Mr. N.R. and Mr. P.K. both noticed this story, and since it’s a topic that we’re interested in on this website, I decided to blog about this. The topic in question is geoengineering and tectonic technologies, which could be used for that purpose, or as weapons of mass destruction. As I’ve noted in previous blogs on this website, former Secretary of Defense in the Clinton Administration, Mr. William Cohen, admitted their existence and even opined that terrorist organizations may be in possession of them. Note what the Yahoo version of this story claims:

Ankara’s outspoken mayor on Tuesday warned that outside forces could be using sophisticated technology to try to trigger a manmade earthquake in a deliberate bid to harm Turkey’s fragile economy.

Melih Gokcek, who has been mayor of the Turkish capital since 1994, made the outlandish claims on Twitter where he regularly updates his more than 3.7 million followers, often writing in capital letters.

His comments were made after two quakes hit the western Canakkale province on Monday and Tuesday morning, measuring 5.3 and 5.2 magnitude respectively, the Turkish Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD) said.

In these tweets, Gokcek shared a video which claimed there were tools for causing manmade quakes, and he called all submarines and ships with large equipment to be taken under control of the authorities.

Gokcek said he had “researched” the two quakes and suggested they could have been caused by possible foreign interference.

“There was a ship conducting seismic research nearby. What this ship was researching and what country it belongs to must be solved,” he wrote. (Emphases added)

Now, apparently when a US Secretary of Defense makes similar claims, they are not “outlandish”, but when the Mayor of the capital of Turkey does, they are. As I suggested in the previous articles on this website, there is a context in which such assertions must be entertained: is there a political context in which an earthquake or other such tectonic disaster, such as a tsunami, would appear to be a little too coincidental. In this respect, I have suggested that the political climate prior to the Indonesian-Malaysian tsunami was a little too coincidental: Catherine Austin Fitts has pointed out her consternation in the sudden and inexplicable trades in sovereign securities that began a week prior to this event; then the event occurred, and a reason was provided for the financial activity. And that meant a technology was involved. And it was nothing new: in World War Two the Allies studied methods of producing tsunamis on Japan prior to, and in aid of, the planned invasion of the home islands, a plan that was, of course, rendered moot by the a-bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Similarly, I pointed out that the Haiti earthquake, followed so quickly by strong earthquakes in the region of Paral, Chile, might have been shots in an “earthquake war.” In this instance there were even warnings of tsunamis from the Paral earthquake throughout the Pacific, especially in Hawaii, but… when the “tsunami” hit, it was barely three feet. That, to my high octane speculative mind implied, again, a technology. After all, if one can create such events, it also implies a technology to damp them. And again, prior to the German reunification – and this is a little-remembered series of incidents – there were a number of severe earthquakes in Soviet Georgia mere weeks prior to the reunification. Georgia was the home of the then Soviet Foreign Minister Eduard Shervarnadze. When Chancellor Kohl pressed the reunification – really the annexation – of East Germany, there was scarcely, and unusually, a peep from Moscow.

So to my high octane speculative mind, Mayor Gokcek may have good reasons to suspect something is up. It seems clear that the mayor of Turkey’s capital would not simply “spout off” on Twitter without the approval of higher ups. What is of interest here is that Mr. Gokcek is pointing to ships conducting seismic experiments in the region, and this to me suggests he has seen intelligence on the matter. This raises the question of why the origin of the ships is not mentioned. There are two scenarios, granting the proposition for the sake of argument that Mr. Gokcek is correct. The first is that Turkish intelligence simply does not know, for whatever reason. The ships may be flying the flag of a particular country and Turkey may suspect that their real origin lies elsewhere, and thus is not known; or, Turkish intelligence does know, and for the moment, is keeping quiet about it. But in either case, Mr. Gokcek appears to be the “unofficial” mouthpiece of the moment, being used to air a suspicion, but keeping the Turkish government itself out of the picture in the old “plausible deniability” two-step.

There is another clue, however, in the article as to the origin of the ships: Mr. Gokcek wants the ships “to be taken under control of the authorities.” This implies that the ships are not suspected to belong to any major power; after all, if Turkish authorities were to “take them under control”, there would be immediate and perhaps serious repercussions. And that implies that the “foreign interference” that he alleges might be coming from somewhere else. And that brings up Secretary of Defense William Cohen’s non-outlandish remarks to the fore once again, for recall, he maintained the technologies existed, and could be in the hands of “terrorists.” And somehow, I just don’t see ISIS (or whatever name it’s going by at the moment) has the technological competence nor infrastructure to create and sustain the deployment of it. And that implies someone else may be on the seen.

