Ask not what The Corbett Report can do for you, ask what you can do for The Corbett Report? Well, not exactly. Today James thanks you for your offers of support, gives some pointers for would-be translators, and stresses that the most important way to help The Corbett Report is to help spread the information itself.

Alex Jones’ infowars and Mike Adams’ naturalnews.com are both under attack.
Infowars has been dropped by its ad platform, which spreads ads for infowars products to many, many media outlets. Last year, that ad operation accounted for more than $3 million in sales for infowars.
Natural news has been “delisted” by Google. Google appears to have wiped out 140,000 pages of listings for Mike’s website. I just typed in “natural news” at Google and what came up was something different, natural.news, another tiny site owned by Mike.
The Empire is striking back. This isn’t debate or discussion or even baseless accusation. This is war by attrition. And censorship.
This is part of the elite mantra: if we don’t like it, wipe it out.
If you’ve been awake for the past year, you’ve seen an escalation, along many fronts, of the so-called “Progressive” forces to censor what they don’t want to read or hear.
It’s taken a new turn. They want to take down key independent media outlets.
They want to narrow down the “information superhighway” to a one-lane road that runs directly into their headquarters, where all the big-time fake news is dispensed, every day, to the hypnotized masses.
Don’t let them win. At the very least, take the independent news you judge is vitally important and spread it out far and wide.
Finally, for now, a message to those individuals who, by work and sweat and intelligence, by their own efforts, have built and created independent news sites:
WHATEVER DIFFERENCES YOU MAY HAVE HAD, FROM TIME TO TIME, WITH ONE ANOTHER, THIS IS BIGGER THAN THAT. MUCH BIGGER. THIS IS ABOUT CENSORSHIP OF FREE SPEECH. THIS IS ABOUT A WAR AGAINST THE FREEDOMS WE HOLD DEAR, THE FREEDOMS THAT MEAN THE MOST WHEN THEY ARE UNDER ATTACK. DEFEND EACH OTHER.

It seems that Barack Obama is no longer officially president, but he is the mastermind behind a large, well-funded effort to operate a “shadow” government whose primary goals are a) undermining President Donald Trump, and b) preserving Obama’s awful, job-killing, freedom-smothering Alt-Left agenda.
And these battles will begin with several organizations that were part of that Obama “legacy,” built over the final years he spent in office, with the singular goal of ensuring Trump fails and his Marxist far-Left agenda survives and moves forward.
As The National Sentinel reported last week, the operation was exposed by Hoover Institute media fellow, author and investigative journalist Paul Sperry, who said Obama has issued orders to his “troops” to swing into action:
When former President Barack Obama said he was “heartened” by anti-Trump protests, he was sending a message of approval to his troops. Troops? Yes, Obama has an army of agitators — numbering more than 30,000 — who will fight his Republican successor at every turn of his historic presidency. And Obama will command them from a bunker less than two miles from the White House.
Sperry, writing in the New York Post, said that Obama was working to establish what will essentially be a shadow government to ensure that Trump’s “American First” agenda is thwarted (and this guy was an American president?).
He’s doing it through a network of leftist nonprofits led by Organizing for Action. Normally you’d expect an organization set up to support a politician and his agenda to close up shop after that candidate leaves office, but not Obama’s OFA. Rather, it’s gearing up for battle, with a growing war chest and more than 250 offices across the country.
One of these groups is Media Matters, an out-there far-Left media ‘watchdog’ organization run by David Brock that is gearing up to spend millions to wage war on the truth, the American people who believe in Trump and support him, and the system of government that has held our country together for more than two centuries.
Revealed in this confidential memo, Media Matters’ master plan is called, “Democracy Matters, Strategic Plan for Action,” and it involves:
— Specifically, the Alt-Left group pledges to “weaponize our research products to understand and take action against the changing media ecosystem and the extremists seeking to manipulate it…. Key alt-right figures will lose credibility and influence in response to our research and pressure”
— Use social media to assault conservative voices and reputations while defending and promoting big government, authoritarianism pushed by the Democratic Party
“Several intelligence insiders have come forward over the past few days to describe a ‘shadow government’ of Obama holdovers leaking information to derail the Trump presidency, with National Security Adviser Mike Flynn’s resignation their first great success,” reports Breitbart News.
