Ed Fallon, Director of Bold Iowa, joins RT’s Ed Schultz to discuss his visit to Standing Rock and the experience witnessing the arrival of 2,000 veterans to support the Native American and environmentalist protesters. “It was heartwarming to see that kind of solidarity,” he said, adding that environmental impact studies are still necessary “to make sure that the entire impact of this pipeline is studied … for the entire route.” He also discusses what we might expect of the Trump administration as well as the role of eminent domain in resisting DAPL going forward.
