Analyzing Mainstream News Anti-Logic

Thousands of articles have been written about the so-called Russian hack of the US election. The term “Russian hack” suggests the Russkies actually found a way to subvert the results of voting machines.

But of course, no convincing evidence has been presented to support such a charge. In fact, when you drill down a few inches below the surface, you find this charge instead: Russia hacked into email accounts and scooped up Hillary, DNC, and Podesta emails, and passed them to WikiLeaks, who then published them.

No chain of evidence supporting this claim has been presented to the public, either. But even assuming the assertion is true, an important factor is intentionally being ignored: THE CONTENT OF THOSE LEAKED EMAILS.

In other words, if making all this content publicly available cost Hillary the election, and if no one is seriously questioning the authenticity of the emails, then THE TRUTH undermined Hillary. However, no major media outlet is reporting the story from that angle.

After all, how would this headline look? TRUE CONTENT OF LEAKED EMAILS SINKS HILLARY CLINTON. Or this? HILLARY COULDN’T REFUTE CONTENT OF LEAKED EMAILS AND SO SHE LOST THE ELECTION.

Those headlines would attract millions of clicks. Why weren’t they printed? It’s reasonable to assume big news outlets didn’t want readers to think about the story from that perspective.

Why not? Why was the heavy emphasis put on the hacking of the emails? To obscure the importance of their content: for example, DNC collusion to obstruct and undermine the campaign of Bernie Sanders.

“Let’s make the story all about WHO we claim stole the emails, rather than WHAT THE EMAILS CONTAINED.”

When a tape surfaced in which Trump spoke about women who were eager to have sex with famous men, did major media make the story all about who had the tape and who released it to the press? No.

Perhaps you remember this 2009 email-hack controversy. Wikipedia sums it up: “The Climatic Research Unit email controversy (also known as “Climategate”) began in November 2009 with the hacking of a server at the Climatic Research Unit (CRU) at the University of East Anglia (UEA) by an external attacker, copying thousands of emails and computer files, the Climatic Research Unit documents, to various internet locations several weeks before the Copenhagen Summit on climate change.”

One of the most revealing elements in the email exchanges: an obvious attempt to sideline scientific critics of global warming. But major media quickly began to reframe the story. It was all about illegal hacking, and investigations were launched to determine the criminal. The contents of the emails were brushed off as “proprietary work product” and “misleading” because “context was missing.”

The case of Edward Snowden was somewhat different. There the media felt compelled to expose the CONTENT of the NSA documents Snowden stole. They also gave considerable space to Snowden himself. To some degree, this was a fait accompli, because The Guardian newspaper was committed, from the beginning, to publishing NSA documents and an analysis of their meaning—so other media outlets followed suit.

Getting the picture?

Big news media decide whether to focus on the WHO or the WHAT, in each case. “Should we give primary coverage to the leaker or what he leaked?”

But that is not a choice you are making. It’s a choice being made for you.

Government agencies and spokespeople leak news to the press all the time. In these instances, the press doesn’t turn around and launch a probe aimed at exposing the WHO and discovering WHY a particular tidbit was passed along for publication. Newspapers and television…

Incredible response to my Podesta piece and naked teen “art photos”

November 7, 2016

I’ll get to the incredible response in a minute, but first the necessary bit of background.

Yesterday, I wrote a piece about John Podesta’s brother, Tony, also a major Democrat political mover and shaker in Washington. A high-powered art collector as well, Tony had photos of naked teenagers on the walls of a bedroom in his house. As the Washington Post reported in 2004:

“’At political events [at Tony’s home], there’s an inevitable awkwardness’, former Clinton administration official Sally Katzen said at a Women’s Campaign Fund dinner at the Podestas’ home this summer. ‘The art is an ice-breaker. It puts people at ease’.”

“Not always. Folks attending a house tour in the Lake Barcroft neighborhood in Falls Church earlier this year got an eyeful when they walked into a bedroom at the Podesta residence hung with multiple color pictures by Katy Grannan, a photographer known for documentary-style pictures of naked teenagers in their parents’ suburban homes.”

“’They were horrified’, Heather [Tony’s wife] recalls, a grin spreading across her face.”

Then, yesterday, I wrote: “Does anyone stop to ask how permission was obtained to shoot those photos in the first place? And then to print them, sell them, show them publicly? The parents of the children gave their consent? The kids gave their consent? On what basis does anyone allow teenagers to make that kind of decision for themselves—or think that teenagers have the capacity to make such a decision? Technically, the whole operation may fall within the law (although I don’t see how), but on every other level it’s insane. And it’s child endangerment.”