“There are even allegations that former President Barack Obama himself is actively involved, citing his establishment of a command center in Washington and continuing involvement with activist organizations.”
Never prone to conspiracy theories, even talk radio giant Rush Limbaugh has begun to discuss the plotting and scheming of the “deep state” – the embedded federal bureaucracy that is pro-Obama, pro-big government and pro-globalism, but anti-America-first and definitely anti-Trump.
However, discrediting us won’t be as easy as Media Matters or the Obama machine think. After all, despite Hillary Clinton winning a majority of votes (thanks solely to the state of California), Trump won the vast majority of the country. Also, most Americans don’t trust the mainstream media that Media Matters will have to rely on to get its message out. And using social media is no guarantee of success, either, as conservatives also use it.
Nevertheless, the battle lines have been drawn. Trump’s election has brought together what remains of the Alt-Left. They won’t give up and they’re not going away. Neither, it seems, is the 44th president.
“A dream is your creative vision of your life in the future. You must break out of your current comfort zone and become comfortable with the unfamiliar and the unknown.”
– Denis Waitley
Now it is time to set goals for 2017, which will be both for the blog and some personal ones as well.
Each goal – written in bold – follows with commentary below.
Goal #1: Paint 25 paintings.
Last year, the goal was 50, and 30 wasn’t even achieved. Although really wanted to attempt the same goal again, it’s more prudent/pragmatic to take a more conservative goal in this instance. The other reason for not making this goal too large is that the canvases which will be used this year are 2-3 times larger than last years. That’ll simply mean more time put towards painting, regardless of total goal.
Goal #2: Write and share 50 poems of any type.
This was the goal for last year, but unlike painting, which takes considerable time, this goal will be achieved this year because we will not sacrifice too much personal time for the blog. Failure is not an option.
Goal #3: Write 70 new book reviews for the blog.
Last year’s goal was 50, and it was pretty much crushed by 50%. This year, although there shouldn’t be any personal setbacks or anything, the goal will be 70. It’ll still be considerable work, but it’s increased enough to be a challenge, while not overly so that it feels like a finish line that never ends. Really want to make it higher, but let’s not get overly ambitions.
Goal #4: Ask more questions of individuals, and listen more.
Seems simple, and yet, it’s a goal that will net more benefits. It’s not like me to be overly talkative, but, in order to increase mindfulness, being more mentally engaged on the listening side of a conversation will bring to fruition considerably greater aspects of myself.
Goal #5: Be even more inquisitive than in the past.
This goal is the same as last year, and it was met. However, its important to me to continue to foster my intellectual curiosity in order to grow as an individual and be able to help others. What’s not to like about that goal?
Goal #6: Take more deep breaths.
What!? Yeah, that’s a few friends told me. But really, the reason for this is, again, it helps develop mindfulness, and keep my mind intensely focused, which helps in every other part of life. Plus, it will remind me to meditate more often.
Goal #7: Meet new people from all walks of life, figure out what makes them tick, and why they are the way they are.
Meeting people is a great goal, and it used to be really hard for me due to being shy, but with time its become slightly easier. That said, meeting people is one thing, but figuring out what makes them tick deep down in their core is something significantly different, and something that almost never happens due to so many superficial relationships. That, and it takes time to really get to know people and their drives/passions. Regardless, if am able to engage with 15-20 folks in this manner by the end of the year, am going to be more than happy with this one.
Goal #8: Read 100 books, or 20,000 pages from books – which ever goal comes first between those two.
This goal was succeeded last year thankfully. About 3/4ths of the book read were non-fiction research books of many types, with the rest being fiction of mostly dystopian or horror type. Would love to up this goal, but this goal requires enormous consistency and everything to go right. At least having a goodreads account helps track which books – and how many – were read.
Goal #9: Workout at least 5 hours a week – over 250 hours in the year.
Although the amount of time [hours logged] working out last year was within goal range, not enough ‘days’ were spent doing that. The days worked out by myself would venture into 1 to 2 hours many times, but would only go about 3-4 times a week, rather than 5 consistently. That said, from this year on we’re just going to add hours worked out by each week’s end. If the total hours worked out by the end of the year goes over 250 hours, this will be great. And my goal is to do it either by doing yoga, cardio, lifting weights, etc.