See you on the flip side…

Another Meteor Over Russia & A US Satellite Breaks Up In Orbit…

While all this hacking and cyber warfare and geopolitical “tectonic shifts” have been going on “down here” on terra firma, there has been some off stuff going on “up there”, not the least of which has been another meteor over Russia, and an obsolescent US satellite breaking up in orbit. These stories were shared by so many here I cannot mention them all, but I want to talk about these two stories in conjunction with each other in our daily dose of high octane speculation:

Another U.S. Air Force Weather Satellite Just Broke Up in Orbit

Now, before we turn to this story and to the Russian space news this week, recall the strange context of space news over the past few weeks:

(1) Major General Igor Konshenkov, commander of Russian forces in Syria, stated that the anti-missile and air defense systems in that country were now fully operational, and that their range would be a “surprise” against any and all “unidentified flying objects”, a carefully chosen phrase that could mean either (a) unidentified human aircraft entering Syrian airspace, or (b) the more commonly accepted idea of “UFOs”;

(2) The Iraqi transportation minister, a fan of the works of Zechariah Sitchen, stated in a press conference that Iraq was home to “alien space ports” thousands of years ago;

(3) A Russian foreign ministry spokeswoman stated that continued US meddling in the Middle East would have “tectonic” consequences, a choice of language that, like Konshenkov’s, could be taken either in a prosaic sense of rhetorical hyperbole, or in a literal sense as implying the existence of “tectonic” weaponry, i.e., earthquake weaponry and warfare;

(4) the Wikileaks release of strange emails that included correspondence allegedly between former Apollo astronaut, the late Edgar Mitchell, and John Podesta, about “space wars,” a story closely followed by

(5) the recent “release” of a strategy study allegedly done for the Clinton campaign by the Benenson group, which included, strangely, a reference to staging a mock alien invasion in order to support the Clinton campaign. While I am strongly inclined to view the story as a hoax, it is nevertheless “out there” in cyberspace, and notably, no less strange than the very real statements of General Konshenkov, the Iraqi transportation minister, and the very real Wikileaks emails. Thus, contextually, these might argue for the authenticity of the Benenson story.

With this backdrop and context in mind, let us now look at the satellite story:

A third U.S. Air Force weather satellite that launched more than 20 years ago has broken up in orbit, Air Force Space Command disclosed Monday evening.

Air Force officials confirmed the breakup of the long-retired Defense Meteorological Satellite Program Flight 12 satellite (DMSP F-12) after the Joint Space Operations Center at Vandenberg Air Force Base, California, detected an additional object orbiting alongside the 22-year-old satellite.
(Emphasis added)

There seems to be an attempt here by the Joint Space Operations Center to connect the breakup of the old weather satellite to the presence of this “additional object orbiting alongside the 22-year old satellite,” without coming right out and saying this explicitly. If so, then there are three basic ways to interpret the statement: (1) the “additional object” was American, and thus, the breakup of the satellite was intentional, and meant to demonstrate an extraordinary American anti-satellite warfare capability, or (2) the “additional object was not American, but some other great power demonstrating its capability against an obsolscent American satellite. The problem with this view is that this would be an act of war, and would demand some form of American retaliation. The powers that be might be inclined to keep such an event secret, and retaliate “in kind” at some future date. Nonetheless, this interpretation remains problematic. Finally, there is the third possibility: (3) the “additional object” was either from some unknown terrestrial group, or from some “ET” presence. Again, this possibility means that the destruction of the satellite could be construed as an act of war, or as a demonstration of “capability.”

Which brings us to the second strange space story of the past few days: the Russian meteor:

The Truth is Out There? Glowing Meteor Crashes in Siberia, Sparks UFO Rumors

While there is much about this incident that reminds one of the Cleyabinsk meteor incident, what is intriguing here is that the event took place on October 25th, during the same period during which Russia staged the second massive aerospace attack drill:

HUGE Air Drill, Over 130 Command Centers in Russia, CIS on Alert

This caught my eye, and fueled my high octane speculation, for a very simple reason: while most of the western press – including its alternative media – have been hyping the drill as a demonstration that Russia is drilling for a nuclear war in fears of a Darthillary victory in this month’s election, I strongly suspect that the Russian drills had and entirely different sort of attack in mind: either “rod of God” attacks from space-based kinetic weapons of some terrestrial power, or an “attack” from a “rogue meteorite” that perhaps had been deliberately pulled and directed to Russia. If that sounds far-fetched, recall two things: (1) one prior to the Chelyabinsk meteor incident, then Prime Minister Dmitri Medvedev indicated Russia should establish its own asteroid defense system, which asteroids could be taken out by Russian thermonuclear weapons or “other means” which Mr. Medvedev left notably unstated, and (2) the Russian government subsequently to the Chelyabinsk incident not only began to build out that system, but more recently combined the Russian air and space forces into one service branch, the “aerospace” forces, a fact that puts General Konshenkov’s statements about “unidentified flying objects” and a “surprising” range of Russian air defense systems into an even more intriguing context.

Thus what I am suggesting is that the recent Russian drill, which occurred in the same time frame as the latest meteor incident over Siberia, was not only about drilling for nuclear war, but was also actually a drill testing its space defense system and planning, and “conveniently” enough, a meteor shows up to reinforce the point, and like the Chelyabinsk meteor, appears to have been exploded in flight. This is, of course, the highest octane of high octane speculations, but it raises other chilling prospects: (1) did the Russian space defense forces stage the meteor event as a demonstration of capability” or conversely (2) did they detect the meteor long ago, and capitalize on the event, again as a demonstration of capability?

And those tectonic shifts that Russia warned about? Recall that last Thursday I talked about Italy’s role as “point man” in the EU for Russia. With that in mind, I find it equally highly curious that Italy, always earthquake prone, has recently suffered some strong earthquakes.

Whether those quakes…