“And a major political operative in Washington, Tony Podesta, sees no problem with it. He has the photos on his walls at home. He displays them for his Washington insider pals and donors. They may blush, but they look. And none of them raises a public objection. They keep their mouths shut, because this is Tony Podesta, and he’s a power player.”

Now we come to the incredible response.

After posting the article yesterday, I emailed a person I believed could provide solid advice on the issues I raised. Could anyone be prosecuted for the naked teenager photos? Wasn’t this a crime? How could it not be a crime?

And this person, who does very good work on many fronts, gave me a terse answer: “Why bother? What’s the point?”

The answer was meant to indicate this was a minor blip on the radar, hardly worth dealing with. And I was overreaching to make it into a story.

What??

I want to emphasize: this person I emailed yesterday is extremely bright and extremely active in working for actual justice in places many other people wouldn’t dare go.

And the response was: “Why bother? What’s the point?”

Oh, I don’t know, maybe the point is photos of naked teenagers on walls for anyone to see, when those kids don’t have the capacity or the right to make those decisions, and when their demented immoral parents are making those decisions for them, blithely, with happy grins on their faces, is hideous and grotesque and it’s unbelievable that no one spoke out at the time and no one thought to prosecute the parents or the photographer or the dealer that represents the photographer…

Maybe that’s the point.

Maybe the absolute sewer that is Washington DC needs to be dug up and gotten rid of so we can start all over again.

Maybe that’s the point.

Maybe the rich little scum who walked by those photos and never said a word and were afraid of the power player who displayed them on a bedroom wall in his house were culpable, and maybe they reflect a prevalent perverse attitude that keeps anything good from happening in the political landscape of our time.

Maybe that’s it. Maybe that’s the point.

Maybe the fear is the point. Fear of believing in something that challenges the people in power who are out for destruction, who revel in destruction, who delight in turning life into death.

Maybe that’s the point.

‘Thousands of leaked emails and tapes and only Billy Bush has suffered consequences’ – Lionel

Source: RT
November 4, 2016

To discuss the ongoing email drama that has hurt Hillary Clinton in the polls, legal and media analyst Lionel of Lionel Media joins “News with Ed” and says: “What does it take for anyone to get even a parking ticket?” Noting that only Access Hollywood’s Billy Bush has been reprimanded despite leaked tapes, emails and FBI investigations that have embarrassed both the Trump and Clinton campaigns.

Despite Her Large Scale Deception, FBI Just Discovered 15,000 More Clinton Emails

Evidencing further attempts by Hillary Clinton to thwart the letter of the law, the FBI has discovered close to 15,000 additional emails and documents from her tenure as secretary of state — which her attorneys conveniently failed to disclose.

This means the cache of information from Clinton’s personal server is nearly double the size she originally claimed. A federal judge has now urged the State Department to begin releasing the email and document collection much earlier than mid-October as currently planned.

As Bloomberg reports:

U.S. District [Judge] James Boasberg on Monday ordered the State Department to process that first batch of records by Sept. 22 and report back to him that day.”

Judicial Watch, which filed the lawsuit for the release of the emails, had been infuriated over the previously planned October 14 target for a weekly phased delivery.

“We’re pleased the court accelerated the State Department’s timing,” said Judicial Watch president Tom Fitton on Monday, as quoted by the Washington Post. “We’re trying to work with the State Department here, but let’s be clear: They have slow-walked and stonewalled the release of these records. They’ve had many of them since July 25 … and not one record has yet been released, and we don’t understand why that’s the case.”

In the director James Comey’s announcement the FBI would not recommend the Department of Justice pursue charges against Clinton over her “extremely careless” handling of classified information on the notorious personal server, he hinted at a number of work-related emails held back by attorneys. But the 14,900 emails and documents uncovered by the agency nearly double in size what attorneys had claimed were “all” of Hillary’s work-related emails.

In response to today’s announcement, State Department spokesman Mark Toner reiterated the voluntary release of information from the period of 2009 through 2013 didn’t include “tens of thousands” of documents which needed to be “carefully appraised at State” to separate those of personal versus official nature.

“State has not yet had the opportunity to complete a review of the documents to determine whether they are agency records or if they are duplicative of documents State has already produced through the Freedom of Information Act,” Toner explained. “We cannot comment further as this matter is an ongoing litigation.”

Fitton rebuked the explanation, telling reporters after today’s hearing, “The State Department has concocted a completely new review program under the Freedom of Information Act that we’ve never heard before.”