Goal #10: Take a lot more time ruminating before carrying out all decisions in life.
This is definitely the most complex, since it requires constant mindfulness and focus to have a highly more deliberate and incisive thought process. Without a doubt, this goal will probably net arguably the greatest benefits, although it might be the toughest to achieve/implement.
More goals might be added, but for now that seems to run the gamut across most if not all of the core goals that will be striven for in this blog.
What are your goals for this year? Have put them into action? Are you already on your way? Let me know.
Throughout the year, regardless of what takes place within the rollercoaster that is life, please keep in mind this gem that Picasso once intimated:
“Our goals can only be reached through a vehicle of a plan, in which we must fervently believe, and upon which we must vigorously act. There is no other route to success.”

Desperate Mainstream Media Attacks Independent Journalists
In this Media Attacks Special Report, Dark Journalist Daniel Liszt welcomes back dynamic author and the publisher of the ForbiddenKnowledgeTV website Alexandra Bruce. In the wake of the desperate attempts by the Corporate Media to portray the Alternative Media as dangerous to try and stave off their own massive plunge into irrelevance, the media establishment is now trying to hide their failed attempts to manipulate the Presidential Election and put Neocon Democrat Hillary Clinton into the White House with the help of fake polls, biased reporting, behind the scenes collusion and false memes.
Their solution, coordinated at a high level with Social Media figures like Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg and funded by shady covert actors, like billionaire activist George Soros, was to create a new meme called ‘Fake News’ to label independent sites and citizen journalists who expose their unethical behavior and report news in an unfiltered way to the public as a threat to democracy.
Smear Campaign
Their slanderous smear campaign has reached a new low with the publication of a McCarthyite list of Alternative Media websites in the Washington Post that were supposedly in league with Russia according to a discredited website called PropOrNot (Washington Post eventually added an addendum to the article featuring the list saying they couldn’t vouch for the source). The pathetic attempt to create a conspiracy theory that paints the brave independent voices who give the real truth to their readers with minimal resources as somehow traitorous, harkens back to the red scare tactics of the 1950’s and shows that the Mainstream Media is caught in a death spiral. The shocking disinformation tactics show they are unsure of how to redeem their falling numbers, bailing advertisers, and destroyed reputation that is in tatters especially since they unabashedly lied to the American people during the election in order to curry favor with the corporate power brokers that are attempting to install a Global Government.
Alexandra sees a coordinated campaign targeting Independent Media financially, and trying to shut as many of them down as possible by blocking them on Facebook, Twitter and other Social Media outlets. Whether you’re a Liberal Democrat shocked by the media character assassination of Bernie Sanders, a Libertarian repulsed by the intrusion of the CIA into the limelight with false propaganda about Russia, an Independent disturbed by the use of the Green Party and Jill Stein as puppets with behind the scenes Clinton-funded recounts to delegitimize the election, or a Republican shocked by the threatening pressure on electors and 24/7 negative coverage of President-Elect Trump, now is the time to unmask the cowardly trolls in charge of the Corporate Mainstream Media and reveal them as the true purveyors of ‘Fake News.’
Former Congressman Ron Paul has called the war on alleged fake news websites and assault on the first amendment in his recent article. Paul believes it is not the place of the government to tell people what they can or cannot read.
Yves Smith – who runs the respected liberal website Naked Capitalism – has retained a top gun lawyer to sue the Washington Post for defamation unless it retracts its smear piece calling alternative media sites “Russian propaganda.”
Smith has also launched PropOrNot.org … a satirical site complaining about the lack of first-rate propaganda by the powers-that-be.
We – American alternative media who are loyal to the U.S. and no other country – fully endorse both efforts.
Unlike the knuckleheads who are attempting to shut down alternative media by lumping us in with Russian state-sponsored media, and the twits who wrote and approved the Washington Post smear piece – who apparently embrace the values of tyrants we fought the Revolutionary War to escape – we at Washington’s Blog actually believe in Americanvalues, such as freedom of the press and other liberties.

They kept telling the American people Hillary Clinton was going to win the election; and in every way they could think of, they told the American people this was a good idea.
Then, on election night, they, the media, crashed.
The results came in.
The media went into deep shock.
