried, wikipedia’s editors wouldn’t allow it. They kept reverting the evidence back to the false information. When Roth finally reached a person at wikipedia, which was no easy task, and tried to find out what was going wrong, they told him he simply was not considered a credible source on himself.”

Ladies and gentlemen, case closed.

A place that doesn’t allow facts to be corrected, by people that created them, is no place that should be trustworthy.

When traveling the innards of the websphere, be mindful of information, no matter where it comes from. Including here. Do your research.

Ultimately what our mind hones in on, is our choice. Luckily for us, we still have one.

Do your research, check, recheck, and make the correct choice for yourself.

As Buddha once said:

“Believe nothing, no matter where you read it, or who has said it, not even if I have said it, unless it agrees with your own reason and your own common sense.”