Though this enormous addition to the document cache was transferred from the FBI to the State Department on August 5, the actual size had been unknown until Monday’s announcement. As the Post reports:

Government lawyers disclosed last week that the FBI has turned over eight computer discs of information: one including emails and attachments that were sent directly to or from Clinton, or to or from her at some point in an email chain, and were not previously turned over by her lawyers; a second with classified documents; another with emails returned by Clinton; and five containing materials from other people retrieved by the FBI.”

According to Fitton, the 14,900 documents come just from the first disc.

Also today, Rep. Lamar Smith — chair of the Committee on Science, Space and Technology — issued subpoenas to three private companies responsible for implementing and running Clinton’s personal server, the Post reports.

Smith and Sen. Ron Johnson, who heads the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs panel, are conducting a probe into whether or not the server met federally-recommended standards for cybersecurity and records preservation.

“Companies providing services to Secretary Hillary Clinton’s private email account and server are not above the law,” Smith said, noting the intention of the probe was to inform potential policy changes and prevent similar debacles in the future.

Judging from previous releases from the Clinton email files, the content will likely reveal yet more explosive information — but until the release, that remains purely a matter of informed conjecture.

Zika, Florida, NSA Hillary Emails, Obama Signs DARK Act

QuestionEverything2
Source: NoMoreFakeNews.com
Jon Rappoport
August 2, 2016

Every day in the news business is a fake day.

Headlines and articles smear lies, cover stories, distractions, diversions, and phony parroting across the landscape. And headlines that would reveal important truth are omitted.

The gullible buy in and submit themselves to prime-A mind control.

Here are three current stories I have covered in detail already:

Zika, Florida (one Miami area is the focus): the CDC has issued a travel warning. Pregnant women, or women planning to become pregnant, should avoid this area. Feds are going door asking for urine samples, to test for Zika.

But every effort in Brazil, America, Colombia and other countries to link Zika to the birth defect called microcephaly has failed. Utterly. (Zika article archive here)

The correlation between the presence of Zika and cases of microcephaly is so weak, so thin, that researchers have resorted to a bumbling “add-on” analysis. It goes this way:

“If we can find several groups in which Zika and microcephaly are barely connected at all, and combine these findings, we can say they add up to a convincing case.”

In Brazil, embarrassed researchers have simply given up trying to show a correlation between Zika and the birth defect. They simply assert the connection, despite the fact that, at best, Zika is present in perhaps one-fifth of all microcephaly cases.

By any scientific measure, this constitutes counter-evidence that Zika causes microcephaly. But it doesn’t deter the CDC or the World Health Organization. They march on, their message of unrelenting fear fed directly into the brain of the mainstream press, and out into the public. The promise? A blockbuster vaccine, and high profits for Pharma.

Shifting to Hillary Clinton: her email scandal is, at the least, a case of extreme gross negligence in the handling of classified materials. FBI Director Comey said as much, several weeks ago, as he recommended no-prosecution during a global press conference.

“She’s guilty as hell, but we shouldn’t take her to court.”

Comey, acting as if he were, suddenly, a Grand Jury, the US Attorney General, and an appellate judge, misread the Federal Penal Statute—which specifically states that intent to do harm is irrelevant, and gross negligence is the standard—and dismissed a felony case against Hillary out of hand.

Now, Bill Binney, a former high-level NSA analyst who exposed the Agency’s crimes long before Ed Snowden emerged, states that the NSA would actually have all her emails, including the ones which were deleted and never turned over to the Justice Department.

Not only that, the NSA would, as a matter of course, share this information with the FBI and the CIA. In other words, the FBI has been posturing for over a year, in its comments about the missing emails. They could have access to them with a single request.

But mainstream press outlets are ignoring these new revelations. The Hillary case is history. Nothing to see. It’s old news. She’s been exonerated. She’s good to go in her campaign to win the Presidency. That’s the unanimous mainstream consensus.

And finally, Obama has signed the Dark Act, the federal bill which guts the right of any state to clearly label food products containing GMOs. Instead, a new federal standard will be developed—a so-called Q rating system. Under this program, which may possibly be implemented in the next five years, consumers can, if they’re aware, stop shopping and use their i-phones (or an 800 number) to discover what a “Q” means for a given product. Shop all day, check up on four products.

Good luck. Monsanto wins. As I’ve detailed, Obama is the GMO President. He has appointed a whole raft of former Monsanto people to key posts in his administration. He has let more new GMO food crops in the door than any President. This, despite his nudge and wink to supporters during his first run for the White House—signaling that he was on their side, and would make sure they’d know what was in their food. It was all con all the time.

But of course, the mainstream press is giving this zero coverage. There was barely a mention the other day when he signed the new federal bill making GMO labels a cumbersome and useless piece of nonsense.