As protests and riots then spread across America, the media neglected to mention a) they’d been bashing Trump because he said he might not accept the outcome of the vote, and b) here were large numbers of people on the Democrat side who weren’t accepting the outcome of the vote.
A new campaign had to be launched.
Suddenly, on cue, it was: Hillary Clinton lost because “fake news” about her had been spread around during the campaign.
Fake news sites. That was the reason.
These “fake sites” had to be punished. Somehow. They had to be defamed. Blocked. Censored.
Here is an excerpt from a list of “fake news” sites suggested by one professor. The list is circulating widely on the Web: Project Veritas; Infowars; Breitbart; Coast To Coast AM; Natural News; Zero Hedge; The Daily Sheeple; Activist Post; 21st Century Wire.
Free speech? Bill of Rights? Never heard of it.
Obama put in his two cents: “Because in an age where there’s so much active misinformation and it’s packaged very well and it looks the same when you see it on a Facebook page or you turn on your television…If everything seems to be the same and no distinctions are made, then we won’t know what to protect.”
Excuse me. “We won’t know what to protect?” Meaning what to favor, what to promote, what to lie about? Meaning only some speech is free?
Obama is way, way behind the curve. Thousands of websites and blogs have been exposing major media as fake for years. I started nomorefakenews.com in 2001.
If Google, Facebook, and Twitter keep expanding their censorship of “disfavored messages,” they’re going to pay a price. More and more users will go elsewhere.
The facade of the major media is getting thinner. You can see a glow of rage and resentment behind it. They’re desperately looking for revenge on the millions and millions of people who are deserting them and laughing at them.
They presumed too much. They presumed they had us in the palm of their hand. We were their property. We were transfixed by their authority.
All that is going away. Bye, bye.
The big shift is accelerating. Independent media are in the ascendance. Understand that. Recognize it.
The impossible is happening.
Fake news sites? Please. The major media are the biggest fakes the world has ever seen. Their anchors and star reporters are bloviating cranks. They’re dinner-theater actors.
Over the years, I’ve talked to some of them. I’ve warned them of their coming troubles. They were miles away from believing me. Now, they’re starting to sweat blood.
Major media news for America is still basically manufactured in New York and Washington—plus occasional outbursts from Hollywood creatures who bemoan the decline of inclusive liberalism, as they expand their gun-toting security staffs and dig deeper bunkers. The New York-Washington axis exists in a self-serving bubble, which has now taken serious punctures. The delusional attacks against “fake sites” underlines how out of touch these elites are with the rest of the country.
Independent media outlets are winning. They won’t be stopped.
When the people who now head the tech giants were growing up, they were heralding the Internet as a new era of free information-exchange. But now that they find themselves working with the government in the Surveillance State, they’re fronting for censorship. In fact, they’re showing they were never for freedom. That was a pose all along. They were, from the beginning, agents of repression. They can try to stop independent media now, but they will fail.
Fake web sites? What about fake companies? What about Google, Facebook, Twitter? Behind their happy-happy messages, they were built to propagandize, profile, and control.
Understand this: major media have a rock-bottom article of faith. It is: “We own the news.”
They can’t give it up. They’ll never give it up. It fuels everything they do. It’s the substance and core of their attitude.
As their ship goes down below the waves, they’ll be chanting it. “We own the news.”
But they don’t. In truth, they never did. For a time, they managed to sell that delusion to the people.
That time is drawing to a close.
The elite political class and their media minions fear more than independent news countering their own news. For obvious reasons, every civilization down through history has had its own monopolistic media, its central “broadcasting system.” Its controlled outlet. But now, The One has become Many.
That is the threat.
The rapid proliferation of The Many is an unpredictable X-factor.
The population is waking up to decentralized media. Instead of the hypnotic attachment to one basic information source—the habit of a lifetime—the public is learning to handle multiple sources. Therefore, the hypnotic spell is being broken and dissolved.
“We’ll know our disinformation program is complete when everything the American public believes is false.”
– William Casey, CIA Director [1981]
[Editor’s Note]
This post was shared nigh two weeks ago, but since WordPress seems to love censoring things that matter, we will share it as many times as need be. The truth will not be stopped.

“The creation of this empire has been facilitated by the power of the corporate mass media, increasingly falling into fewer and fewer hands. The ownership of the corporations that today control the information available to the broadest portion of the population can be traced back to the same families and companies who backed Hitler.”
– Jim Marrs, Rise Of The Fourth Reich – The Secret Societies That Threaten To Take Over America, pg. 353
Media of all type plays a vital role into what we see as ‘truth’.
Never mind the fact that there are hundreds of references in literature that speak about the many effects of the neurotoxin, Thimersoal, in vaccinations. Again, that’s not ‘truth’. We must not speak about it.
Never mind the fact that many doctors [Dr. Kelly Brogan, Dr. Peter Breggin, etc.] have come out showing what sham psychiatry is. That must not get airtime, because, that’s not the truth. After all, what kind of world would we have if depression was not a disease, but a symptom, as Dr. Brogan has postulated.
One would figure at least one of those news-worthy events would get plastered all over mainstream media, but such is not the case. In fact, in the latest case of media censorship, Dr. Kelly Brogan’s book – even though it became a New York Times best seller without any mainstream media press – was blacklisted from mainstream press. Of course, questioning mainstream narrative must not be done. They only report on the “truth”.
As we can note, the mainstream media delineates what is, and what isn’t ‘truth’ in our society. It’s reality reduction to the hilt.
As if that were not enough, the media can be homogenized at any time.
Very salient and troubling examples follow:
Exhibit A:
Exhibit B:
Exhibit C:
Please keep in mind, these are only some of the times the media’s been caught. It’s impossible for us to know how often this takes place, but the fact that these have taken place goes to show the control the media is under for such to take place. That also goes to explain why the mainstream media almost never reports conflicting information, even though the alternative media has shown how unreliable they are many times.
As you can see, whenever the tune is called, they all follow in lock-step. It’s extremely worrisome that so many ‘different networks can use the same message. So much for journalism!
How has this been accomplish? With the consolidation monopolization of the media.
Jim Marrs, in his notable book Population Control elaborates:
“While the US was once a nation with a great variety of newspapers and periodicals, today virtually everything a person sees or hears is coming from one of only five multinational corporations – the Walt Disney Company, News Corporation, Time-Warner, and Viacom [which now includes CBS] and the German publishing giant Bertelsmann. These five giants not only control the newspapers but for most of them also radio and television networks, movie studios, magazines, cable and satellite outlets, music companies, and even billboards.”[1][Emphasis Added]
Nigh a century ago, Edward Bernays spoke succinctly about this in his book Propaganda:
“The conscious and intelligent manipulation of the organized habits and opinions of the masses is an important element in democratic society. Those who manipulate this unseen mechanism of society constitute an invisible government which is the true ruling power of our country. …We are governed, our minds are molded, our tastes formed, our ideas suggested, largely by men we have never heard of. This is a logical result of the way in which our democratic society is organized. Vast numbers of human beings must cooperate in this manner if they are to live together as a smoothly functioning society. …In almost every act of our daily lives, whether in the sphere of politics or business, in our social conduct or our ethical thinking, we are dominated by the relatively small number of persons…who understand the mental processes and social patterns of the masses. It is they who pull the wires which control the public mind.”[2]
As we can note, control of mass consciousness is nothing new. In fact, it’s had decades to be perfected, which is why it’s become so efficient.
And with 5 Corporations calling the shots, how hard could the manipulation Bernays spoke of be to accomplish?
It’s imperative for us individuals to be mindful of this malicious manipulation that’s been happening for many decades now. If we do not become cognizant of how the media manipulates our thoughts and beliefs, we stand to suffer greatly.
We as individuals need to seek information that’s not only truthful, but empowering.
Such information will allow us to see reality for what it really is, and empower us in the process.
Regardless of what the latest mainstream media spin is, follow your instincts. They’ve led you this far.
The veil of propaganda will cease to have power over us the second we open our eyes and realize our inherent ability to see through the smokescreen.
And the best part about it is that the smokescreen is an illusion, a construct. Put there by the media to keep us coupled to the reality they dictate on the daily basis.
Ultimately, illusions, once seen for what they truly are, become powerless.
Open your eyes and pierce the veil.
Open your mind and cast light on the darkness.
It’s the only way we’re going to see the reality for what it really is.
